-This is the last book in a series of books called the Wheel of Time.
-I have been reading this series sense I was in high school (witch is more then ten years ago)

I would recommend this book to anyone who has been following the series sense the beginning. It ties all the loose threads together and gives you an ending - all be it not the ending that I was hoping for. I have to admit that this book was a bit of a let down. The foreshadowing from the other books really made this book predictable. I could have told you every twist and turn of this book before it happened. At times I actually fell asleep reading this book. Basically I read this book and felt like I didn't really NEED to read it to know how it was going to play out. Meh.

SPOILERS!!!!

The authors killed off married pairs like Egwene al'Vere and her husband/warder Gawyn Trakand, Siuan Sanche and her warder/husband Gareth Bryne, and so on. Basically if your spouse died so did you, and vice-verve. I think there was only one exception to the rule, and that was Rhuarc, he died but his wives lived.

Mat didn't have to sound the Horn of Valor. He died in an earlier story so he was no longer tied to it. It was a duh moment that should not surprise anyone who was paying attention.

I was hoping that they would kill off the main character but they made a way to let him live as well as become anonymous so he could live a normal life. Sigh.

The thing that bothered me the most is how Rand treated his father in the end. He just let Tam believe he was dead. The author left an open ended ending so he could tell him latter, but Tam is openly distraught and Rand just wanders off to see the world... ya, BS

Anyway, like I said if you are involved with the series go ahead and read the book, but don't expect any real surprises.
