Abilities/powers: Self-Resurrection and regenerative qualities. Sam is able to regrow body parts. Hands and feet in a matter of about 3 hours, a limb in 12 hours, his torso in 24 hours. If his head is destroyed, however, he will no longer regenerate. If he dies, he will return to life over the course of three days after finishing fully regenerating, at first returning to a sort of coma, and regaining the rest of his consciousness. Immunity to poisons and illnesses. His pain levels are also muted, not feeling nearly the normal amount of pain from losing body parts.

General appearance: Sam stands at 5'10" tall, weighing roughly 190 pounds. His black hair is kept fairly short, and is generally left unkempt in a tousled mess that he keeps under a driver hat. His eyes are a dark, dusky blue with a gold ring around the outside. His preferred form of clothing is a long-sleeved black dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a pair of nice blue jeans, and black dress shoes.

Additional Appearance: Plain, small gauge hoop earring in his left ear lobe. Silver ring band on his right ring finger. His skin has very few blemishes, except for a small scar across the left side of his chin.

Personality: He's not exactly the cheery type. As a matter of fact, he's mostly no-nonsense and rather rough around the edges. He's generally stoic and cold. He can be a little distant when it comes to his powers, and has a major resentment of being a mutant, and will break into some outbursts if questioned too much about his powers. He is generally unshakable when it comes to blood, death and gore, having been through it all before, and always coming back. He is slightly depressed, and personally interested in the idea of dying, unsure that he will ever actually be able to die. In general populace, he's stern and rather quiet.

Medical information: He can't be killed, does that count? He is immune to poisons, illnesses, and allergens. (Acids and other damaging substances will still effect him as normal, however, his improved healing will generally override the effects, and will restore him to normal health.)Medium-severity case of Claustrophobia. Mild case of heart arrhythmia.
 
Brief History: Growing up, life was pretty normal for Sam. His family was fairly affluent, his father was a mechanical engineer and his mother a doctor, and Sam was an only child. He went through the usual steps of growing up and being a teenager, and lived a mostly uneventful life.Sam was a highly intelligent student throughout schooling, being highly urged on by both of his parents. One Saturday afternoon, on his way to an academic conference with his parents, they were involved in a severe car accident, their vehicle crossing several lanes of traffic and through the median, eventually being hit head on by a semi. The accident killed Sam and both of his parents on impact. However, when the wreckage was searched, only both of Sam's parents were declared "Dead", Sam was breathing once again, but in a severe coma with very little damage to his body, despite the mangled mess that the car was in, and the unexplained hand that was in the back seat with him. When he taken to the hospital, Sam was taken in by a mutant Doctor at the hospital, who was a former co-worker of Sam's mother and who took Sam in after he had recovered enough to be released, as he had no other family members to take him. The doctor recommended Sam come to Xavier's institute to explore his abilities, and sent him on his way with a stipend to cover his expenses.
