History: His mother was raped by a vampire, and thats how he came to be, he was born as one. He despises himself and every human except his mother. His mother was killed while trying to save him from being executioned. Once when catherine took a picture and looked at it was of a boy running with an arrow sticking out of his shoulder. She ran after him and saw him in a bush; he looked to be around 14. She asked who he was and what he was running from. He snapped back for her to stay away or he would kill her. She laughed saying "You're cute for a young vampire." He blinked and swore at her. She stared at him with blank eyes and he shivered under her gaze. "i am not one you want as an enemy," she told codly. He said "Who do you think you are? I don't have allies. Everyone is my enemy?" Catherine aws shocked would talk to her like this, she narrowed her eyes and he right back. "I am Catherine. You would not do good to speak to me like this. Not you if you want to die." "I don't care, I talk to everyone the same, you are no excepttion," he said. "Do you want to die?" she asked with a smirk on her face that he did not see. "Maybe. What's it to you? What good will it do to have me dead?" he coldly replied. She looked down at him and smiled widely. He raised an eyebrow wondering what she was up to. "I am not an ordinanary vampire. What these humans have done is the way I came into exestience. And as for killing you, you're right I wouldn't have a use for killing you," she started. He interupts, "Does it look like I care about you're past?" "She shocked by saying, "No but I would enjoy killing you even if there was no use. So I might as kill you now." He closed his eyes and bowed his head waiting for the blow. It never came, instead he looked up and saw her walking away, almost to the edge of the clearing. He staggers up and limps after Catherine. She pays no attention to him; he shouts out, "why didn't you kill me?" She continues to ingore him and stops suddenly and disappears from view. He quickly ran up where she been standing and stood in defense. She appeared behind him and said "Boo." Quaridan jumped at the sound and spun around on the spot and threw a punch at her. She caught it, smirking, crushing in her tiny hand. His eyes widened and quickly began to try and pull away his fist but was unable to get it to get it out of he hand; and instead trys to kick her leg. But it does not good, as she is able block with her own leg. "You have no idea how to fight do you? It's rather amusing to watch you." He growled at her and looked away, ignoring the pain that shoot up his arm, 'Why don't you finish the job you started?" Catherine rolled her eyes and laughed, "I never started it,if you didn't notice. It was the humans that it. I am bored of and do not follow again." "So whatever," he said not promising a thing. She released him and fell the ground, She continued to walk forward not looking back. He got up and followed her catiously. They came across a feild and Catherine bent down and picked something up and walked around the edge of the medeow. He looks aound and sees humans lying face first into the ground. They looked like someone had picked them up and flung them to the ground. He was caught off by surpise and looked at her. Catherine's vioce rang out acroos the feild, "In case, you're wondering. This was not my work. I'm usually a lot cleaner than this." Still in shock about the humans, he asked, "If you didn't do this then who did?" "That would be the work of my
friend, Jemeremy. He kills both humans and vampires regardless of who you are. He doesn't look after his own kind," she codly replied , all the while taking pictuers of the feild. "What do you mean by 'kind'?" he asked. She looked up at him and laughed, "You think that you're human, don't you?" Her eyes dancing with warmth. Quaridan looked like she grown three heads,"Of course I am, what else would I be?" "Then can you tell me, why they sent you to be killed?" She questioned. "it's beacuse of the sickness that I have," he snapped. "Is that what they're calling it?" "Yeah, a disease. My mother said that had to kill so I would spread it to anyone else," he said sadly, gazing at the gorund. Not the least bit sorry, she replied "Well, hate to break it to you. Oh wait, no I don't; you're a vampire." "how can I be a vampire. They're myths," he curtly replied. "Well then, what am I doing above the ground?" she smirked. He stared at her in disbelief, "How can you be a vampire when they are none?" Instead of answering, she threw a red bottle at him, "Drink up kid, you'll need the strength." He looked at he bottle and against his better judgement, he drank it, wincing in it's bittersweet taste."Let's go kid, we'll need to be far ahead, especailly with you." "Hey don't call me kid, I do have a name you know,' he said with a temper. "Then out with it," she replied having fun playfully toying with him. "my name is Quridan,old womane. What's your's?" not liking her silence. "Catherine," she shortly replied back softly. He nodded and walked up to her and leaned down and whispered," Kitten." Catherine narrowed eyes and merely said," Brace yourself." He looked at her stupidly but winced and looked down, only the arrow gone and the wound healed. Catherine held the arrow in her hand, "Lets go
kid." He growled but she has gone joggin up the forest line. He muttered, "Damn stupid wench. How that fast?" and ran after her. Ever since then "kitten" helped Quaridan with his powers and taught him how to fight. They were like brother and sister and Quaridan still had issues with her. He loves to annoy but never succeeds in in his tries. Quaridan has a small crush on Catherine, but she doesn't know of it.
