Paulo Coelho: By the River Piedra... review

By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept is by far one of my favourite boks by Paulo Coelho. It tells a story of a two people who were lovers in their youth, but lost each other. After eleven years they meet again. She is a strong business woman and he is a spiritual leader. How the two different worlds collide? Do they still miss each other and what can they do for it?

In search for the meaning in their life, they both learn things about each other and themselves in order to be able to lead more complete life.

Coelho's narration is timeless: it goes forward slowly, thinking, making comments about life, romance, religion and philosophy. It's full of little anecdotes you want to write down.
You can find yourself in this book, all the haste we live in and start to think what is life for me?

If you need a book that'll make you think all these things, read this. It's just... amazing.
