Background: Having been a member of Apothis' SG-X, a force of Jaffa who do not possess primtar (infant goa'uld) Tola's name was changed to Rachel Jean Anderson. SG-X's goal was to train in the ways of Earth's military in order to infiltrate Cheyenne Mountain in an effort to overthrow the Tarie. Understanding that the Tarie induct women into their military Apothis saw fit to do the same and selected only six females. Upon hearing of Apothis' demise at the hands of SG-1 and that the Goa'uld where not gods, Jean opted not to return home and apply her knowledge to the SGC. She was attached to SG-13 on probationary precaution and after proving herself to be a valuable member of the team was assigned to the Stargate Gemini project. She currently has obtained the rank of Major and stands as SG-Alpha's commanding officer.
