Puss in Boots


Character name: P. I. Boots. Known as Mr. Boots, or just Boots.
Race: It's complicated. He was a cat, but now he's a human, who has the tendency to turn into a cat when he want's to.
Age: If we're speaking in cat terms then he's about 5.  As a human he looks to be in his mid 30's. 
Height: 5'7''
Eye color/shape: Green. Narrow. It's the only part of him that looks catlike when he's in human form.
Hair color/style: Tawny brown. Pretty fluffy, if he let if grow out it would be shaggy and mane like.
Face specifics: Small and pointy. Sharp nose and chin. Thin lips and extremely white teeth. He has a wide cheshire cat like smile. His skin is tannish and he has a smattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose.  
Body specifics: Small and compact. He's basically all wiry muscles. He moves with extreme grace and he can bend all freaky like a cat. In cat form he's small and has a longish coat that is several colors of brown in a tortoiseshell pattern. Each of his paws look like they've been dipped in white paint, i.e. boots...
Occupation: The Godmothers spy and right hand man.
History: So here's the deal with good ol' Mr. Boot's. As we know he was exceptionally intelligent for an animal, with the ability to talk and wear the cloths of a human. This was basically because he got into some of the magical fairy dust and it enchanted him. To make a long story short after he helped his master (see the story of Puss in Boots for details) become King he was awarded with many riches and titles, yada yada yada. But they didn't make him happy, because with his knew intelligence he was no longer a true cat and clearly wasn't a true human. Unhappy and bored with his life of leisure, he set off to find another grand adventure. On his journeys he bumped into the Godmother. Being a smart woman, she saw what a clever and resourceful cat he was. So she granted him the thing that he truly wanted, turning him into a human. However, in exchange he had to work for her. Always looking to better himself and have some fun doing it, Boots saw the Godmother's offer as a good opportunity and took it.
Personality: Sly and clever. He is a smooth talking, fast dealing fellow who can basically talk his way out of any situation. Very opportunistic. Has a tendency to be lazy and sleep a lot when he is not working. Surprisingly friendly and funny, and although he's only loyal to the Godmother he's pretty entertaining to be around. 
Sexual preference: I don't really want to think about that.
Relations: None. Although he has a few friends here and there.
Abilities: Has the power to change into a cat at will. Very very good at spying and smooth talking. He's not much of a fighter, although he can hold his own if he has to.


React to the following statement ic (in character):

"Hey! Don't think I'm stupid. I know what you're up to."

Boots froze in mid step, a grimace stretching across his face. Turning he looked over at the house keeper and flashed her an innocent smile. "And what might I be up to, my dearest Annie?" He purred.

The house keeper lifted a hand from where it had been resting of her hip defiantly, and waggled a finger at him. "Don't purr at me like that, you little lazy sod. Ms. Fae wants to see you right now. And when you're finished you can just stay away from the cushions in the parlor. I just had 'um cleared, and your bloody cat hair is a pain in the arse to deal with."  She said firmly.

"Oh Annie, I forget how charming you can be." Glancing behind him, he looked longingly at the window seat that was bathed in sunlight. He had been on a Job for three days and was hoping that he could get in a bit of a nap before having to see the Godmother. Clearly that was not to be the case.

With a sigh, he flashed the disgruntled housekeeper a cocky grin and then sauntered up the grand staircase to the boss's office.
