Hi and welcome to my part of solemn lines, if you look around you will see that my poems are nowhere near as good as some other peoples on here but I try...
These are mostly just thoughts that poped into my head, I've never really sat down and thought about something I just write what comes to me if it feels important.
I hope you enjoy reading and feel free to leave a comment or messase me with feed-back, and don't forget to look around at other peoples work!

Poems and Thoughts

In darkness they prosper....In darkness they devour....Be the hunted....

The Fire Which You Make Me

I am fire....
You feel my warmth....
I reflect in your eyes everything you are and will become....
To touch me is to burn, to feel pain....
I fascinate the world....
Oh and how easily I destroy....
I will cause you anger, bring out the worst in you....
How beautiful you look in my light....

~~~
See Me
Look into my eyes,
What do you see?
Look into my soul,
Can you see me?
Why not show them?
They're not even looking....
~~~

All I Am

I am light,
I am death,
I'm the key to the world,
I am nothing,
I am misery at it's peek,
yet solace when it's needed,
I'm the same as everyone else,
I am nothing,
You will never know me....

2006-05-14 [Blasphemy]: very nice, you should concider titles so people know what to refer to them as in comments, either way, i enjoyed them all..man it hard to say which I like the most, I like the symbolism in "I am Fire.." the structure of "look into my eyes" an the assertive tone of "I am light"

2006-05-14 [One of Liberty]: Thank you, I've added titles as you sugested, but I'm unsure as to what I will call the 2nd one...any sugestions?

2006-05-14 [Blasphemy]: You can call it, "to see"

2006-05-14 [One of Liberty]: See Me

2006-05-14 [Blasphemy]: Ah yes, good choice :)

2006-05-15 [Half-Mad Poet]: i have to agree with Nathan, i do enjoy "The Fire Which You Make Me" Especially the last two lines. it protrayes a confidence born of will.
