My sweet little budgie

Kiwiki (originaly Kiwi) was a bird that was bought by a friend that I hand raised and made tame. He was a sweet little blue budgie that use to rock around his cage head banging and whistling whenever you'd put on the song 'Bodies' by Drowning Pool. He was also in love with his mirror whom I later named Ted (I know, it's almost impossible for me to have straight pets >.<.) He was my little birdy who would always me you that look of WTF are you doing whenever I had forgotten my house key and hadto climb thru my window. He was my sweetie.

Kiwi and Ted

Kiwi and his mirror ted had a 'special' type of relationship to say the least, which I slowly witnessed growing whenever he started headbanging.
He would sit infront of his mirror, chirping and kissing his mirropr and then he'd pull away as if he was blushing >.<.

But, as with all relationships, they'res wasn't all sunshine and rose petals.

They would have their piffs, like the time that he fell in, love with a hawk outside for about a week until he realized that he might eat him (I'm not sure if that helped or hurt the situtations >.<) but either way it kept it from being said out loud (I still caught him glancing though.)

Their piffs would usually have Kiwi screaming his head off at the mirror for about five minutes while running back and forth on his perch. After which he'd go to the opposite side of the cage and would 'ignore Ted'. That usually lasted all of ten seconda before he'd start looking over his mirror at Ted and then quickly look away as if he'd been caught.

After reapeating this for about a half an hour, he'd slowly keep doing it as he inched ever closer and closer back to Ted. Until he got back over there. Then he half fluff up, start chirping, kissing the mirror and blushing again.

*Wash, Rinse, Repeat about ten times a day*


*Note: I still have Ted, mainly because I promised Kiwi that I'd always look after him.*


"3/10/05...... Kiwi, our lovable little 'stripper' bird passed away.. He partied a little too hard this time, and i regret to say that said party was his last. At least he went out doing what he loved. We miss you Kiwi.. our mornings just are not the same without your high pitched bird verison of "Bodies" (drowning pool) and your crazy antics. Kiwi leaves behind his husband, Ted the Mirror; and his buddy Picabo the Bunny. We love you and miss you greatly Kiwi... you've gone to that great 24 hour bar in the.. uh.. wherever.
