Welcome to Golgotha City

These streets are run by [Rice] and [Rook.].
Watch your step.

Lisa walked slowly down the streets with Lou, hugging her arms close as the cold wind whipped at them. It was a very cold night, past midnight aswell. She looked around, hoping they were safe aslong as they kept the the path and the street lights.

Lou kept her chemicals closer and her teaser closer still. They walked insilence for a while.

"So...how long have you know Keyser and Sander then"? Lisa broke the silence, she didn't realy like it, especially at night when it wa sso errie.

Lou shrugged. "for about five years. Well, Keyser five years, Sanders about two."

"Oh so you're quite close to them both then". Lisa smiled as she walked, shivering again, but they were close to her house now so it didnt really matter.

"Keyser more than Sanders, but yes, I suppose you could say that. "Lou walked Lisa to her front door.

"Would you like to come in for some drinks and something to eat, I could whip up something quickly for you and Im sure husband of mine would love the company". Lisa unlocked the door and held it open for her.

Lou looked at her watch. It rread three am. "Sure. i could stop in for a bite."

"GREAT". Lisa patted Lou's back and swung the door close, locking it."Hunny I'm home, and Lou's come in for a drink I hope you don't mind". Lisa called out into the dark room, there was no reply. She switched the hall light and walked into the kitchen leading Lou in. Sander was at the kitchen table, laptop near typing away doing work, as always. He didn't even look up as they walked in, Lisa sighed, obviously he hadn;t even cared she was gone. However, if one was observant, there would see that his shoes were by the back door, fresh mud on the mat, he had obviously bee out looking for her not a few secounds ago. But alas, Lisa didn;t notice this.

Lou smiled and sat down near Sanders, pointing out a minor mistake on the last pahrase he had jsut typed in. "If this is the one i remember correctly, its p-s-y-c-i-l insteard of that way..." She said gently.

Sander slowly tapped back on the erase button and corrected his mistake, though he looked a little angry at having made it in the first place. His fingers typed away quickly, he was writting a report on the current deaths in the asylum, Frankies file had obviously been erased.

Lisa was now getting out some ingedients."I'll make some biscuits for us....vanilla alright for you"? She turned to Lou.

Lou nodded. "Indeed. Thank you, Lisa."

Lisa smiled and began to cook away, moving quickly applying the mixture, she hummed a little as she went.

Sander finished off the report and closed the laptop down. He then removed his red overalls and sugical hat, folding them and putting them in a washing basket. He was wearing a plain white shirt and black trousers under neath, his black hair was swept back behind his ears now in a slightly messy way.

Lou smiled and observed them both. They fit to gether so well.

Lisa began to mix the ingreidents in a bowl, humming louder, she began to dance a little turning the oven on."Darling could you go fetch Lou a drink please". She called out.

Sander looked down at Lou, waiting for her to say what she wanted.

Lou smiled. "water will be fine, Sanders. Tahnk you."

Sander nodded and walked over to one of the kitchen cabinets, he took out a thin glass and then poured some filtere water from the tape into the glass. He then slowly walked back over and placed it on the mat infront of Lou.

Lisa put the biscuit dough on the tray and slide them into the oven."They'll only be about ten minutes". She smiled and walked past Sander, giving him a quick kiss on the head.

Lou thought she saw Sander's smile a litle bot, but she wasn't sure. She took a sip of water adn grinned at Lisa. "Thanks you, Lis."

Lisa smiled."You should stay the night Lou, I can set up the spare room for you". Lisa leant against the kitchen counter, hands tapping on it slightly."It's really dark and I wouldn't want you to have to walk back to the Asylum".

Sander was now sorting out some paper work, indeed Lou had seen a smile, and he did another one when he looked at Lisa out of the corner of his eye. It was more of a twitch than a smile, but for him even that was really out of character.

Lou smiled and shook her head. "No, thank you, Lisa. It is a genrous offer, but I need to get back to the asylum after this." She took another sip and eyed Sanders out of the corner of her eye curiously, wondering why he was insuch a good mood.

"You sure..well..okay". Lisa frowned a little unsure of letting Lou walk alone, but she was a strong woman she could take care of herself. The oven beeped and Lise bent down and got out the hot biscuits.

Sander looked up at the biscuits, eyeing them a little, he liked sweet stuff, especially sweet stuffy Lisa made.

Lou hid a giggle and a grin behind a sip of water. "mm. Those smell deliscious, Lis."

"Thanks, it's just a little recipe I made up, I'll give you it some time". Lisa put the biscuits on a plate and placed them in the table. "Oh Lou have you seen the pictures from our holiday". She suddenly remember Lou hadn't been over since their trip to Europe.

Sander took a biscut and began to nibble at it, eyes fixed on the table.

Lou smiled at that and nodded. "Next time I'm over I shall indeed do that.: she reached for a biscut and took a bite. "mmm."

"Oh it was lovelly, you should really go there". Lisa walked up to their small note board and pulled off a picture. "We went to the fountains in Germany". She showed her a picture of herself and Sander by the fountains, Lisa was hugging him and grinning doing a peace sign, Sander looked a little bored to be honest.

Sander looked at the picture, all he remember was that it was very cold and he had work to do on that day, but Lisa had dragged him out.

Lou smiled. "I shall indeed go there."

"I look really good in this picture..look honey". Lisa held the photo to Sander who lookedup and too the photo. He then went back to his papers. "You look good everywhere". He muttered turning the page.

Lou heard the comment and laughed.

"OH YOU'RE SO SWEET". Lisa grabbed his head and hugged him tightly, Sander's eyes widened a little as he was suddenly being crushed into Lisa's chest. He blinked dumbly as she stroked his head. "See Lou..isn't he just darling".?

Lou grinned and noddded, standing up. "Well, I hate to leave you now, but i have to go. I promise to stop by soon."

"Oh take some biscuits with you". Lisa grabbed a plastic bag from the draw and put in a few biscuits, she handed them to her. "See you soon Lou".

Lou grinned and handed Lisa a packet of paper. "This is to unsure a safe pregnancy. Just hings to avoid and things to not avoide, stuff like that." She smiled adn spoke these things in a low voice to Lisa, then walked out teh door, waving goodbye to all. She headed back to the asylum to find the doors locked.
"Damn." she cursed and sat beside the doors.

Five months later.

Keyser glared down at the cup of tea in his hands, he shuffeled a little to get warm, damn it had gotten cold recently, but then it was Winter time. He snuggeled down into his scalf, and wrapped his gloved hands harder around the tea to keep them warm. His black only kept him warm if he didn't move, he wasn't even tempted to move to light a fag.

Lou limped in with a heavy blanket. "you know, you really should invest in turning on the heat inthis place. It's not good for Navice." She said, laying a light hand on her now showing stomach.

Keyser just glared at her and then back to his coffee."It's FINE". HE said between his teeth chattering and shivering himself. "I do have heating..it just gets to hot when I put it on".

Lindsay smiled and shook her head, walking over to the thermostat, placing it at a comfortable 60 degrees farenheight. SHe shifted oncomfortably from foot to foot, unsure of how to ask Keyser if he wanted to be the godfather of her child.

Keyser looked up as he heard the heating coming on, he frowned a little, looking around wondering what it was for a while. He eventually removed the scalf and downed his tea quickly.

Lou laughed and walked over to his desk, perching on its edge.

Keyser looked up as Sander walked into the room, he slowly walked over and placed down a few files.

Keyser looked at them."Ah..these are the profiles of the people wishing to take the head gaurd role...excellant...you can leave Sander". He began to look through the profiles, the position of head gaurd was very important, he needed to pick the person carefully.

Lou smiled at Sanders on his way by and nodede to him. She looked at the door and saw Frankie. She shook her head no at his enquiring glance.

Keyser shuffled through the papers, he didn't look at Frankie, he was too busy at the moment."Oh..he sounds good..Donnie Faustin...says here he was a Detective for over five years...good report..".

Lou's head snapped towards Keyser's. her eyes wide, adn Frankie tripped outside of the door.

Keyser felt the air go cold in the room, he looked up at Lou and Frankie. "What..."? He put the profiles down, looking very serious, why had this mans name sparked such an alarming reaction.

Frankie stood up and brushed off his blazer and jeans. Lou's face seemed stuck in a look of shock.

"Anyone mind filling me into why you two have suddenly gone like zombies". Keyser stood up, grabbing his fags out of his jacket poket.

Since Lou didn't answer, Frankie came ina dn stood behind her, looking with disgust at the photo on the top of the page. "That's my son of a bitch cousin who brought me here."

"Really Frankie...I never knew you cared so much". Don stood at the door, dressed in a white shirt, black tie and smart trousers, he looked like he was about to appear in court, or wait tables at a fancy resterant. Her purple eyes gleamed with an odd emotion as he looked at Frankie.

Keyser gave him a slight glare."Oy...why are you here...you can't just let yourself into my office.

Lou finaly snapped out of her 'trance' and looked at the door, sliding off of the desk, her hands starting to ball at her sides. Frankie took her hands and held her, turning her away from Don. He whispered in her ear. "I swaer to God that if Keyser weren't here I would let you kill him... but not now love, not now..." Lou calmed down and walked over to Keyser, slipping one of the cigarets out of his box and lit it for herself, looking stressed out as she slid into his chair.

DOn didn't enter the room, he simly stood stock still, like a soldier waiting for battle. "I was called and said you wished to interview me". He said in a serious tone.

Keyser just sort of gave him a half-lidded once over. "I did..I only just got the profiles...who rang you"?

"The old gaurd captain". Don replied blandly.

Keyser frowned."Well...your got good comments here so I'll give you a chance". Keyser leant back in the chair. "Talk to a nurse downstairs called Ell, she'll show you around..now go".

Don nodded and walked out, his left eye twitched a little.

Lou poke Keyser's bak. "Let me up before you sit down next time, alright hun?"

Keyser stood up and sighed, he was about to talk with a seeming explosion hit the room.

"HIYA GUYS". Temple charged into the room, doing a little spin and then posiong, grinning like a cheshire cat. He looked at Lou and Frankie, then to Keyser, bobbing a little.

Gantz walked in slowly behind him, looking away.

Lou smiled and stood up slwoly. "hey there Temp." she ruffled the boy's hair fondly. "You're suprisingly graceful today."

Temple did a little hop when she ruffeled his hair. "I know right...I didn't get much sleep last night so i'm a bit queiter than usual..HIYA KEYSER..". Templ gave him a longing stare, battering his eyelashes.

Keyser just glared back, this kid annoyed him, he was too loud.

Lou walked up to Gantz and gave teh quiet boy a hug, her shortness even more apparent on huis tall frame. "Hey there kid. I got a new book for ya." She said, lookign for her purse.

Temple did a litle twirl over to Frankie, he then hugged his arm grinning up at him."You better be taking care of my little Lou-Bunny".

Gantz went red as she hugged him, and at the mention of a book even redder, he tried to hide it by using his collar. He nodded sheepishly, eager to see what book she had got him.

Frankie smiled downa t the boy and swung him over hiss houlder, carrying him like a sack of potatoes. "Oh, I am. Don't you worry about that."

Lou found her purse and slid the brown paper bag out. "I hope it's alright. I pulled a few strings to get this. It won't be in sotres for another two weeks... It's the next book in that..."S he coughed in to her arm. "Uhm, series that you like to read, Gantz."

Temple wriggeled a little, feeling indignified, though he smiled and hugged Frankies head, rubbing his hair. "Wow..you sure are strong..".

Gantz held the bag in his hands like it was the holy grail itself, he clutched it hard and bowed his head. Spinning around he pulled it out and flicking through the pages. He slowly walked to the corner and bent down, kneeling, reading it already.

Frankie winked at Lou. "You betcha'. I have to be in order to pin her down for any amount of time."

Lou blushed and shook her head. She looked at Keyser adn raised an eyebrow.
'Can we talk?" she mouthed.

Keyser nodded and walked out into the hall with Lou, he gave Gantz an odd look but shrugged. "What is it".

Temple hoped down and walked over to Gantz."GANTZ IS READING A DIRTY BOOK". He screamed out causing the tall boy to swing around, eyes wide in horror.

Lou covered Temple's mouth on her way out and whispered soething sternly in his ear before releasing him and walking into the hallway, leaving Frankie to deal with the two boys.

"Nothing really." Lou leaned against the walk and crossed her arms. "I was just wondering if you would consent to be the godfather to Navice."

Temple pouted and crossed his arms, not liking being told off by Lou. He gave Ganzt a kick in the back before walking over to Keyser chair ancd spinning in it.

"Godfather...what would I have to do". Keyser didn't look to enthused, but he usually didn't, inside he felt quite honoured.

Lou smiled. "Nothing really. It just means that if anythign shold happen to Frankie or I, you would have custody of Navice. If you realy wanted to play the part fully, you could be there at the birth, but I know how childbirth, well, freaks you out a little bit."

Frankie shot a look to Temple, but his back was to Frankie at teh moment.

Temple sighed and stopped in the chair, crossing his arms. He began to go through Keysers draws.

Keyser backed off then and there like she was having the baby right now. "No it doesn't...". He sniffed a little, obviously lieing."Yeah sure I'll be the things god father..though I don't know what you're on about...you and Frankie seem like the types to go on living past a hundred".

Lou just smiled softly at her old friend. "My mother died at my birth. MY father died of heart problems. I dunno about Frankie's parents...but if we live... hes gonna be the one to out live me."

Frankie snapped at Temple to stop.

"Nothings certain in life Lou....".Keyser walked back into his office."GET OUT OF THE CHAIR BRAT". He screamed, charging at Temple.

Temple yelped and got out, he grinned and ran out the door."Come on Gantz".
Gantz got up and slowly walked after him, still engulffed in his book. Temple nearly ran into Don who was pressed against the wall, listening to the conversation.

Lou shot a look at Don, narrowing her eyes at him.

Frankie laughed and didn't notice his cousin, still watching Temple run down the stairs. He walked back into the room, kissing Lou on the lips almost flirtily.

Lou jsut rolled her eyes and shook her head no at Frankie.

Don was gone, walking calmly down the corridoor. So she ws his weakness, his narrowed his eyes dangerously.

Lou sighed and leaned against Frankie, who in turn wrapped his arms around her waist, whispering things in her ear that made her turn bright red.

Keyser frowned as his phone rang, he picked it up, Sander, what did he want. He listened to the man talk about not liking the new gaurd, which was odd since h rarley spoke about anyone."Listen..if I wanted your opinion I'd ask for it, now get back to work". He hung up.

"Sander doesn't like the new guard?" Lou asked, a disturbed look on her small face. She grabbed her purse. "I'm going to go talk to him." She hurried out of the room, opting to take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Keyser sighed and nodded, getting on with some work.

Sander's Office!

Lou ran up the steps and ran into Sander's office, waiting till she got her breath back before talking. "Why...don't you like... the..new guard?"

Sander looked up slowly, he straightened out some papers on his desk and walked over to get some files. "I didn't get a good feeling from him". He replied blandly, picking out a book on lobotomies.

Lou looked around the room and leaned against the doorframe. "He's Frankie's cousin, if that tels you anything."

"I doubt he'd talk to me". Sander sat down on his chair and flicked through the book.

"Oh, he might. I've found he has a bad habit of eaves dropping." She siad pointedly.

Sander nodded, flicking the page of his book."If he talks to me I shall inform you". He looked up as there was a knock at the door. "Come in Lisa".

Lisa walked into the room, smiling. She was almost nine months gone now with her pregnancy and looked ready to give bith any minute. "Hey hunny..Lou..I just brought you some dinner".

Lou smiled at her. "Here Lis. How are the twins?"

"Should be coming any day now..just waiting on my waters to break, got to say though, I'm alittle scared". Lisa placed the dinner down on the desk and turned to Lou. Smiling. "I was reading up on child birth and well, it sort of freaked me out....the only thing that's keeping me going is knowing that my husband will be there, holding my hand".

Sander dropped the book, looking a little spooked, he wasn't really a giving birth person, plus he didn't really want to see his wife in so much pain.

Lou smiled. "I understand." She then lauhged. "Keyser looked spooked when I asked him to be the godfather of Navice and told him he had to be at teh birth."

Lisa laughed hard at the thought of Keyser doing such a thing."Really Lou..you should give him a break, he does work really hard after all". She put an arm around her friend drawing her into a hug.

Lou hugged her friend back. "so, have you thought of any names for the twins?"

"Well..sort of, I don't know the genders yet but I have a slighlt feeling I'm going to have two girls". Lisa rubbed her stomach."I was thinking maybe Alice and Violet.

"Aww. How sweet. I'm not far enough along to determine the gender of our baby, but it's first name is definantly Navice." Lou smiled and patted her stomach.

Lisa smiled. She then turned back to Sander."You staying all night again...you know you haven't been home in a few days". Lisa looked down, a little sad.

"I'm busy". Was all Sander said.

"Oh..well..ok then..bye Lou". Lisa smiled and pattered her shoulder before walking out.

Lou shot a look at Sander before cathcing up with Lisa, helping her walk. "Hey, how about I stay with you tonight? In case teh baby comes, you know?"

"Oh no don't worry Lou, I know if I called him in labour he'd be with me within minutes, but thankyou anyway and oh...wait..this man asked me to give something to you". Lisa stopped and rumaged in her bag, she took a few secounds then brought out a letter. "He didn't give me his name, just said you needed to get this letter urgently, he also said you'd know what to do". Lisa waved goodbye.

Lou waved goodbye to Lisa and looked at the letter, then sat down ont he stairway and read it. She blinked in confusion, then read it out aloud to herself.

Dear Lou,
I apologise for my rudeness earlier and would like you to meet me in the park at midnight tonight.
Please come alone, but if you need to feel free to bring a weapon in case you are suspicious.
I promise all I wish to do is talk.
Please do not tell anyone about this letter and please come.
Frankie's life may depend on it.
Sincerely, Donnie!

Lou looked at the letter supisciously and tapped it against her jaw, then decidede what she needed to do. She ran back up the stairs to Keyser's office that she needed someoneto go with her to the park tonight, but to stay out of sight and within ear range. "I can't tell you why, but I need you to do this." She whispered to her friend. "Please?"

Keyser looked at her, he nodded. "Sure...ok". Keyser stood up and looked at the clock. It would take a good hour to walk to the park. "Let's go".

Time: 12:00am

Don was sat on one of the swings in the park, kicking ever so slightly making him swing a little. He was staring at a shadow caused by the moonlight on the tarmac of th jungle gym.

Lou stood in the shadow of the tree next to the swing set, listening to the creek of the chains. She clsed her eyes and calmed her breathing, then snuck silently to the gate and eased through it. She winced when the gate let out a moan, adn she quickly turned around, making it look like she was walking in.

Don didn't look up, he merely smiled a little. "You came...". His voice sounded relieved, almost desperate.

Lou put a hand to the back of her belt to make itlook like she was touching a weapon as she walked up to him, her hips swaying side to side a little. "Yes."

Don was a cop, so it wasn't like he fooled her, he didn't get up, or even look at her."How long have you known Frankie"?

Lou walked and took a seat on the swing next to him, pulling out her actualy, but unloaded gun, and set it on her lap, bracing her back as she sat down. "Ever since you put him in there, Hun."

"How long is that again"? Don swang a little, the metal chains creaking in an odd tune that seemed like a song in the cold nights sky.

Lou just looked up at the sky, her mind ever alert as her outer apearence seemed to relax and get trustful of Don. "Going on 2 years adn five months today. Why do you ask?"

"I just wondered, I've lost track of time really". Don stopped swinging. "In that time..has he ever told you about his family, how much do you really know about him, about 'us'"? He began to swing again

"I know you suffer from a psychological disorder, and Frankie always lived on his moods, like an artist, so you were ever the loved one in the family. You're parents died, adn when Frankie's parents started to love you more than they did Frankie, it drove you two apart and helped further your psyche disorder, ergo, getting you fired on medicalleave adn serching for a job here at teh Asylum, where, you ulitmatly want to get back at Frankie for something." Lou smiled adn took sighed, strangely out of breath. Her ehad was a little muddy, and she stood up to clear it, leanig against the post of the swing set. "Of course, I could be way off, but, working in an asylum, and working with chemicals as I do, you learn to read much beyond the first two or three layers of people, so you can see what really makes them..." she turned around, crossign her arms, facing Don. "Tick." she took another breath, watching Don the entire time, her countennce and voice still trustful and naive.

Don smiled, and chuckled. "Ever the insightful one aren't you, you're wise beyond you years but I wonder...how much do you really know". Don stood up, brushing his trousers down. He walked towards the gate and leant on it."My mother......isn't my mother...my father...isn't my father..me and Frankie..we're...closer".

"i'm only 19, Hun." she walked off after Don, using him as a walking stick, slipping her arm through his. Her bump had became noticible, adn she used this to gvie her an excuse to do that. "Well, Frankie's told me more..."

"Golgotha..isn't what it seems, can you feel it, in the air..i think it's..doom". Don looked at her, rather frightful. "There is another reason I came here...somethings moving in this city, and it isn't human".

"You felt it too?" she asked, more to herself than to Don. She looked around, and, seeing someone walkign up the street, she stiffenedm as if startled by their apearence.

"What is it"? Don looked at her, hands now in his pocket.

Lou shivered an shook her head. "i don't know."S he coughed. "So, what did you really want to see me for?"

"Just to talk, like I said....". Don smiled and leant on the railing, the wind blew his hair a little."It's a wonderful night isn't it, clear sky, full moon, stary sky...then..why do I feel so unsetteled"?

Lou shook off the dread creeping up her back. "Well, if you wanted to talk, we cna go back to my office... it would be... safer..."

"I think you're right..we should leave". Don walked towards the park, as he opened the gate and went to seemingly get onto the path he was met with an invisible wall."What"? He tried again, it was like a forcefeild was up around the park, he pressed his hands against the invisible wall, glittering waves formed around his hand, like he had touched water.

Lou walked into the same thing, stumblign backwards. "what the hell...?"

Don punched and kicked the invisible wall but to no avail, it was like kicking at shallow water and hitting the rocks beneath. Nothing seemed to break it. "Looks like we were right to be scared, what;s going o-". He was cut off by a laugh.

"Oh my oh my..ho ho ho heee~". Velvet laughed, she was standing ontop of a lampost atleast 15ft feet in the air, perfectly balance in the tiny light at the top, an action which seemed impossible.

Lou looked up at the woman, utterly disgusted.

Velvet twirled her pony tail with one finger while stroking the other down her body in a rather seductive manner. Her skirt blew in the wind, her top exposed revealing her rather large breasts."Two little mice caught in the trap...now now kittens..play times only started". She was suddenly gone from the lamp post and suddenly inside the park, infront of them.

Don jumped back as she suddenly appeared, what the hell, how did she move so quickly.

Lou didn't budge. She was studying the woman, noticing somethign in her eye gleamed in the moonlight.

Rook skipped up the sidewalk, dangling her teddybear in one hand, her sunglasses reflecting the moonlight. She knocked on the barrier. "Velvet... let me in Hun."

"Rook my dear..do you want to handle this one alone..or shall I have Creed on stand by". Velvet stood back to let Rook, in, she swung around behind Rook and leant up, arms around Rook in a sort of embrace."I was you to test them well..these two are of great importance..let's see how strong they are". She kissed Rook's cheek and backed off.

Don looked at the secound person now, the power from these two, it was almost suffocating him.

Rook leaned her head against velvet's for a moment before stepping foreward. "Have Creed stand by. I'm still unsure of what to do." She stpped foreward and assesed the duo.

"Sure thing". Velvet clicked her fingers and a thumb came from the tree closest to them, by the tree a tall shadow loomed, glasses shinning in the moon light. It grinned a toothy grin and sat down, observing.

Velvet was gone, leaving them due to face the duo.

Don whipped out his gun and stood infront of Lou."Be careful Lou..and get your gun ok".

Lou nodded adn loaded her gun, checking it.

Rook smiled and placed her bear onthe ground adn waved her hands over it. Sparkles fell from her hands and oer the bear. Rook stepped back and opened a coca cola, taking a long draught, draining it. Her teddy bear grew into a real bear, huge, snarling, adn dangerous. She walked up to it and played with it as if it were a kitten. She flashed a wink at Creed, and nodded at Don.

Don's eyes widened in horror as the grisley bear came to life, he slowly backed off, his entire body shacking in terror. "Oh..my..god..". Was all he could say. "Lou....what do we do"?

Lou took aim and shot the Grizzley aber in the forehead, watchign it sparkle back down to a teddy bear.

Rook pouted and picked up her teddy bear, giving it to Creed to hold. She drained another coca cola, adn snapped ehr fingers, completely engulfing herself in flames. she sasheyd up to the duo, looking demon as she smiled. "Bad choice, darlings."

Lou knew they had to run, but she was pulled in by her desire to study this... child. she made up her mind to take at least one of them back to the asylum. She fingered her watch, activatign a button that notified Keyser. He had a tranquilizer gun that shot long distances.

Creed caught the bear and placed it gentle beside him.

"It's no use contacting your friend...we're trapped in remember..I think that guy has something to do with it over there..". Don pointed to Creed who's hand was leant out, tied to his finger was a very thin wire, the wire sparkeled in the moonlight, the moonlight showed that the wire traveled to four parts of the park making a square, attached to a tailsmon in each corner.

Lou slowly started walking back, watching the talisman. She took aim at Rook, mouthing to Don ' another gun in my back pocket'.

Don had his gun."You take the girl..I'll take the guy..maybe..if we can get this guy to drop the force field we can run ok...our main aim is to survive..so..drop that thought of getting them back to study them". Don gave her a serious look."Think of your child". HE new that would be all she needed to live.

Creed stood up, he flicked the wire off of his finger and onto the fourth talismon by him, the talismons vanished into the ground."If you're thinking of breaking the talismons then I'd stop...only I can touch them". He spoke with a very thick Irish accent.

Lou dropped her gun in suprise. "Father Creed?" She asked. Lou had attended his church a few times when she had felt overweighted by stress. She picked up her gun adn took out the one in her back pocket, one in each hand. She aimed them at Rook.

Creed stoped for a moment, his red eyes widened a flashed to green for a secound, for a split secound at the mention of his name he turned back. However the red eyes came once more."Ah...so you're the little lass that has befriended by host's other side..pitty I'll have to kill you". He rubbed his hands together, blades formers between each of his fingers.

Don turned to Rook."You know him...maybe you can deal with him more..I'll take this girl". DOn glared at Rook, gun ready.

Lou, step by step, walked up to Creed. "Father Creed... I know you're in there. Pealse... fight for this one. Fight for me." as lou continued to walk forward, her guns aimed at Creed's head, she racked her mind for soemthing that Father Creed had taught her that would help her get through. She rememebred their conersation one time. She touched her foehead, her heart, tehn both shoulders. "in the name of the Father, the Son, adn the Holy ghost, and by teh spilt sacred blood of our lord and saviour, I comand thee, demon, to take leave of this Father Creed." She held her breath, waiting.

Creed's eyes flashed, he screamed and cluthced his head, toppling backwards. The force field around them shook a little, but remained stable."SHUT UP SHUT UP VEIL DEMON". He charged at Liu and smacked her clean in the chest, bayonets slashed at her arms.

DOn charged at Rook, he fired at her legs and then dodge a fireball coming at him.

Lou ducked and slid her legs into Creed's, knocknig them both down. She scrambled for two sticks, making a cross which she tied together with a hair tie. She stood up, blood dripping from ehr chest,a dn placed teh 'cross' on it, soaking it. She wasn't a relgious person, but she prayed to God that it would work this time. "in the name of the Father, the Son, adn the Holy ghost, and by teh spilt sacred blood of our lord and saviour, I comand thee, demon, to take leave of this Father Creed!" She ran at Creed, throwing the cross dead on at his chest, makign it stick in his shoulder, longest part first.

Creed fell back as the cross impaled him through the shoulder, he merely laugh a hollow laugh and grabbed the cross, pulling it in furhter. Blood splattered everywhere, dripping down from his shoulder."Is that all you've got mary". He then booted Lou in the chest.

Lou panicked and scrambled up. She held one shoulder for a moment, then remembered seomthing he had given her. A silver bullet. She pulled it out.

Creed laughed and stalked towards her, bayonets shinning in the light.“Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.” He got closer.“I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them.....AMEN”!

Lou's fingers shook as she loaded teh gun as quickly as she could. once she got it in, she stood up, calm and strangely peaceful. She muttered a swift prayer. "God, please, for the sake of everyone, guide this bullet." She took aim, and fired.

Everythign went quiet, adn Rook stopped and distinguished her flames, turnign around.

The bullet hit Creed's chest, it peirced through his lung causing him to began to chocke and try to breath. Blood bubbeled from his mouthl. He fell forwards, unconcious. As he hit the floor the forcefield around them shattered like glass.

The secound the force field went down a blur charged into the park. Said blur elbowed Rook hard in the back so hard it through her forward.

Don shot a look as Rook hit the ground, he then saw Sander, standing over her, angered look on his face. "Doctor Sander"?

Lou sighed with relife and looked at Rook, to see a tranquilizer needle sticking out of her back. She sighed and knelt down, kissing the top of Crred's head. "Sleep in peace, Father Creed." She whispered. She walked over, holding hart of her shirt to the wound in her chest.

Sander looked down at Rook with morbid curiosity. He then looked back up at Don and Lou."Are you two alright"?

Don nodded, he had a burn on his left hand and a cut on his shoulder, but he could still walk.

With a flash Rook and Creed were gone. Sander blinked and looked up at the jungle gym. Velvet stood atop it with Creed over one should and Rook over the other."Till next time my lovelies". And with a witch like cackle she was gone.

Lou sunk to the ground on her knees, holding her chest, losing blood quickly. She gapsed for air, struggling to stand up again.

Don looked down at Lou and went to her, putting an aiding arm around her."We need to get her to a hospital".

Sander nodded and walked over, helping her up along with Don, they both lead her towards Don's car.

"Where's...Keyser...?" she muttered. "I...I need...to tell him about...the eyes."

Don looked down as her."Eyes..what eyes"? He was going to go get Keyser while Sander drove her to the hospital?

Lou struggled to sit up, her eyes burnign with a fiery light as she stood up, and stumbled to the fence of the park, useing it to hold onto.

"Lou you need to get back into the car and too the hospital..you can talk to Keyser later". Don grabbed her gently and tried to usher her into the car.

Lou collapsed.

Don caught her and lifted her into the car. He grimaced at his own pain, he needed help to."Sander..go quickly". Sander started the car and headed to the hospital. Don leant against the window, he needed to contact Frankie. He dialed Frankie's number and waited.

Frankie picked up. "What do you want, Don?"

Don's voice cracked as he tried to speak, pain evident in his suttering tone."Hospital..now......me and Lou were..attacked...". He began to moan in pain, dropping the phone, it slammed shut as it hit the car floor.

"Hello...? Hell...Hello?" Frankie stuttered into the phone. He heard a moan and heard a click, then static. He slammed the phone down and grabbed his keys, rushing out of the asylum and to his car.

Sander stopped the car and walked out, he immediatly got some emergency staff's attention. They rushed and got Lou and Don onto a bed, the two were rushed into the emergency ward immediatly. Doctors rushed around them, tending to their fairly bad wounds, trying to stop the bleeding.

Sander waited outside, sitting quietly.

Frankie nearly flipped his car rushing to the hospital. He slammed on his breaks and ran up to Sander. "What's going on? What happened?"

Sander looked up and calmly pointed to the recovery room where both Lou and Don where.

Frankie rushed in and asked for Lou and Don.

The thin nurse didn't even look up. "Are you family?"

Frankie nodded. I'm Don's cousin and Lou's..." He stopped to think. What was he? Boyfriend? no...thye were past that... Fiance? ...no... he hadn't asked her to mary him yet...He shook his head. "I'm the father of Lou's child and her fiance...." He said.

Don was awake and already getting dressed and out of bed, he ignored the protests of the nurse next to him who was trying to usher him back into bed. His left arm was brocken and in a sling, so putting on his jacket was hard.

Frankie skidded to a stop and helped his cousin put his coat on. "Are you alright?'"

Don turned around and nodded."I'm fine...". He shoved his plastered arm through the sleeve and then back into the sling.

"No problem." Frankie nodded and proceeded to Lou's room.He walked in and sat next to her, holding her hand in his.

Keyser walked into the hospital, he stopped to talk to Sander, asking what happened. Apparantly he didn't know, all he heard was screaming and smashing at the park.

THE PARK

Martin poked a puddle of blood on the floor with his gun, he pounted a little. Seemed they had already left, and he wanted to fight.

Drake looked around and saw Martin, walking over to him. "Anything to report?" He asked quietly, looking aournd, his countenance calm, but every fiber of him screaming they were being watched.

Martin looked up."Just ze remains of vhat seemed to be quite a sehr bloody fight". He stood up, looking at bullet holes in the floor, he put his hands on his waist. "Herr Captain....I defintaly think this vas zee vork of Darkers...".

Somethign glinting in teh moonlight caught the attention of Drake. He knelt down and picked it up. It was a pair of specticles, very old looking, and round. He handed them to Martin. "What do you think about those, Martin?" He looked around and motioned over a medic to take samples of the blood from each spot. "I'm thinking it was the work of the Darkers too."

Martin held the glasses, he looked at them for a while."Hmm glasses, maybe vone of zee victims dropped these..or..maybe zee attacker did, ve should bag them incase ve see anyvone with them". He handed them to a foot soldier.

Alex stood by the tree, hand on her stomach, her face somewhat one of pain. God damn it, why did she need to start her period today of all times, he womb felt like it was crushing itself.

Drake saw Alex and a smile flickered to his face. He knew that Alex was a girl, her records said so, but sice no one could access soldier records but himself adn his boss, her secret was safe. "Alex. Get over here." He barked.

Alex shoot back to reality."RIGHT CAPTAIN". She walked over and stooped by him, looking up at him, face straight and controlled. His lip curled a bit as her stomach ached so much, but she could take it.

Martin began to inspect the rest of the fight scene, looking for more blood spills.

From the shadows Velvet watch, leaning against a tree, a satisfied smile on her face.

"That chilli we had for dinner getting to you, soldier?" Drake asked, scanning the area casualy. "It's getting to me. I think we don't let Parker make chilli again, what do you say?"

"Yeah yeah..I'm not good with hot stuff". Alex smiled and rubbed the back of her head.

"ALEX". Martin hoped at her and wrapped his arms around her front holding her in an odd embrace. "You're so cute for a guy"?

Alex blushed a little at how close they were, she then coughed and put on a really manly voice."Cute..cute is for pansy women..".

Drake coughed. "Alex, enough with the women comments for tonight...." He saw a shadow move to his left, and he snapped his attention back to the soldiers in front of him. "Alex, get the medic to run a diagnostic on teh blood and get a dna sample for each. Because of the location, I think it is two seperate people. Martin..." he turned to teh german sildier. "Go over there and check out those scorches. They need you're eyes over there."

"YES SIR". Alex saluted and ran off and over to medic, Martin also did as he was told, leaving Drake alone.

"My my...you certainly know how to handel your troopers...Captain". Velvat appeared against the tree, leaning against it, arms crossed neatly over her chest, one leg bent slightly.

Drake walked over to her and pulled her to the other side of the tree, out of the eyesight of his troop. "What do you want, Vel?" he asked softly, his eyes twinkling mischieviously.

"Me..nothing...I was just simply marvelling at how you S.T.A.K tend to show up mere hours after in incident, you do act fast don't you". Velvet smiled, hands sliding up Drake's front to entwine around his neck.

He slid his hands around her small waist. "Well, when youleave the hosue for hours adn come back smelling like soot, I kind of figure it's my job to go out and look around for what chaos you have spewed about."

"Chaos..me...I'm no the type really". Velvet leant in close, getting on her tip-toes so she could leant up and talking into his ear. "You forget...Golgotha's power will be mine..if only I had someone to share it with".

"But isn't that what you have Rook and Creed for?" He teased, kissing her neck lightly.

"Their like my children....there's only so much I can share with ones so young". Velvet giggeled at the kiss to her neck, her own lips delicatly placed by his ear.

"Mmmm, indeed." He snapped his head around to hear his name being called.

"Till next time..". Velvet kissed him on the mouth, a finger glidding down his handsome face, and then, like that, she was gone.

Drake shook his head to clear it. He stepped out from behind the tree. "Yes soldier?"

"We got a tag on the DNA samples."

Drake smiled. "Excellent. Who are they?"

Alex walked up with the information. "We have confirmed blood from three people, and one unknown female. Donnie Faustin, Lou and a priest at Golgotha church known only as Creed". She handed him the papers.

Drake took the papers and studied them. "Where are they now?"

Alex checked the information."The Donnie and Lou persons were comitted to a hospital about an hour ago with very bad injuries, I'm guessing they were the victims, as was maybe the priest, he is still missing, he might be dead".

Drake tapped his finger against his chin, then pointed to Martin. "Grab martin and meet me at teh hospital. We are going to visit these Lou and Donnie people."

Alex nodded and walked off to get Martin.

Hospital

Don was sat outside Lou's ward, he hoped she would be alright, he felt slightly responsible since ti was him who dragged her to the Park.

Sander sat opposite him.

Frankie paced the hallway, his face both apathetic and concerned at teh same time.

Don looked up at Frankie."Frankie..sit down..do you want me to get you a drink"? He stood up.

Frankie slid down the wall and sat on the floor. "No thanks. I don't think they allow beer in the hospital." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, making it stand on end. "What is taking them so long with her?"

"Their probably jus checking over everything and making sure she's all okay..don't worry". Don watched him slide down, he shifted in his chair.

"Excuse me...? Are one of you DOnnie Faustin?" A crisp military voice asked out. Drake stood there in his uniform looking at a paper.

Don looked up."Who's asking"? He eyed the military men with an untrusting gaze.

Martin and Alex stood besides Drake.

Drake coughed adn looked at Don. "The S.T.A.K. is asking, Mr. Faustin." He eyed Don up adn down, noting the cuts, bruises, and broken arm. "Where is Lou? I am assuming she is still amongst the living?"

Frankie stood up. "She's still in withthe doctors."

Don swapped between looks. "The S.T.A.K..who are you"? They didn't look like normal army uniforms, and as for the name, he'd never heard of them.

Sander sootd up, between them and Lou's room, he had the sort of look that suggested he'd kill them if they even tried to get past him.

Drake smiled gently. "We are a special armed force that was out investigating the attack in the park earlier tonight. Do you know anything about it?"

"Yeah...we were the ones being attacked". Don crossed his arms."So..I suppose you realise then that your enemies aren't exactly human"?

"Oh, they are human alright. Their DNA is teh exact same, but it's twisted to teh left instead of the right...." Drake said, then snapped his mouth shut as the door to the room opened.

Lou shuffled out looking dreary. She was wearing a loose shirt the hsopital gave her until the stitches in her chest came out. She looked around, then past Sander, a confused look on her face.

Sander placed a hand on her and pulled her back behind him.

"Really..they didn't seem to be restricted like us then". Don put his hand in his pocket, the other tignling slightly. "What do they want"?

Drake shrugged. "The same old stuff anyone with power wants. More power."

Lou just blinked and leaned against Sander.

"More power...they seem to have enough of it already..especially that green haired women". Don looked at Alex who was glaring holes into him.

Lou sneezed, turning her head away from Sander's back. She stared at Drake, who ignored her for the moment.

Frankie walked over and put his arm around her.

"What do you want with us..because I can't imagine you came to see if we were ok". Don glared at Alex, and then at Drake.

Drake glared back. "actualy, if we didnt come to see if you were alright, we wouldn't be here at all. We also need any information you can give us on the person who did this."

"People.." Lou corrected quietly.

Don nodded."Yes...people...there were three of them at the start, then one left the other two to kills us".

Drake proccessed the information, then started to take a step towards Lou to talk to her.

Don watched him like a hawk, but they seemed trustwrothy.

"Captain". Alex cut in."I've just been contacted by another hospital, they released a man matching the preists description about ten minutes ago".

Drake nodded. "alright, have them detain him for about a hlaf an hour." he turned around. "Miss Lou, and Mr. Faustin, I shall have to request you come with us to verify teh identity of the so called priest."

Don nodded."Ok...". He looked at Lou, wondering if she was alright with this, she seemed to have known the priest.

"Actualy, if you don't mind, Captain, i'm a little tired." lou said quietly. "I don't think I'll be of much help as drugged up as I am..."

"Pfft..get over yourself woman". Alex cut in, storming forward slightly. "You wont have to do much..just point him out..geez".

Don glared at Alex, what a bloody rude guy.

Lou pushesd past Sanders, fully intendign to murder Alex if Sanders, don and Frankie hadn't all stopped her. "And if I didn't know better, I'd say you WHERE a woman!" she spat out sourly.

Alex face went crazy, he went to leap at Lou, her temper was infamous. Martin grabbed Alex holding her back. "GAH..zhats like zee vorst insult for him ever....he hates vomen". He held the thrashing Alex back.

"Then there is a reason for it, isn't there?" Lou stepped back andwinced for a moment, putting a hand to her chest, then on her stomach.

"YOU FUCKING WHORE..I'LL KILL YOU". Matrin still held Alex tight, scared if he let him go that he'd actually kill Lou.

"CAPTAIN". Martin looked at Drake to stop Alex.

Sander just calmly held Lou back, gently so as not to hurt her.

Drake shot a look to Alex that told her to either calm down or be forcibly removed from the premises. "No miss Lou. only one of you is neccessary, though your presence would be highly requested. your blood was found closest to his."

Aelx stopped and crossed her arms, glaring at the ground, but she did as she was told.

"I'll go, either way..Lou..do you think you're up to it"? Don turned to Lou.

Lou sighed. "Sure."

Martin smiled and nudged Alex to stop pouting.

Don turned to Lou."I'll walk you back when we're done ok".

Frankie stepped in. "I'm driving her home afterwards."

Lou nodded and walked with the S.T.A.K to the car.

S.T.A.K safe house.

Creed sat in somewhat of a meeting room, he had been told he was needed for talking, but he wasn't sure what about.

Don walked with Lou, looking around.

Lou saw Creed and stopped walking.

Creed turned to her and smiled softly."Lou..I didn't expect to see you here..my word..what happened to you two, you both look like death". He seemed really concerned about them, he walked forwards.

Lou stood still. "Hello Father Creed. You don't look much better."

"I'm quite alright..maybe you should take a seat Miss.Lou, you look very pasty". Creed took out a seat for her, smiling and gesturing for her to sit down.

Lou nodded and sat, watching Creed closely.

Creed also say down, smiling pleasently."My what on earth happened to you, is this why I'm here, do you need my help, I'm not sure what I can do". He gave a hearty laugh and rubbed the back of his neck.

Lou rubbd her forehead tiredly adn looked at her watch. Its was close to three a.m. She sighed. "I'm actualy not sure, Father." she looked at Drake, who just mouthed. "Do you identify him?" Lou looked back and forth between Drake and Father Creed. She still had a bad feeling about Creed, seeing as how it still was not light outside, adnshe was still shaken from earlier. She slowly nodded to Drake.

Creed placed his hands on his lap, just smiling calmly and behaviouring in a very calm manner. "I do hope no one has been severly hurt". He looked at Drake, his green eyes were wide and caring, swimming with kindness.

Lou studied the Father, not fully trusting him. "Not to badly, at least..." She looked up at him. "No one died." She gave him a look that all but screamed she didnt trust him.

Creed just smiled, sort of confused by her suspicious looks, he twideled his thumbs nervously, wondering why she was being so hostile."That is good".

Lou stood up, finaly smiling. "Well then Father, have a good night. See you on sunday, perhaps." she said sfotly.

"Of course..we are having the local school children in to sing in the choir, we're raising some money for charity, I do hope you can your friends can attend". Creed smiled and did the cross with hsi fingers, giving Lou a quick blessing. "I do hope you return to full health soon".

A loud thumping can down the corridoors, the obvious sound of very VERY heavy booted feet hitting the strong wood. There was also the light sound of a little girl singing a nursery rhyme. An odd combo.

Lou hid behind Don and looked around, her hand absently resting on her stomach.

Drake raised his eyebrows and lead the two of them to s spot next to him.

Creed to raised an eyebrow at the loud noise, he looked around, preplexed by what exactly it was. "My word...". His eyes widened in horror as Jason walked into the room, ducking to fit under the doorframe.

Jason held in his hand the severed head of a Darker, he dropped it to the floor infront of Drake. AJ was on his back, smiling, hands resting on Jasons head, her chin on her hands. "We've finished".

DOn looked at the head, and then to the monster infront of him.

Drake's eye widened at the head onthe floor and looked away. "Aj, darling, must you have Jason kill them like that?"

Lou gasped and hid her face from teh severed head.

"But you said we had to kill him...". AJ began to tap her fingers on Jason's head, looking down at Drake. "And besides..that's the quickest way to kill them, isn't that right puppy". She nuzzeled the giant beneath her.

Jason just held up the giant machette for Drake to see, as if to imply decapitating them with it was the easiest way.

Don held Lou, covering her face with his arm, having to looka way aswell.

Lou bit her lip and buried her face deeper into Don's arm. "I want to go..." she half whimperd, half whispered.

Drake heard her and nodded to Jason that he could leave. "Miss Lou, we need to keep in contact with you, so if I could have your work number...?" Lou rattled it off, runnign out of the room. Drake wrote it down and stuck it in his pocket toplace inthe files later.

AJ waved goodbye as she left with Jason.

Don walked out the room with Lou, looking around at this place with disgust and horror. What kind of place was this? "Well..things sure have turned a little...bleak".

lou nodded and ran to Frankie, who was waiting outside of the buildign for them.

Don shivered a little as they were met with the cold. He hugged his coat tightly with his one good arm. "Frankie".

Frankie helped Lou into the car and half smiled at his cousin. he nodded with his head to the car. "Get in. I'll give you a ift home."

"Thanks". Don got in the passengers side, he did up his seat belt and looked down at his knees. He felt a little troubleled by what he had seen.

Lou reached forward adn put a soft hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him as Franie drove them all to the asylum adn let them in.
