I thought I would tell you what happened the night her parents died...
"Hey Dad, we are going to have to train some more tomorrow, we've been out here for hours and you have to get ready for dinner with mom." Kelly told her dad during their break from training, which caused him to look up at her from drinking water,
"Oh I think we can get in a little more training today." George Smith replied with a smile twisting his cap back onto his bottle and standing up. Kelly sighed,
"Dad, if you aren't ready before or by mom she'll get mad, and I know you don't want her to get mad at you on your anniversary do you?" Kelly said with a smirk standing up and stretching. George thought for a moment before answering,
"Yeah you're right, ok I'll go take a shower and get ready, and then you can take a shower after me so you won't be late for that birthday party tonight." George said putting his arm around his daughter and walking inside.
"Mom's still getting ready, and you look nice, oh let me do that dad." Kelly said 20 minutes later as she walked forward to help her dad with his tie.
"Thanks honey, I'm glad you know how to tie a tie, other wise I'd have to wear one of those cheap clip on ties." George said with a chuckle. Kelly smiled as she finished with the tie,
"There you go dad, all done." Kelly saw her mom come in,"Wow mom, you look beautiful." Kelly exclaimed as she saw her mom in a black dress wearing a diamond necklace, diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet, and black heels, George turned to his wife,
"Kelly's right dear, all the other women will be jealous." George said kissing his wife on the cheek, making her blush,
"Oh stop it you two, or I'll be red throughout dinner and everyone will think I have a fever or something." Jessica Smith said smiling at her daughter and husband,"Do you want us to drop you off at your friends house hun, or is someone picking you up?" Jessica asked. Kelly looked at her mother,
"Don't worry mom, Sally is picking me up." Kelly said looking in the mirror to make sure her hair looked ok.
"Sally, you mean Sally Johnson, I thought you guys weren't talking anymore." Jessica Said. Kelly looked at her mother,
"Yeah, but we made up." Kelly said as a horn sounded outside,"That'
s Sally, have a nice dinner, love you." Kelly said to her parents giving them both a kiss on the cheek.
"We love you too Kelly." Jessica and George said together kissing their daughter and smiling,"Have fun at the party." they said before Kelly grabbed her present and went out the door.
*Later That Night*
"Hey Kelly, there is a cop at the door looking for you." Sally said walking up to Kelly at the party, Kelly looked at Sally,
"A cop, I wonder why there is a cop looking for me." Kelly said. Sally shrugged,
"I don't know, he said he needs to talk to you though." Sally said looking slightly worried. Kelly nodded and left Sally and went to the front door and stepped out to see a police officer standing there.
"Kelly Smith?" The police officer asked looking at Kelly. Kelly nodded,"I need to talk to you, would you please sit down?" Kelly started to feel worried and sat down on a bench on the porch,
"I-I didn't do anything wrong did I?" Kelly asked curiously.
"No, I have some bad news for you." The officer said looking at her sadly before continuing,"Your parents have been in a car accident, I'm sorry but they didn't make it." Kelly felt like her heart was stuck in her throat, she felt like there was lead in her stomach,
"T-T-They Are D-D-Dead?!" She half sobbed have yelled,"No!THEY CAN'T BE DEAD!THEY CAN'T BE!" She screamed into the silent night, Sally had opened the door and everyone had heard the bad news,"NO! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!" Kelly screamed falling to her knees, Sally rushed to her friend and hugged her,"NO!NO!NO!NO!" Kelly said over and over until she finally broke down in sobs.
Kelly sat up in her bed crying, I can't believe I had that dream again, that is the fifth time this week, I wonder why I'm dreaming about that night, it's been six years already, I didn't even dream about it after their death. She thought as she got up and went into her Kitchen, she sighed heavily as she looked at the clock on the wall,"It's five in the morning." She said to the almost empty room, she lived alone in a one bedroom apartment, she had left all of her friends in Canada and had no time to make new ones, and she didn't really trust people all that much, because only two weeks after her parents had died her 'friend' Sally had stolen her mother's diamonds and had tried to pawn them, luckily she was able to catch her before she actually sold them, and her other friends stopped being her friend because she was always training or working, but she thought she was better off with out them.
