A past love
with a hoping future
no way to communicate
with a first love
fighting the ones who pass me by
waiting for you to be by my side
tried to forget
thought it could go far
you were always the one
to laugh with me in the rain
i tried to replace you
thought it was true
found out it wasn't
will never be without you
without you to be the one
the one with this hoping future
  from a past love.
