Ankoù, the God of Death, has lain asleep for centuries, ever since the War of the Gods 10,000 years ago. After all that time, most no longer remember the god, and even fewer remember what he did.
However, not all of those who do recall are good - in fact, most are monsters who once served under the Death God during his reign of terror. They have also been sleeping, awaiting the day when their master should rise again, and take control over the Realm of Leria.
As for Leria itself - the people are happy, and blissfully ignorant. They do not remember Ankoù - they don't even remember the heroes who saved them from him. And they're running out of time...
For dark things have started crawling from the darkest corners of the world, things that whisper in the minds of mortals, things that slither in the dark, and things that feast on mortal flesh...
And Ankoù is stirring...
As the people of Leria become aware of their impending doom, most choose to flee, and head towards the Mountains of Ashleria - but they are just boxing themselves in, and are becoming in even more danger...
Still, there are those who choose to fight, and have gathered within the Kingdom of Kaltia, mostly within the city of Tinik, the capital. They call themselves the Leria Resistance, and most, if not all of the men are willing to risk their lives to save the world they love.
But the Death Army grows ever stronger, and even some of Leria's people have gone to the dark side. And with each new ally that joins, the Death God grows stronger, and continues to awaken...
Leria is running out of time...
