A spacious room with a long table, Long enough for all the crew plus a few extras to sit. on the right end of the table is the captains chair,and at the left end was a door leading to the kitchen where the chef does all the cooking
G.T. moved around hastily cooking up something for the crew as the began their journey.
As G.T. fried up meat he dumped some rum into the pan too add an interesting twist to his meal,he then took a swig himself and began to prepare what appeared to be a hearty sauce or soup. At this point it was unclear.
Panda walked in with Starlite over his shoulder. He swung her upright once more and sat her right next to him on the bench. "You need to eat something," this time his face was serious and something in his tone read that he wasn't going to budge on that.
G.T. turned around from the stove,and locked eyes with Panda "what is she going to eat?"he said with a smirk
"Anything you make, you're the cook not me," Panda smirked.
G.T. shrugged"if your gonna make her eat at least make it something good...what do you wanna eat sweety?"He said with a smile.
"Im not hungry!" Starlite glared at Panda. "Put me down"
Panda laughed, "You are down girly girl and answer the nice gentle man, would you?"
"Im not hungry!" Starlitle pushed him. "I will not eat on this ship! I never eat on any pirates ship!"
"Then you'll starve," Panda's expression turned to light anger as it fleeted acrosss his face, "There is nothing wrong with a pirate ship. It's one of the only places left that you can do what you love and not worry of trouble and be with family." He stood up, "get her something to eat please. I'm going up to the deck..." He left to go see if they needed help with anything.
"...they were murdered..." Startlite stated before he left the room.
Without turning around he answered, 'Who?"
starlite was sitting staring at the table her eyes widened and watery "...and then....put in...the food...."
Panda sighed and walked over, kneeling in front of Starlite after he turned her and her chair to him. He made her look him in the eye, "What are you talking about girly girl?"
"...my....my parents...." Starlite stated looking into his eyes. Her looked as if all the life was taken out of them now.
"They were killed?" Panda's face softened as he looked at her.
"Butchered...y
ou see we were once pirates...then they got hungry...they took my parents and cut them up making me watch. NO pain killers nothing...killed slowly." Starlite looked away.
"not everyone is a terrible person..." G.T. said sweat running down his face.
"Not all pirates are like that," Panda frowned at the imagery she described. "Like Sarah, the captain, she could have thrown to the sharks, but didn't. Or like Mei, she's been a pirate her whole life, but I've never met anyone kinder or sweeter. Or like this cook here, he's being very generous and kind toward us as well."
Starlite looked away. ".........until they all turn...."
"Come on sweety, Don't make me break out the boyish charm" G.T. said with a smirk "What will you have...wait I didn't catch your name?"
Panda gently titled Starlite's face back toward his, "Not all pirates are bad girly girl......" He paused sighing, "Do I seem that bad to you?"
G.T. reached out and placed his hand on Panda's shoulder for a moment "and what for you?"
"Do you want me to be honest with you?"
Panda glanced back at G.T., "Whatever's cooking...." He looked back to her, "Of course Starlite, always."
Starlite stared at him. "Then yes you do."
Panda nodded and stood up, "I may have killed but never like that." With that, he turned on his heel and headed back up to the main deck.
G.T. Shrugged and let out a but of a yawn. "see you when the food is prepared.
Starlite ran after Panda. "Please wait. Thats not what i ment by that Panda!"
