Insights on Paganism

There are many paths we can follow in mundane life, just as there are many religous paths we can follow in our spiritual lives. As Pagans we believe that all religous paths (whether Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, and so forth) ultimately lead back to the same source, the Divine Spirit. The ways we perceive the Divine Spirit, and the names we give to it, are the result of cultural differences, and therefore we all take different routes in our spiritual quest. However, we believe that this quest is for individual, and each person must find his or her own path.

Pagans have a particularly diverse number of sects. There are as many ways to approach Paganism as there are people within it. Finding your own true path involves a long search within yourself and without. Groups will pass on their particular teachings and viewpoints; these may coincide with how you think and would like to work, they may not. This is not to say that one way is more valid than another. You have to find what is true for you. Paganism is a religious impulse rather than a religious dogma.
