Game Room Archive
Located on the second floor, the Game Room contains some traditional games, such as Billiards and Darts, as well as a plethora of boardgames from all sorts of times, and more than a few electronic systems, almost all of which are now out of batteries, and lifeless. There are even children's toys, like rocking horses, dolls and toy soldiers and the like. Notably MISSING from the room, should anyone care to dig through all the shelves, are any chess sets or playing cards of any kind.

Stepping his way into the room carefully, surveying it first in case something was going to jump out at them, Remy took a moment to look around before standing aside for Lyanth to enter. He doubted this was the place she was aiming for, unless those Moogle things happened to enjoy a bit of entertainment and needed some down time. Walking further into the room, Remy pushed a finger against the head of a rocking horse, allowing it to move back and forward on its perch.
Lyanth decided that it was really best to let this gentleman do what he wanted. She didn't like that he just brazenly walked into the middle of the room, with no care for the danger. But his connection with reality was a bit tenuous, and she didn't want to push him over the edge. She eyed the strange toys and gingerly leaned against the wall by the door.
"Any of this recognizable to ya?" Remy quizzed her as Lyanth entered the room. He continued his circuit, getting a feel for the space and what was within it. On that thought, he had another question he wanted Lyanth to answer. "What 'xcatly do these Moogles look like? They small enough to hide in this place or something?"
"Oh well, um, a Moogle is the size of a very young Hume child or an adult Tarutaru." Lyanth gestured with her hands to help Remy understand. "But they aren't very good at hiding because of their Pom Poms. That's part of why I, and most others, are so trusting of them. They depend on me and other Adventurers for protection."
"So... won't be hiding in here then,
hein?" Remy asked rhetorically, pushing a few items on the shelves around to see if anything was behind them. "What kind of games room don't have cards in it..." Muttering more to himself than to her, before asking louder. "Do you know this room?" It sure wasn't part of his home.
"No, and I'm sure if one was here, it would have come out from hearing our conversation. And I have not seen this room before, but it seems to fit with the rest of the house or city that we're in, so it's existence does not surprise me. Perhaps it is for the amusement of the locals." There were no Moogles in this room, and Lyanth feared in the whole building complex. They had to move on soon. "Does anything here interest you?"
"Not enough to keep me here." Remy answered. "Rather be back home. And ya seem far too relaxed for being in a place ya don't know. Ain't ya worried at all?" Continuing his path, he picked up one of the electronic games, flicking the power switch only to find it was dead. He dropped it back to the table it sat on. "Would think an adventurer would want to know where she be."
Lyanth held in a chuckle. "I've been to many a strange place. That's part of the joys of being an Adventurer! And like many of those places, this land, what I've seen of it, has a lot of the same basics. Rooms for every Adventurer, places of amusement, and from what I saw out the window, trees and sky and the rest of the natural world. Of course I would like to know where I am, but the absence of Moogles is far more concerning. One quest at a time." Lyanth wanted to reassure and calm Remy, and hoped that he would be willing to let her move quickly on to find the Moogles.
Staring at her for a long moment, Remy sighed then let out a chuckle. He wasn't sure if he liked this girl's view on life or not. Hell, part of it was similar to his own, just go wherever the wind took him, but the other part always liked a backup plan, something to fall back on if everything turned to shit. "
D'accord, lets do it ya way. Hell, might be fun." May as well run with it, until they hit the wall that is.
Wonderful! The Hume had finally truly come around, and now they could help the Moogles. But before Lyanth had a moment to suggest their next course of action, she was surrounded by the most strange sight. Huge white flames enveloped her vision and completely surrounded her. She went immediately to cast a defensive spell, but there was nothing to cast, just the emptiness and terror.

Well, that was the idea at least, but the sudden appearance of fire caused Remy's heart to jump into his throat, hands uselessly coming up to try and protect him from any damage.
