Character name: Ferren
Race: Wolf changeling
Eyes/shape: golden. Oval shaped (they look like a wolfs eyes)
Hair/style: dark silver. He wears it long, pulled back in a pony tail. (He's Violet's uncle and the hair is a family thing)
Body: Lean muscles and athletic build. He's about 5'11'' and when he turns into a wolf he's rather large and his coloring is black. Near the full moon he sometimes sports a tail. (The whole premiss of this story is changing. It is very old england.pagan based now and the changeling idea is a mix of the fair folk changelings and werewolves.)
Face: Sharp. HIgh strong cheek bones and very angular features. Thinnish lips and when he smiles his cannines are slightly larger then normal.
History: Ferren has a rather tragic past. When he was little he lived with his mother, father, sister, and older brother. His mother was very beautiful and the local lord begain to fancy her. One night he sent his men to claim her, Ferren was little and his parents hid him away in the celler of the house. The soilders broke down the door and killed his brother and father and took his sister and mother away, but not before setting the house on fire. Ferren escaped and at ten began living on his own. While wandering the roads he came upon a few monks from the city of Bellandel. They took pity on him and brought him with them to the city. At the monestary he met Lanon, who was training to be a priest. They became fast friends and Ferren started training in the arts of fighting. When he came of age he and Lanon left the monestry in search of his family. Returning to his home he came to find out that that is mother was dead and his sister was pregnant with the lords child. In a rage, he stormed the manor in the form of a giant wolf, killing everyone in his way. When he found his sister it was too late, she had died in child birth. However the child (Violet) was alive. Leaving the place of his childhood, he took Violet to a monestary in the mountains where she would be raised in peace. After that Lanon became a priest and Ferren a mercenary.
Personality: Despite his terrible past Ferren is rather sarcastic and funny. He is normally very polite except around the full moon when he can get a little fiskey. He has a bit of a temper, and when someone he loves is in harms way he will kill without hesitation. He is very loyal and just and he can have his serious moments. He's good with kids and animals.
