Poem's Title: My Runaway
Poem:
Look at you my runaway
Running for your sake
Everyone is questioning you
They know not what's at stake
Go home they say, my runaway
You'll be ok you'll be just fine
But you know better my runaway
You know you've crossed the line
Run faster now my runaway
Don't let then catch you now
You know what they will do to you
You know exactly how
Sleep softly now my runaway
They might come tonight
Stay rested well my runaway
You know you'll have to fight
I miss you so my runaway
You left so soon from me
Come back to me my runaway
I love you so you see
Big brother, my runaway
It hurts that you're not here
I cry at night my runaway
Your failure I do fear
My Runaway, My runaway
Big Brother, please be safe
My Runaway, My Runaway
Big Brother...plea
se be safe.

Poem's Title: Afraid
Poem:
She's afraid to sleep at night
shadows made keener by the light
wishes whispered from the tongue,
scattered 'bout and far flung
many sleepless nights to come
too many silent screams have made her dumb
and the people, they all wonder
Where was made the blunder?
But the answer has always been
Far beneath their ken
Too much time spent with noise
Too much time between joys
Too few days away from crowd
The people, they are too loud
So don't you try to make her smile
Let her be, leaver her to her guile

Poem's Title: Today
Poem:
“It was his time.”
So simple, so true.
I try not to cry.
I don’t think I do.
I can’t believe it.
He really is gone.
His life was lived,
And now it’s done.
I try not to cry
When he’s taken away.
We had to let him die,
And it had to be today.

Poem's Title: Love hurts
Poem:
Have you ever loved someone,
Whom ever it may be?
You may think it lots of fun,
But you have been deceived.
It will only bring disaster,
And many tears will flow.
Hard, white tears of alabaster,
With nowhere else to go.
You'll sit alone in misery,
Trying not to cry.
Wanting sorrow to be free
Wanting to just die.
Love likes causing tears of pain,
And many hurts as well.
Standing in love's bitter rain,
Hearing love's cold bell.
Hold the trigger to your head,
And love with all your heart.
Want nothing more than to be dead,
And love will do its part.

Poem's Title: I Concur
Poem:
A ham and a pineapple, went to see the sea,
All they saw were lakes, “This is enough for me!”
Ham said; this was the place to be,
Pineapple replied sharply, “I disagree!”
Ham snapped back, “Why are you this way?”
Pineapple coughed and replied, “I’m having a bad day,”
So began the argument, which is lost in history,
But how these inanimate objects could talk; a mystery,
“You’re such a fruit!” yelled an angry Ham,
Pineapple retorted, “You pig, you don’t give a damn!”
“You rotten, sour, big-head!” yelled Ham with malice,
Pineapple lost it; “I’ll drink your blood from a chalice!”
The two ‘friends’ suddenly locked in strife,
Pineapple threatening, to skin with a knife,
Ham, screaming, “I’ll make you a salad!”
So the moral, of this interesting ballad:
Is when you believe something, that you say is right,
Others always challenge and argue; so be prepared to fight.
