History: Lady Ruaera Nightwing hides her past, doesn't like to talk about her past, but she does seem to hate or distrust both men and women. She, in the past, has struck a man for questioning about her past. During her travels, she has become friends with a gryffin, which she has named Shadow Wing, for at night he seems to move like the shadows around him, and of a wild mare she has named Celina.
Other: The past she wishes not to speak of: Lady Ruaera was never always that, a lady. Ruaera grew up never knowing who her parents were, or of her true rank in society. Ruaera was rised in by a family that treated her as a servant/slave, but she loved them any ways because they were the only 'family' she knew. When she was only 6 years old, she began to be used by both the man and woman of the family in the way of sex, and when the family's only son turned of age, she began to be sent to his room at night to be used by him as well. Ruaera believed that this was normal, until she was 14 years old, when she over hear the whole family speaking from the main floor of the house, hearing them from her attic room through a telepathic ability that was slowly coming through. She heard the family speak of how she was a simple child that they could easily use to make a lot of money off of having men and women pay them to have sex with her. This was the first time she has killed anyone. After she had 'left' that home, she began to travel around, exercising her abilities and training them. She would also kill those she deemed unworthy of life, either believing or seeing them abuse children in a way that reminded her of how she grew up.

Years later, after traveling great distances and seeing many places, as well as killing many people, Ruaera came across a small kingdom whose rulers looked similar to her. In fact they were her parents, and she had a brother, older by the way he looked. She could feel that they were her parents, but she hated them. How could they abandon her? How could they have such great lives, and her not? Why? Ruaera didn't want to see them or go near them, out of hatred and out of fear that they would do the same to her as the other family had. She began to travel around the reign, coming back to the city every few decades. During one of the trips back to the city, Ruaera heard that the king had died having gone off to battle, and that the queen had died of heart ache. Her brother was the new ruler. She still couldn't go to him, she didn't trust him, just as she distrusted all men and women. She was fine with the children til that turned of age, and that's when they were added to her invisible list of people she distrusted and hated.

She left the reign, and hasn't been back in many decades. When she had been there, she had hear the name Nightwing, the name being the name of the reign and of the ruling family. She has since taken the name and become Lady Ruaera Nightwing. When she is questioned about her name and whether his is of relations to the Nightwings, Ruaera never answers.
