Character Name: Rehn Heise

Appearance: Rehn appears as a normal, tall, gangly teenager. He has fiery red hair, blazing emerald eyes, and freckles splotched all over a pasty white face. However, that’s how he
chooses for the world to see him. In reality, although a lot of those features still apply, (mainly the ginger part), he bares several other distinctive characteristic
s. Like for starters, he has a striking pair of backwards curving horns planted symmetrically on his forehead. Another thing is that burning red hair, well, it isn’t just on his head, his sideburns are just as bushy, coming along his jawline with only a two finger sized gap in-between on his chin, his forearms are covered in the stuff too, as well as erm, the entire lower half of his body. Course that would make sense given what he is, and that would be a Satyr boys and girls. Hooved and all at that.
Special Features: Rehn can “appear” as anything he’d like to, however, given it’s not a true alternate form, that’s irrelevant.
Abilities: As you probably could have guessed right now, Rehn is an illusionist, meaning that he was given the trickster skills of the treacherous Loki. As far as “what” he can make somebody see, the only limitations lie with that of Rehn’s own imagination. But he isn’t all powerful, to start off with, although his power will work on most specials, handlers have been made immune. Secondly, his gifts are very short ranged. If Rehn isn’t standing within a couple of feet of his creations, they wisp away, leaving him with fairly limited applications. Also, other than a stern shin kick, he’s about useless when it comes to a fight.
Personality Profile: Rehn is a very self-conscious individual, nearly to the point of obsession. Although he can’t remember what he looked like before the doctor got hold of him, he definitely didn’t like how he ended up. So, he compensates. Aside from that character flaw, Rehn is bitter towards his handler, and basically anybody that isn’t as deformed as he is. Also, he lives up to his chosen deities reputation as a trickster, constantly causing trouble and hounding the workers at the compound that ‘haven’t’ been augmented to be immune to his gifts.
History: Early on in the game, while Rehn was just coming to terms with what he’d become, and also, what he could do, he noticed that only the handlers could actually see through his disguises. And when some mission failed, and all the handlers available were sent into the field to clean up the mess, he created his alt, and slipped out with the crowd. After a short while, he realized that life outside, was tough. No one was there to feed him anymore, he couldn’t find a job he could keep, because in the beginning, he didn’t have the control too maintain his illusions, and occasionally, they would falter. And it just wasn’t cool to most people when the young awkward teen behind the desk randomly shifted into the young, even more awkward goat-teen. So, with no money, no food, and no way to get things long term, he weighed his options. And eventually, found out that he was better off at the compound. Of course, that left him with the predicament of actually finding it, so instead, he just decided to stir up the shit, and bring them to him. (on return, he’ll be implanted with a tracker chip as well as a bio-illuminescent tattoo that he can’t manipulate with his illusions to prevent a reoccurrence. Location to be determined when I put enough thought into it, or at gm’s discretion!)
