Molly followed alongside with Augustine. It was clear that she was still very bitter towards him and what he did, but what did he want her alone for?

Augustine stopped and looked at her. "You're doing this to punish me? Aren't you? You know how I feel about humans! For fuck's sake, in my first pack we killed dogs. Killed them. That's how much they disgust me, Molly."

"Of course it's not to punish you." Molly said, That would be too light. "I was hoping you wouldn't find out and make a big scene...unfortunately that didn't go as planned." Then again, nothing ever did. "They won't be dogs, I assure you. This is just temporary? Is that what you wanted to talk about? Because I have no other choice, Augustine."

"The..." Augustine couldn't remember Kenny's name. He nodded his head back towards the den. "The stupid one offered to take 'em. Why not just do that?"

"You already answered that one." Molly said, regarding Kenny's intelligence. Of course she didn't exactly agree that Kenny was stupid, maybe it would make Augustine drop the matter. "And like I said, that would only be a temporary solution." She glanced at him, "You would rather the pups be abandoned in the den for a predator to snatch up then leave them in a human home to live out a long life?" She sat down on a grassy patch, "You seriously have issues."

Augustine's face scrunched with pain and he paced anxiously, wanting desperately to think of some other option or to at least get some power back. He couldn't stand being so helpless, and with the damn pack giving his sass and Molly ignoring him... He knew he deserved it, which was the worst thing. That meant he couldn't complain. "Are you sure the humans wont hurt them?" he finally asked.

"Humans love puppies. Well...most do." Molly explained. "Tabor is going to come with me into town. He's been through there before and might know of someone who could care for them. I'm going to make completely sure they are in a nice family, maybe one with human kids." She was forcing down everything to hold a 'normal' conversation with Augustine. If he pissed her off even in the slightest, she would lose it.

Augustine tensed all over, trying to contain the disgust of imagining his children on leashes, eating kibbles and bits. "What if... What if we die. They're gonna be raised by humans..." that wasn't so much of an argument as it was a horrific out loud thought.

"Don't assume anything." Molly said before a thought crossed her mind. Would he? Her ears perked before she asked, "If something happens to me and the pack. Would you go get them?"

Augustine perked up, alarmed. "Uh-" he hesitated and then nodded. "You'd probably rather they stayed with humans. What with all my cussing."

"Your cussing- right." Molly said, mildly disappointed. She kept mentally telling herself that she didn't give a shit about Augustine or what he did, but his recent concern about her pups made her very skeptical. "You are so hell bent on not letting them live with humans...as if you give a shit. Yet, if the time came, you would give up and leave them to be dogs? A bit hypocritical, don't you think?" She paused wondering whether or not to say her next bit, "Seems to me like you get off from bitching and making peoples lives a living hell but when it comes down to actually doing the right thing, you run away." Those last three words stung as they exited her mouth.

Augustine was about to explain how he meant he would take care of the pups and that he was just being a wise ass when she finished up her rant. His ears folded back with surprise and he wore an offended expression. It was true though, he couldn't snap at her. He wanted to explain himself, but he couldn't. "... Fuck it. Do whatever," he said, though, he didn't entirely mean it. He cared a lot more than he let on, but Augy was Augy. He started to walk off. Considering they weren't sharing dinner, he figured he'd go track some down for himself.

Molly stood up but didn't follow. Did he really have absolutely nothing to say about his puppies or about what he did to her? He he just walked out on her when she found out she was pregnant? No apology in the slightest? Her ears lowered and her voice was empty, "Do you regret it?"

He kept walking. He wasn't in the mood to talk about this. "Too hungry to talk," he said, knowing it was the lamest excuse ever.

That was infuriating. Molly's throat growled lowly as she turned around and stormed back to the den. Her instinct was to start yelling again, but that would only bring her down to his maturity level.
