There was no answer for a moment from Felix, then all Rocky heard was a choked hiccup. Felix was trying so hard not to break down again. "I'm so sorry..." he finally managed to whisper.

Grima gently rolls him back over focusing the tip of her tongue to stroke his shaft.

Tim holds him close. "I'm so sorry baby..."

Rocky was silent for a moment. "So am I..." He mutters at last before hanging up. He gave the babies to Felix's parents, explaining to them what was going on and apologizing that he couldn't be with Felix if he wanted someone else. If he loved two people he was best to go with the second because if he loved the first so much, he wouldn't have fallen for the second. He flew home, explained to Roxanna, packed his things, left his cell phone and any form of communication, and refused to tell anyone where he was going. He walked out the door and flew away.

Daemon curled up slightly, chewing on his lip. He wouldn't last long at this rate.

Dray nuzzled his cheek. "Don't be sorry, babe..."

Unfortunately, that really wasn't the case. Felix was a free, loving spirit. He never loved anyone of the people he was in a relationship with more than another. Everyone was beautiful and had wonderful souls in his mind... but Rocky was different. He loved Rocky more than everything and everyone. "R-Rocky please don-" The phone hung up, leaving the orange cat all alone to his already lonely thoughts. He needed someone to hug him and pet him and tell him it would be okay... He wanted Rocky to be there.

Grima usea her fingers to pin him down. "Ah-ah, you naughty thing." She purrs softly, licking his shaft carefully.

Tim murred and cooed softly.

Roxanna ran into the waiting room. "Felix!" She ran to him, collecting him in her arms, the stone on her cheeks wet and looked ready to break off. "Oh Felix..." She cried against his neck.

Daemon whined slightly and bucked his hips. "G-grima, I'm close...."

Dray nuzzled his hair. "I love you.. and I'm sorry..."

Felix looked up, a fresh onslalught of tears gracing his face. He wrapped his arms around her and curled into a tiny ball.

Grima licks firmly caressing his hips with her thumbs.

"I love you too baby..." Tim nuzzles him.

Roxanna sits down and pulls him into her lap, holding him tight.

Daemon gripped onto a lock of her hair, moaning loudly as he came.

Dray pet his hair gently and looked up at his dad. "You're disappointed?"

Ashton chuckled and shook his head. "No. I'm not. I just wish you'd be careful."

Felix hiccuped loudly, his face buried in her chest.

Grima smiles and licks his tiny form clean.

Tim kisses his cheek gently.

Roxanna holds him tight. "He's gone Felix..." She murmurs.

Daemon panted softly and nuzzled her gently. "You're amazing.."

Dray chuckled softly. "You'll be the death of me, boy." Ashton shook his head.

"I know.." Felix managed to mumble. "I know..."

Days passed.. Then months.. And eventually a year. Dray, his family, and Tim all went to Scaris for a vacation. Malandra's father had returned and he and Ashton seemed to be getting along fine. Dray had gone out for a walk and was in a market place, when he caught a glance at familiar blonde braided hair. He walked over and placed a hand on the figure's shoulder. "... Rocky?"

Daemon went through his drawers, grumbling to himself. Grima would be over any moment now and he couldn't find the gift he got her for her birthday. He looked up and saw Kuro with a box in his mouth. "You little brat.." He growled and proceeded to chase the cat around the room.

Rocky looked over his shoulder and nearly dropped the paints he was using to paint the scene before him. "D-Dray?" He stood up and hugged him tight. "It's good to see you!" Rocky looked good, he looked like he was well fed and in shape. "What're you doing here?"

Grima fixed her little top hat on her head band before knocking on the door, a soft smile on her lips.

Dray smiled brightly and threw his arms around the gargoyle, picking him up and spinning him. "My god! It's been forever!" He laughed, putting him down. "The family and I are on vacation... So this is where you disappeared to?"

There was a struggling sound from inside, then a yelp and a tumble down the stairs, silence, a meow, silence, then the door was opened. Daemon was in a suit, his hair tied back and smiled warmly, the cat on his shoulder. "Hey you."

"Yeah. Um... How is Felix and Sasylia?" He asked softly, he'd been so distraught since he'd left, he missed Felix so much.

Grima smiles. "Hey hun. Everything ok?" She looks around.

Dray's arms slowly fell from around Rocky and went to his sides. He looked at the ground. "... I'd love to tell you that they are great or something positive... But that would be a lie. Felix couldn't really handle it when you left. Sasylia was in a coma for a month and then came by to see him. He hardly eats, he quit his job... They only thing he actively did was learn to lucidly dream. He said that's the only time he sees you... He spends almost all of his time sleeping. Sasylia took the kids and Moon and Jag take care of them when she's at work but..." He sighed. "Roxanna even tried dressing up like you to see if he'd fall for it but he just smiled and told her she doesn't smell like you, then went back to sleep."

"Yup. Everything's fine. Someone was just being a brat." he looked at Kuro, who mewled and stuck out his tongue. He led her inside. "Come."

Rocky's heart broke. "Dray... what should I do? He loves her and I don't want to come between them... I missed him so much, I still love him, but where do I fit in? I'm selfish, Dray I have to have him to myself... if I could find someone for Sasylia maybe things might be ok, but..." He sighs and sits down. "They mate for life..." Rocky began to cry into his hands.

Grima giggles and takes his hand, kissing him softly. "I missed you baby."

The dragon took a seat next to him, wrapping a loving arm around his shoulders. "Sasylia's mate left her. And then she went after Felix. There is a chance of you finding someone else for her... If not, then try to be with Felix. You don't have to be with her, just him." Dray nuzzled the stone boy. "If it makes you feel any better, he loves you the most... He's said so himself. If he didn't he wouldn't be like this. I think you should go to him. At least try to fix him."

Daemon kissed her back tenderly. "I missed you too, darling... I'm lost when you go with Thanatos to learn to be a reaper."

Rocky shook his head. "I don't share well Dray... I can't stand to watch another person's hands on him." Rocky choked back tears. "I-I'll go back to him..." He gathers his things. "But I can't be with him..." He spreads his wings, making the long flight back to Felix's bedroom window. "Felix..." He whispers.

Grima shook her head. "I don't even want to talk about that...."

Dray nodded. "Then just explain that to him.." He said softly and let him go. He made his way back to the hotel and stretched.

Felix's lights were off. His room was a mess with paint and torn up canvases and papers filled with unfinished sketches of what looked like the same two people. The posters on his walls were gone and so were the glow in the dark stars that once lit up his ceiling. He lay on his unmade bed and even in the dim lighting of the outside, Rocky could see his state. His bones were showing under his skin and his tail was tucked in between his legs. His ears lay flat against his head as he slept and his cheeks were freshly tearstained.

Daemon scooped her into his arms and kissed her tenderly. "Alright... I have a surprise for you."

Rocky's eyes filled with tears, he jumped back out the window and flew to their favorite food place, ordering and returning with the food. He set it up on the floor after clearing a spot. "Oh Felix..." He whispers, sliding his arms under the feline and scooping him into them, carrying him to the food. "Felix..." He whispered in his ear, kissing the top of his head. "Felix, wake up... I brought food from the black dragon..."

Grima blushes and clings to him. "You do? what's the occasion?" She teased him.

Not even the smell of food woke the cat up. He did, however, curl up into Rocky's arms. "Mmm... You're so good to me.." He mumbled.

Daemon brought her into his bedroom and placed her down on the chair in front of his vanity. "Your birthday was yesterday and we weren't able to see each other.. Did you get the roses?"

"Felix hun wake up..." He nuzzles the top of his head. "You need to eat, or it's going to get cold..." He whispers softly.

Grima points to her hair where several of the purple roses were stuck into her up do. "I did, thank you baby."

Felix whimpered lightly. "Nu... I don't want to.. If I wake up, you're guna leave again..."

He smiled warmly and kissed her temple. "Close your eyes." when she did, he slipped a beautiful black and purple diamond necklace around her pale neck.

Rocky sighs. "If you don't wake up I'm gonna leave again... wake up Felix, please... I'm tired and flew here from Scaris..."

Grima gasped, blushing. "Oh my goodness, Daemon."

Felix looked confused, then slowly opened his eyes. He looked up at Rocky, dark circles under his eyes and managed to smile in disbelief. "Heh... Scaris was good to you."

Daemon smiled warmly. "Happy Birthday."

"Oh Felix..." He kisses his forehead and holds him there. "What have I done to you? I'm so sorry..." Tears dripped onto Felix's head. "Can you ever forgive me?" He cries softly.

Grima stands up and hugs him tight. "You didn't have to hun."

Felix kept the smile, but tears quickly filled his eyes and the smile faded when he realized that Rocky was actually there. He wrapped his skinny arms tight around the stone chest he loved so much. "I should be asking the same thing..." He lifted Rocky's chin. "Please stay... I know I'm in love with you... Because for once in my life, reality was better than my dreams. And then you left and I could only handle dreams... You can swear at me, yell, scream, hit me if you really want to..." He moved onto his knees and wrapped his arms around his shoulders, burying his face in the crook of Rocky's neck. "... Just please.. Don't leave me again..."

Daemon nuzzled her shoulder and cuddled her in his arms. "I wanted to. It pales in comparison to your beauty, but I thought you might like it.."

Rocky shakes his head, he could never. "I'm not going anywhere, but... I can't be with you, Felix..." Rocky caresses his hair. "You belong to Sasylia and I could never take you from her."

Grima blushes. "All I really wanted for my birthday was you."

"I was yours first..." Felix said, choking on tears. "I didn't even let her touch me while I was conscious... I felt horrible." He pulled Rocky's shirt off and traced his fingers over his chest and the crack in his shoulder. "... Scaris was really good to you... Heh.. Wish I could have said the same." He kissed Rocky tenderly, unzipping his pants. "You haven't touched me since Sasylia got me pregnant... Please just give me this... Let me be close to you again.."

Daemon blushed and smiled. He knelt down and took her hand, kissing the back sweetly. "And now you have me... Tell me, my lady. What would you like of me?"

Rocky takes his hands. "Felix, stop... you need to eat, please, for me, just eat..." He pulls his shirt back on and zips his pants back up. "Behave yourself or I will leave again...." He turns Felix to sit in his lap, Felix's back to his chest.

Grima blushes hotly. "Baby... I missed you so much..." She pulls him, close, kissing him passionately.

Sasylia slithered in from work, going to the couch and falling on it, tired. She worked as a children's photographer and chasing kids all day tired her out so badly.

Felix's heart ached as Rocky denied him again, but he obeyed and stared at the food. ".. But I'm not hungry.." he mumbled, seeming to be slipping in and out of consciousness.

Daemon gave a devil's smirk and kissed back deeply. He picked her up, carrying her over to the bed and laying her down. "Did I tell you that you look divine?"

As Sasylia sat down, a mess of black and blond hair hung upside down in front of her. "Hi!" Basil smiled bright, hanging from the ceiling.

"Felix, you need to eat..." He picked up a pair of chopsticks and picked up a crab sushi roll, holding it out to him.

Grima blushes more. "You're pretty handsome yourself."

Sasylia gasps and jumps, falling off the couch. "Oww...oh, my tail..." She groans bringing the tip of her tail up she frowns at the crooked tip and winces as she snaps it back into place.

Felix didn't have the energy to argue eating, let alone that it was crab and he didn't eat any sort of meat. He opened his mouth and bit it, chewing and swallowing, then nuzzling Rocky's neck.

Daemon chuckled and kissed her jaw with the utmost tenderness. "I may be handsome, but the gods themselves envy your beauty..." He took her hand and kissed it gently. "For what is more beautiful than death? The gods envy death. They envy it because life is limited, because any moment may be a person's last. Everything is more beautiful because they're doomed. They will never be lovelier than are when they die.. Because Death has welcomed them in a sweet embrace. Death's beauty made them beautiful." He kissed her deeply.

Basil squeaked and in his panic, let go of the ceiling and landed on his head. "Ow.. Are you okay?" He scrambled up.

Rocky picks up a bowl of miso soup and a spoon, he stirs it and lifts a spoonful up to Felix's lips.

Grima blushes and holds him close. "Oh hun... you take my breath away..." She kisses him back deeply, her wings fluttering.

Sasylia nods and looks at him. "Who are you?"

Felix eats slowly and quietly, looking more conscious by the moment. When he was done, he turned around and wrapped his arms around Rocky's shoulders, burying his face in his neck.

"And you hold mine just out of reach, making me beg for more." He purred, slipping his hands up her thighs.

He smiled and held out his hand. "Basil. I'm one of Serval's band mates. You must be Sasylia."

Rocky rubs his back and nibbles left overs. "There now... feel a bit better?" He murmurs softly to him.

Grima shivers as his fingers caress her thigh highs. She wore a sexy corset, thong and garter under her pretty dress. "Oh Daemon..." She sighs in arousal.

Felix shrugged a little and kissed his neck. "Please have me.." He mumbled, sliding his fingers up Rocky's shirt and over his chest.

Daemon kissed her neck tenderly and slid her dress awake, raising a brow at the under clothing. He smirked. "Lovely..." He purred.

Rocky takes a hold of Felix's wrists. "Please, stop... I told you already, I won't take you from Sasylia, even though she took you from me, I could never put her in that kind of pain...."

Grima giggles cutely. "You like?"

Sasylia nods. "Yeah I am... unfortunately..." She murmurs, still hating herself, and was only alive now to take care of Felix and the babies, since she'd accidentally chased Rocky off.

New tears slid down his face. "I'm not with Sasylia, Rocky... Her and I barely even talk anymore... Please stop denying me.." he begged.

"I love.." He chuckled and kissed her chest.

Basil scooted closer. "It's really nice to meet you. Serval says a lot of nice things about you.."

"You are with her, she works all day to take care of you and the kits..." Rocky caresses Felix's tears away. "You love her..." That wrenched his heart to say.

Grima giggles cutely and arches to his lips. "Mmmm... you're so warm..."

Sasylia looks away. "I don't deserve praise..."

"I love everyone!" Felix said, looking hurt. "You know that! You know that I love every single being, normie or not! But I've only ever been IN LOVE with you!"

"It's because you make the flames of hell rise in my heart." he purred, slowly slipping off the thong.

"I think you do.." he smiled sweetly.

"You are in love with her too..." Rocky replies softly.

Grima blushes hotly and nuzzles her cold face into his neck.

Sasylia shakes her head. "I'm a horrible person..." She leans her head back and puts her arm over her eyes. "I don't deserve Felix, I've destroyed him... I don't even deserve to live..." She sniffled.

"No." He growled, more out of helplessness than anything. "I love her. I love her because she is the father of my children and I love her because she's actually a wonderful person... But I'm not in love with her.. Not like I am with you."

Daemon slid a hand between her legs, rubbing her slowly. He kissed her collarbone and jaw, loving the feel of her skin.

Basil frowned and scooted over to her. "That's not true... Everyone deserves to live.."

"That doesn't matter, she's in love with you... She needs you, you are hers... I can not take you from her..." Rocky repeats.

Grima gasps and moans loudly. "Oh babe..."

"Not me, I've destroyed Felix's life..." Sasylia cries softly.

"And I need you. You are mine and you can't just leave me alone.." He sobs lightly.

Daemon rubbed his fingers to her clit, nibbling on her ear.

Felix shook his head, shaking violently against him. "Stay forever.." He whimpered pathetically, looking up at him with red and tear filled orange eyes.

Daemon kissed down her body, gently scratching his nails over her white skin. "So sweey.."

"I don't think you should erase yourself.." Basil petted her hair. "I think you should try to find someone new.."

Rocky took his face in both hands. "Baby, I can't..." Tears began to rim the gargoyle's pretty blue eyes.

Grima shudders. "Baby, take me..."

"No one wants me..." She cried softly.

"You can... You just won't..." the cat hiccuped, slowly breaking again. "Don't stay if you're just going to leave... It'll just hurt that much more." He got up shakily and went back over to his bed, falling onto his side.

Daemon glanced up and smirked, crawling up and kissing her deeply. He squirmed out of his clothes, gently wrapping her legs around his waist.

"You don't know that.." He cooed.

Rocky scoops him into his arms and holds him close. "I'm not going back to Scaris, I'm just going to go home in a couple days..."

Grima gives his hips a little squeeze.

"Yes I do..." She sobs. "I'm the worst being in existence..."

Felix wanted to pushed him away, but just curls into him. "And when you go home, I'll sleep and you'll be right here again..."

Daemon chuckled and kissed her gently, slowly pushing into her.

Basil kissed her cheek. "Not true... You made a mistake... Everyone's allowed to make mistakes.."

Rocky puts his face in Felix's neck and just breaks into sobs. "You think this is easy for me? To know that you are in love with the woman who raped you? You had her here, caring for you, working for you, taking care of the babies while I rotted alone in Scaris, barely making a buck from my art..."

Grima clings to him, clawing him lightly. "Oh gods..."

"It's not just a little mistake, I destroyed him!" She stands up, taking his hand and pulling him upstairs and into Felix's room. "Look at hi- uh... Rocky..." She sunk to what would be her knees, tears slid down she cheeks as she stared at them, her tired eyes closed as a sad smile graced her lips. She was useless once more. She turned and slithered from the room. She went to the nursery and kissed the little 1 year olds then slithered out the front door silently.

Felix was about to snap at Rocky, then saw Sasylia. He didn't know what to say to her. He shoved him off once the snake left and glared. "I told you, I'm not in love with her. A year ago, your exact question was "You love her, don't you?". And I didn't lie, I told you the truth. I love her. I never said I was IN love with her." He walked back over to his bed, flopping back down. "I'll only ever be in love with you." he mumbled.

Daemon growled softly, licking up her neck as he hilted himself. "Nnn..."

Basil squeaked and followed, his eyes widening at Rocky. He looked at Felix, then followed the snake quickly. He grabbed her hand. "Wait, Sasylia.."

Rocky looks hurt when he was shoved away. "Apparently you don't want to be in my arms any ways...." He walks over to the window. "Maybe they need and artist in Rotmania..."

Grima rocks her hips. "Bite me, lover..."

Sasylia pauses, not looking at him. "No, I don't have to wait anymore... he has Rocky back..."

"I want to be in your arms forever." He said, shaking still. "But you won't even look at me like you use to."

Felix propped himself on his elbow and looked back at the gargoyle. "Then why aren't you here, laying down with me?" he asked softly.

Daemon's skin had goosebumps at the hiss and bucked deeply. He pulled his teeth back, licking over the mark. "Mm... Grima.." he purred.

"End yourself.." Basil frowned.

"Because you shoved me away, you don't want to be in my arms..."

Grima shivers and claws him lightly.

Sasylia hung her head. "I'm not needed anymore, I can't live with myself... I hate myself..."

"Just shut up and get over here." Felix said softly. He wasn't in the mood to argue. He wanted Rocky to cuddle and love him.

Daemon hissed in pleasure at her claws. "Harder.." He whispered, rolling his hips smoothly.

"You are needed... Those kids need you... And there's someone out there for you." Basil whispered

Rocky gets up and walks over, climbing into bed just like he used to, pulling Felix into his arm, holding him close.

"You too baby..." She drags her claws down his back harder.

"No they don't need me, they have Rocky and Felix, I've said it to Felix, I'll tell you now... There is no room for me in their happy family..." She pulls away and continues to leave.

Felix smiled a little and curled up tight to him. "I'm kinda jealous, you know.." He mumbled.

Daemon growled and slammed in harder, kissing her deeply and digging his nails into her hips.

Basil didn't let her go. Instead, he held her hand and walked with her. "That's not exactly fair.. And why not make a happy family with someone else?"

"why's that?" Rocky looked at him.

Grima screams out in pain and pleasure. "Oh yes..."

"I'm tired of looking, my first mate was killed, it was eight years of pain from lack of mating before I snapped and went after Felix... I can't keep looking and hurt someone else..."

Felix brushed his fingers over his chest. "Scaris was the first place on my list of places I wanted to go when I graduate.." He didn't say it with spite or hate. He was glad Rocky got to enjoy himself.

Daemon snarled lightly, biting at her collar bone and thrusting faster.

"Just... Don't go after someone who's taken.." Basil caressed her cheek.

Rocky nuzzles him. "Maybe we can go back someday..."

Grima bucks against him. "Oh gods I love you!"

She pushes his hand away. "You think I meant to do it?"

Felix nodded and kissed his chest gently. "... I missed you..."

Daemon rams his hips deeply, moaning loudly against her neck. "I love you too!"

Basil held her still. "No, no, no... But, I mean... You can't mate for life with someone if the other person doesn't want to.." he brushed her hair away from her face. "You can find love.."

Rocky nuzzles the top of his head. "I missed you too..." He whispers.

Grima thrusts against him.

"I didn't mean for it to happen! I lost my mind!" She pulls his hands away. "No, I can't, I won't... I won't infect another life with my poisonous life..." She slithers away.

Felix kissed his neck sweetly, missing the taste of his skin.

Daemon leaned down, sucking on her nipple, bucking faster.

Basil follows quickly, pouncing on her from behind. He nuzzled her cheek gently. "I don't think you're poisonous."

Rocky shudders. "Oh Felix..." He whispers, his hands shaking. "N-no..." He grabs his arms. "We can't..." He swallows, damn his morals.

Grima clenches tight. "I'm gonna..." She moans loudly.

Sasylia loses balance and falls forward. "OOf!"

The cat grabbed his wrists and pinned him down, straddling his lap. "Please stop denying me..." he mumbled.

"Do it..." He purred in her ear, slipping a hand down to pinch her clit.

Basil squeaked loudly, his head moving past hers and smacking off the pavement.

Daemon slowed his thrust, then eventually stopped. He panted softly, licking and healing his bite marks.

Basil looked at her and wrapped his scaled arms around her. "I don't mind..." he whispered.

"When you are mine to have..." He kisses Felix's temple.

Grima shudders. "Let them scar baby, let the world see I am taken..."

Sasylia looks at him. "What?" Her eyes red from crying.

"I am yours.. I'm always yours... I told you, Sasylia and I aren't together." Felix moved his head away. He hated this loving affection the Rocky gave, only to tell the cat they aren't together.

Daemon looked up at her with those burning red eyes and smirked. "Only if you mark me too.."

Basil caressed the tears from her face. "I didn't really think you'd recognize me.. I mean, I was just a servant boy..."

"Felix, you are together, stop trying to deny it..." Rocky slowly stands up, running his fingers though his long golden locks.

"I would love to, where at and in what shape?" She licks his jaw.

Sasylia leans into his gentle touch, she closed her eyes, she remembered that touch, but who? He mind transported her back.

Sasylia sat on her mate's bed, a blanket in her hands, her face in the soft, warm folds of the warmth blanket she used to share with her mate Madeline. She sobbed into the folds. Basil slid his padded fingers over her tail, leaning down and kissing her deeply.

Felix nodded and got up, his knees shaking a little. He pulled on his clothes and helped Rocky get dressed, going down stairs. Moon looked up and smiled warmly, walking over and hugging the two. "Good to see you two together again." Felix smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm glad to be with him again... where are my babies?" "Playing." She led them into the play room where Medasa, Aslan, Nagen and Cirus sat. He walked over and they all perked up, squealing and crawling over. "Ooooh my babies!" He squealed, picking them up.

Rocky smiled, watching them. He didn't hate Felix, he didn't hate Sasylia and he didn't hate the babies for not being his. He was right where he was meant to be.

Rocky smiles and allows him to play.

Rocky growls and finally opens his eyes, his eyes widen. He leans up and wraps his arms around Felix, holding him tight.

"Because I fell in love..." He smirks. His body arches to his claws, bucking faster.

Felix gave that cheshire grin and held him close, nuzzling the top of his head. "Which picture of me did you keep?"

Syd cried out as he slammed over and over into his sweetspot. "Riiight. With that ever questionable devil.." He teased.

Rocky nuzzles his neck and reaches over to his duffle bag and pulls out a picture, framed and all. In the picture, one which Roxanna had taken of Felix, Felix was happily licking a slimeberry popsicle. In the back ground of the picture sat Rocky, head down, hair covering most of his face, though a sorrowful expression could still be made out. This was when Felix was polyamorus and Rocky was on the verge of killing himself, he looked thin and weak.

Thanatos narrows his eyes. "Don't speak of him like that..."

Felix took the photo into his hands, brushing his thumb over the frame. He smiled sadly at how depressed Rocky looked and kissed him tenderly. "You've come a long way from being that skinny, down hearted gargoyle from Scaris.." He whispered, caressing his cheek. "Promise you won't leave again.."

"I mean no offense." He nipped Thanatos's lip.

"I wouldn't be able to if I tired, and..." He takes the picture and looks at it. "I haven't come very far at all...I worshiped you then... and I still do now..." He smiles tiredly and kisses his jaw. "You know this was taken after I had to be partially re-sculpted?"

Thanatos slams in a few times, smirking.

"Yes, but now I worship you too.. And you have my heart nice and cozy in your hands..." The cat's eyes fell to Rocky's shoulder where the crack was and caressed it gently. "I know.."
