Julie and Julia; Julie Powell review

Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen

A lot of reviews talked about the character of Julie herself, how she's not a splendid person (she has a poor attitude, she throws fits a lot, and several other things). Although I agree, I have to say that it was truthful. And truth isn't always bad.

It was boring at times, and sometimes I struggled to read through it. For once, I enjoyed the movie better than the book itself. I suppose I was also tainted when I learned her second book is about her obsession with butchering (animals only, I hope) and the affair she has on her husband.

Overall... Both good and bad. All right. Not going to read again.
