Gentleman



This may sound arrogant, but I like to think of myself as a gentleman.
I ALWAYS help the ladies, when they need me too. I hold the doors, and so on.

BUT, for some weird reason, being a gentleman never did anything good for me.
Girls always like to take the advantage of it...
An example you ask? Sure.


I hope you can all remember Cindy? Well, for those of you who HAVEN'T read Beauty Of The Rose, she's a cute little girl at first sight... BUT, after several minutes, your oppinion will change, not a doubt.
Well, anyway, in the beginning of the year, she asked me if she could share my locker, 'cause her code didn't work on hers. It would be a week before they would be fixed, so I figured it couldn't do any harm.
Right.
Next week.
Still, no working locker. It appeared many lockers didn't work. TOO many. They wouldn't be fixed untill CHRISTMAS.
But there's more. As I said, she's a little girl. She is indeed little. She can't see the code, because my locker is on the top row. Naturally, she forces me to come along, and opening my locker for her. She then forces my into waiting, by simply asking me to do so.
15 minutes spoiled, for opening a locker. Not to mention the amount of space she uses for her books.


As you can see, being a gentleman isn't always nice.
Another example.

In several weeks, we are going to Italy with school. We'll be gone for 10 days. Saturday - Week-later-Sunday.
In those 10 days we will look around towns, and we'll have 1 free day. On this day, Renate, another girl from school, asked me if I will go shopping with her. "Sure". Now, I have to carry all of her stuff, and just smile and say "thank you".
Great.

As you can see, not much good came from it.
All because I want to be a Gentleman.
