2007-02-04 [M. P. Ness]: *Shalon woke with a start...though not a frightful one...
He was just up before he realized he was, and he sat up fully as he caught his bearings, finding himself in a room he didn't quite recognize, considering he'd been so exhausted when he'd arrived, that he'd just crashed on the bed without bothering to disrobe or remove anything but the great thinblade and its unique harness at his back. He hadn't even crawled under the covers.
He just sprawled, and stayed that way, moving nary a muscle for several days.
But, now that he was awake...he found himself starving, and remembering all that had brought him to be here in this strange bed and mostly barren chamber....

It was dark in this room, but he could see well enough, for one wall bore a pair of high arched glass doors, opening out onto a little moonlit balcony and a lush garden beyond.

His stomach growled, and his limbs were weary from lack of sustainance. He remembered he'd brought a few fruits with him from the great hall, but he knew it wouldn't be enough to satisfy him.
Thus, he rose in full, started munching his sweet snacks, and meandered out to see if he might find his way back to the hall to get a bite to eat...

2007-02-05 [M. P. Ness]: *~He only slipped in for a moment, leaving his door ajar as he fetched his thinblade, fastening its interesting harness about his body, that it might hang comfortably and naturally in a semi-lateral fashion at the low of his back. handle at his left out beyond his shoulder by far, above the handle of his rapier at his hip...
Then, he slipped out again, closing the barrier quietly, so as not to wake anyone else...
Thus, he returned to the garden-view balcony.
