Due to many suggestions in this direction there will be Quidditch team tryouts as soon as i figure out how this is going to work. So, as you might have noticed, Welcome to the Wizarding World has gone over some minor make overs and touch ups but many of hte pages are still under major construction.

On the big news side the Hogwarts Forbidden Forest is now open until October 7, 3:00pm so head on over before you loose your chance!
Also Find your Patronus Form is now open. Note that finding your animagus and patronous forms are free to anybody, you do not have to be in that class to participate.

Alright so here's the plain truth! I need help lol i would love to keep this wiki constantly updated but it is becoming harder and harder to do with school as i am sure all of you can relate to. So here it is - i would appreciate it is some more people apply for positions as teachers i already have one brave soul which i am very grateful for ^_^ for more info about becoming a teacher go to the Hogwarts Staff Room
Also i need a 'deputy Minister of Magic' who will help take over the wiki while i cannot which includes sorting people, changing the trivia questions, etc. i will give you more info, just message me.

On a happier note Halloween is comming soon so keep a look out for some contests that will test your drawing, photography, and writing skills.
Sorry again for the delays in wiki updates hope you guys are enjoying yourselves ^_^

Today the animagus test has finally opened but it has not been fully written yet. To check it out go to the Transfigurations class. Also the Harry Potter Trivia have new questions posted so get to them!

The Common Rooms now have their private common rooms where only the correct house can view with the given password. Also Hogwarts seems to have a few more places open to students (be careful however, Hogwarts Forbidden Forest is still out of bounds).
In each special House Common Room is a protrait of their founder. Here is your chance to show off your art skills. At Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop there is an art contest with the theme of Draw a Founder. Rules will be posted shortly.
Flourish and Blotts will soon have its Grand Opening so hang tight!

We have finally reached 5 members!! We are getting news that a few new shops will be opening soon and the pet rule for Hogwarts might stretch to accept a new breed of tiny creatures that you will be able buy at the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Also you will soon be able to pick up your new quills at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop for school for less than 20 sickles depending on which kind of quill you buy.
Hog's Head is now open for book/movie discussions.

Today we celebrate a new batch of pets that have arrived at Eelops Owl Emporium. There are three different breeds of cats available and for only 6 galleons! what a deal! If you don't have any money yet do not fret my friends there is always the Harry Potter Trivia. We have also recieved news that Eelops will indeed be getting a new batch of pets very soon.
Also Hogwarts Classes are currently enrolling students so if i were you i'd better hurry on over there and enroll before the classes fill!
Wands have also become available at Ollivander's Wand Shop so go and pick one up for school. Sources say that they are being sold at 7 Galleons each.

Dear readers, today is the joyous opening of the wiki Welcome to the Wizarding World. This wiki is for all of you Harry Potter fans out there. The wiki includes a rp section at the Three Broomsticks Inn and chances for you to earn house points in each of your classes. Earn money from the Harry Potter Trivia to put into your own vault that you recieve when you sort yourself at the sorting hat. When you've earned enough money perhaps you will be able to buy a wand from Ollivander's Wand Shop or a cat from Eeylops Owl Emporium.
