The Osvik Market, this place would be usually crowded with merchants from all of Ki'afisal trying to sell the goods they just got at the pier. There is a small fountain and a in the middle of a stne courtyard. Several closed doors of many stores contribute to the decadent aspect of the overal place. Only a blacksmith and a couple of small shops are still open, trying to make a living out of the bare rock streets of Osvik .

Time - 1:00 PM

"This place looks quite depressing" Saris said looking at the few open shops. "Well, there are not many options... shall we go to see the blacksmith first?"

Eirian shrugs, "It doesn't bother me."

Saris shrugged. "Fine". She moved to the shop. "Hello?" she said.

A venerable man comes to the front of the modest blacksmith shop. "Good morning miss, queer to see Catfolk in such parts..." he then takes a glimpse of Eiriran. "And what might ye be purdy lady?" he asks with a surprised look.

Eirian just smiles slightly and shakes her head.

Kah'ta walks slowly past each shop, taking a moment to examine what each has to offer. He spots a small building further down street with a sign hanging out in front with blacksmith on it. He reachs the door and steps over the thresh-hold.

The Blacksmith becomes even more excited as he sees Kah'ta step in. "Oi, another panther! such a strange day that is today! very well then, what can I do for you?" the old man smiles warmly as he stares at Kah'ta, Saris and Eirian.

Saris looked at Kah'ta as he entered and back at the blacksmith. If he liked panthers, maybe they could get something good of it. "These are strange days that need strange people, I'd say" she said to the man, laughing for herself, and asked "may we take a look at what you have to offer?"

"A'ight Miss, 'nething you see on the walls of my modest store is for sale, I'm actually quite overstocked" he said while pointing at several weapons and armor on the store walls
- 2 Daggers
- 2 Short Swords
- 1 Longsword
- 1 Light Mace
- 1 Heavy Mace
- 2 Handaxes
- 8 Throwing Axes,
- 1 Battleaxe
- 2 Spears
- 1 Longbow
- 1 Crossbow
- 2 Leather Armors
- 1 Splint Mail
- 1 Breast Plate
- 2 Leather Helmets
- 2 Iron Helmets
- 2 Small Wooden shields
- 2 Large Wooden Shields
- 1 Buckler
- 1 Large Iron Shield
The Man then looks out the door making sure there's no one else nearby. "Now Lady... if weapons is what you fancy... I came across a real treat wee days ago... But i'll be damned if I pull it out while Skelle and his lot prowl outside.."

Kah'ta walks over to the longsword hanging on the wall. "May I?" he asks, easily lifting the sword off it's rack on the wall and balancing it in his hand.

"Of course good sir" replies the Blacksmith with a smile.

Kah'ta smiles back warmly, before masterfully swinging the blade. He stops and lets it rest in his hand again. "This is a good blade. What is it's price?"

"It is a sword of very fine craftsmanship, it'll go for 70 gold pieces." Replies the man.

"And what of the short sword and buckler?" Eirian asks pointing at the wall.

"The buckler goes for 30 gold pieces and the shorty sword for 45" replies the blacksmith while looking closely at the items.

Kah'ta thinks to himself for a moment and then pulls out a small pouch. He opens it and thumbs out 70 gold pieces. "I'll take it...Oh! I will also need a sheathe...how much will that be?" he says quickly, still holding the coins in hand.

Saris didn't pay much attention to Kah'ta's trading and looked at the blacksmith keeping that last thing he said in mind. "We don't like Skelle either" she whispered "is there a way we could see those weapons?"

"The sheath is complementary of course" replies the Blacksmith handing Kah'ta a beautiful studded leather sheath, not very decorated, but elegant. He takes the money and stores it safely on a small chest under the counter. He then turns to Saris. "Unfortunately good lady... you never know when Skelle's got someone eavesdropping behind some door or the sort. As soon as he's out of the town, i'll show you this weapon."

"Right, but... " Saris said "It would be a waste to keep that there if we can give it a better use. Besides, we don't know if Skelle is ever going to leave this town" she turned slowly and examined one of the daggers.

"Aye.... well Miss... i'll get it out... but It'll be over your head if 'nething happens to it..." said the man as climbed the stairs to the second storey of the shop.

Saris smiled widely, surprised by her own power to convince the man. She glanced at Kah'ta and Eirian wondering what kind of weapon the blacksmith was going to bring...

The man returned quickly, bringing what appeared to be a large tube wrapped in a blanket. He took off the blanket, revealing it's contents. A long Iron tube, attached to it was a wooden handle, several small mechanisms could be seen in the point where the tube and the handle got together. Next to the tube was a stick with what appeared to be a black sponge attached to it. "Here it is... my beauty, the pride of Nerva."

Kah'ta straps the longsword in it's sheathe to his belt and then walks over to the counter, marveling at the beautiful object. "What is it? i have never seen anything like it..."

"Oi, bet you haven't" replies the blacksmith quite cheerfully. "'This baby here tis a Musket. You see, Antiscious Orator was many things... but he was no fool. He created this technology, though most of Nerva's musketeers were demon food during the war of corruption. Now this beauty here takes a while to reload (2 turns) but it goes through armor like a Lion Catfolk through a steak."

"Try to be a little more careful with the examples you pick, man" Saris said and examined the strange weapon.

"Aye miss, no means to offend, but if you had ever seen one of them Lions eat a steak at the Golden Sail you'd know what I mean!" Replied the man with a smile as he handed Saris the musket. "Now If you buy my baby I would be happy to teach you how to handle it."

Saris smiled. "Well, that would depend of how much money do you want for it" she said, thinking that probably it costed more than what she had.

"Aye" replies the man. "These beauties sold for 300 in the good days... however I do not expect much from this town.. so I'll let it go for 250..."

Eirian eyes the strange weapon and then pauses before asking, "Would you take a trade for the short sword?" She pulls out her light mace, "I could make up the difference with coin."

"Of course miss, really nice mace you've got here" he says as he watches the hauken motifs and carvings on the Mace."That would be 15 gold difference miss"

Saris looked at the musket. It costed far more than what she was carring. "Besides, I'm not sure if that's a weapon for me" she thought. She looked at Kah'ta and Eirian, wondering if they had some interest in buying it. "Indeed it's a nice weapon" she said to the blacksmith and then lowered a bit her voice "do you know if Skelle and his men have anything like this?"

"Aye, miss panther, I really dun think so... maybe old man Verholm up in the hill mansion has one o' these..." Replied the man.

Eirian gives a sharp nod to herself and then addresses the blacksmith, "Okay, I'll trade you the mace and take a short sword and the buckler." She hands him the mace and and brings out her coin purse.

"Right away miss" says the blacksmith as he places the mace on a nearby wall and hands Eirian the Buckler and a short sword. "That would be 45 gold for the sword and 30 for the buckler. Minus 30 for the mace. It would come to a total of 45 gold pieces miss."

Eirain hands him the gold with a grin and then settles her new weapons on her body, testing the balance and range of the sword. "Great."

"Pleasure doing business with you miss" Replies the blacksmith. "Anything else my good sirs?" he asks looking at the group.

"Just one thing" Saris said "hide that musket again. Maybe I'll come later" she smiled. There was nothing she specifically needed right now.

"Aye miss" says the blacksmith smiling back as he hid the musket under the counter.

Urien patted his drab leather. "I could do with some more armour... how much for the large iron shield and the breastplate? If I don't have enough you can have my current armour in exchange too."

"Well, I don't believe I will be needing anything else. Good day sir..." Kah'ta says, walking out the door.

Saris looked at Urien arrive and Kah'ta leave. She didn't need anything, she thought. "Thank you, mister blacksmith." she turned to Eirian and Urien. "See you outside..." she left the shop.

With a last nod to the blacksmith, Eirian followed on her heals.

"The breastplate is 200 gold, the iron shield costs 70 gold, Urien" replies the blacksmith.

"Give me the shield then, i'll give you my wooden shield to cover some of the money" replies Urien handing him some money and his shield.

"Right away" replies the old blacksmith giving Urien the large Iron shield.

Urien left the shop.
