Warning: Strong sexual themes and gay male coupling

Yami sat quietly by the window of his room in a comfortable looking sofa chair. He had one leg tucked under himself as he read a large weathered book in his lap. The half demon leaned one arm on the sofa chair with his chin dropped languidly in the upraised palm. He would have looked bored and nonchalant if it weren’t for his crimson eyes that flickered like lightening back and forth behind his small reading glasses, the only sign that betrayed his disinterest.

The room was reasonably quiet, except for the steady beat of rain against the arched windows. It was also somewhat dark, but Yami had grown accustomed to reading in little light, so he seemed unbothered.

The door creaked open and shut quietly but Yami didn’t even glance up. He was mesmerized with the work he was reading. It was simply fascinating to learn about old civilizations and how they functioned. Democracy? Hardly. They were mostly Theocracies, which would explain why most of them didn’t exist anymore…

Yami jerked up, startled as two loving hands lifted his face up. It was Kaelin… and he was giggling… though not his normal carefree giggle… more of a…

Kaelin kissed him roughly, nearly climbing onto the book and his fiancés’ lap. Kaelin tasted differently… strangely… Something he hadn’t ever tasted on the mans lips before. Kaelin was maneuvering his hands somewhat clumsily across the little half demon as he kissed him more urgently and passionately.

Yami turned his head, glaring at the younger man from the corner of his eye. “Kaelin, are you drunk?” He asked, a little perturbed. Kaelin’s answer was a little, almost guilty, giggle. Yami sighed, rolling his eyes and managing to fend the drunken man off himself and set the book on the chair, staring up at his fiancé who was leaning heavily to one side, giggling still. “How… much did you have to drink?” Yami asked, one eyebrow raised.

Kaelin hiccupped, and Yami couldn’t help but smirk. Classical drunk?

“Just tasting to see which wine we should have at the wedding.” The blond slurred, throwing his arms around the half demon. Yami squeaked, taking several steps backwards, catching the monk as he stumbled against him. “You’re so cute, honey. Kiss me?”

Yami dodged the kiss, and instead Kaelin seemed to instead just allow himself to grope about the older mans body greedily. Yami flushed. Kaelin was by far the last person he would expect to touch him like this. Kaelin’s hands roamed down the front of the Prince’s body until they seemed to find themselves interested a little lower then Yami would have liked the intoxicated man to touch.

“H-hey!” Yami gasped, snatching both of Kaelins’ wrists and jerking his arms out. Kaelin merely laughed, leaning forward and trying to kiss him again.

“Kiss me, darling?” The blond said again, each of his advances causing Yami to take a step backwards. To Yami’s mounting horror, he realized the blond had him pressed up against the side of the bed. Yami laughed at the irony. How many times had he tried to get Kaelin to have a few ‘exceptions’ to his ‘no-premarital-sex’ beliefs? And now… here he was, fending off a very drunk Kaelin with attempt to honor those beliefs. Yami tried to talk some sense into the drunk man, but once more his mouth was being occupied by his fiancés tongue. Kaelin, using his height and weight advantage, toppled onto of the Prince and the two of them fell onto the bed. Kaelin was laughing, while under him Yami shifted uncomfortably.

“Kaelin, you’re very drunk. I promise.” Yami said from underneath him. Kaelin seemed to not hear him, or if he did, only responded with several deep hot kisses across his fiancés’ collarbone. Yami squirmed, eyes wide and wanting nothing more then to just give in to the drunk mans desires. But, with a helpless groan, Yami was well aware of how incredibly angry Kaelin would be for ‘taking advantage’ of him before they were officially married. “K-Kaelin, no. Stop. Your morals, think of your morals!” He said desperately.

Kaelin stopped and sat up slightly, having now straddled Yami in a way that reminded the dark-haired Prince all too much of how badly he wanted the blond. The monk had both of the Princes wrists pressed hard to the bed, and he tilted his head down at the man thoughtfully. Then, smirking devilishly he pressed his lips to his ear and slurred in a humorously enticing voice, “Screw morals, I want you.”

Yami nearly fainted at the sound of the usually sweet and gentle voice sounding so sexy and seductive. Yami stuttered incoherently, trying to fend off the pretty blond with his arms, but Kaelin was having none of that. His hands continued to roam about the Prince’s slender body, clumsily, but arousing all the same.

“Damn you, Kaelin!” He hissed, struggling. “Damn you and your stupid morals!” Then with a burst of energy he threw the blond man off himself. Kaelin giggled as he rolled away on the bed, staring lovingly at Yami who was scowling down at him behind his mussed hair. The Prince unconsciously fixed his glasses that he just realized he was still wearing and as he did, Kaelin pounced on top of him again, smothering him with kisses. Yami swore profusely, and started to struggle, but just then Kaelin let out a happy little sigh and slumped forward onto of him.

Yami laid there silently, unmoving for several minutes listening to his fiancés slumbering breaths. Yami wasn’t sure if he was happy the monk had passed out or not… The Prince sighed, inching his way from underneath the blond then sat up staring at him. He was adorable, Kaelin. His hair was like finely spun golden silk, and his pale white skin was flawless as it was beautiful. Though, the peaceful and still noticeably drunk look on his sleeping face only made Yami chuckle helplessly to himself. The crimson-eyed man ran the back of his fingers across his loves cheek, smiling.

Then he sighed heavily, glaring. “No more alcohol for you.” He said flatly, flushing as he fixed his clothing. He shook his head at the man, sliding of the bed. Kaelin… of all people… Yami nearly turned crimson at the thought of what could have happened if the man hadn’t passed out—

“Hey, Yami!” Ankei said, poking his head into the room. Yami, quite literally, screamed and flailed, not all together enjoying the several surprises of the day.

Clutching at his shirt and scowling unpleasantly at his confused brother the half demon hissed out his angry reply, “What!?”

Ankei blinked at him, “Is Kaelin here?”

Yami answered with a withering glare then pointed menacingly at the bed where the blond was happily passed out.

“Oh, good. I was wondering where he went. We were tasting wines and I left to go get some more, and when I came back he was gone.”

Yami glowered, “So, you are the one that gave him alcohol!?”

Ankei looked confused. “Well… yeah. But, you put it like I was handing him glass after glass.” Ankei laughed, “He only had about half a glass in all so far.”

Yami’s eyebrow twitches noticeably.

Kaelin had been drunk, after half a glass of wine?

“Don’t ever give alcohol to Kaelin again.” Yami hissed, storming forward. Ankei, wide eyed, quickly retreated and the Prince slammed the door shut and locked it, all together fed up with all these silly intrusions. Yami slumped against the door. “Half a glass?” He whispered, exasperated.

It was then that Yami realized why he hadn’t ever seen Kaelin drink.
