When those that put themselves last, and have responded to the call of duty that their country has rendered, fall in the line of duty.

What is rarely publicized is that some of the time these families are so badly hurt due to loss of life, limb, and even sanity. 
These families are often times caught with severe financial burdens. 
Funds such as the "Fallen Heroes Fund" helps to ensure that these families will be able to endure all of the burdens
that come about with the sudden loss of a loved one, or that loved ones abilities.

Without help, without support, without the care that the institution provides, these families would be lost.
