Scott And Damion's Room
Damion walked into the room. He sighed. He had such a headache. He hated being around so many people. He opened up one of the many boxes he still had to unpack. He pulled out a folded up bag, which looked like a balloon. He unfolded it and layed it down. Than he pulled out a jar of sand. He poured the sand into the bag and set it up in the corner of the room. He went back into the box and pulled out hand wraps and slowly wraped his hands up. He started pounding furiously on the bag when his hands were wrapped properly.
Meldoy was slightly drained from the day and took off her heels and let them dangle in her hand. Once she reached Damion's door, which was open, she placed them outside, and being the trained fighter she was, her feet padded the wood floor without a sound as she approached Damion. She tapped his shoulder lightly, holding the meal in one hand and called out his name softly, "Damion.."
Damion jumped and looked at Melody. He smiled when he realized it was her. "Hey."
Melody smiled faintly, startled, and held up a plate for him to see. "I was going to sleep and thought you might be hungry, so I grabbed you a plate..."
"Ah. Thanks." Damion took the plate. "What time is it?" He asked looking around the room realizing that he had no clocks.
Melody shrugged thinking for a second, "About seven or eight..."
"You're going to sleep this early?" Damion asked curiously.
Meldoy shook her head and sat down on the nearest bed, "I just wanted to get away, especailly from my sister and Danny." She sighed deeply, "I couldn't handle how she was looking at me after I told her that..."
Damion looked at Melody curiously. "What's wrong?" He sat beside her.
Melody smiled peacefully enjoying the moment befoe it slipped away, she looked down, she couldn't will herself to look him in the eye. "Remember that question my sister asked, the one that asked how we all got her to the school?" She continued, not giving him a chance to answer, "Well, after I got back I answered it. I had never told Grace, or anyone. The one person who knew was Danny, and that was because he was there." She then lifted her head shyly, and her voice became immpossibly quiet, "I killed someone Damion. That's what I did.." She looked to the wall, facin forward, one lone tear slipping down her cheek as she thought about it, "I was in a fight club and when he went down, I knew how he was, and thought he was tricking me...So I attacked, and again and again without thinking till I realized he was almost dead. He's in the hospital still, it's been over a year and I haven't fought since." With that, she turned and looked at him, her eyes teary, "You have to beleive me Damion, I didn't mean it, and I only joined to help me and my sister out. I had no other way to earn money..." She trailed, leaving the rest to Damion.
Damion frowned and hugged her in a comforting way without saying a single word.
Melody gasped at the simple action, but grasped a his shirt and smiled slightly up at him, with tears in her eyes, she toyed with the collar of the shirt, laying her head down on his shoulder, and she laughed softly, "You don't look like..you.. with this on.."
Damion chuckled lightly. He kissed her forehead softly in an almost hesitant way. He pulled away and pulled the shirt off. He smirked at her. "Is this better?"
"Is it?" Melody smirked right back, she had seen the look on his face when Selena had announced that formal attire was required at dinner, and when Damion had stepped out with the shirt on, he did not look happy,
at all. She laid her head backon his shoulder and just then spotted the punching bag, smiling to herself, seeing as she had one in her own room.
Damion smiled at her. He looked down at his pants. "Your right...it's not better."
Melody had a questioning look on her face, but followed his gaze, "Oh!" She chuckled, the blush spreading on her face, "I-I-I'm going to change, I'l bee right back.." She stood up slowly and smiled down at him coyly, headed to her room across the hall, picking up her heels outside the door. She went quickly to her room and changed into a simple black slik nightgown that went to her feet, but had slits up the side so in she sat cross legged the material would just drape over her. She wiped off her makeup and pulled down her hair, sighing at the feel of having it down and smiled as she closed her room door and headed back to Damion's room.
Damion had changed his pants in the time that Melody was gone. He was now shirtless and wearing his average baggy pants that tied tightly around his thin boney waist and ankles.
Meldoy walked back to the room, and knocked on the door to see if he was busy or awake.
"Come in." Damion called. He was pounding on the punching bag again.
Melody smiled as she entered the room, and walked over to the punching bag and waited for him to pull back from a punch before stepping behind the bag and holding it so it did not move like it the movies. She figured if she was here, she could at least help. She flashed him a smile quickly, not wanting to distract him. She braced one leg against the bag, the material parting delicately to shimmer down to puddle against the hip to the floor.
Damion smiled at her and it quickly vanished as he threw another punch. He started pounding on the bag almost artisticly throwing jabs and hooks in a pattern and switching it up again. He stooped for a moment stepping back and took a deep breath. His breathing was even all though he did that whole work out.
Meldoy smiled in a way to let him know that she thought he did a good job and she stepped out from the punching bag. She padded over to his bed and hopped up onto it, sliding back till her back hit the wall. With her hieght, her feet barely dangled over the bed.
Damion chuckled at her. "Thanks." He sat beside her on the bed. "So what now?"
Melody chuckled, and tugged at his hand binding for a moment to signal to take them off while she got up and grabbed his food. She walked back to the bed and sat down, pulling her legs under her and placed the food in her lap, pulling off the cover. "Eat," Meldoy said simply while tugging at the hand binding again, and began to take one of them off herself.
Damion chuckled again and started pulling off the wraps. He looked at his hands which were sore and red.
Melody finished unwrapping his hand and looked down at them, turing his hand over in her palm, "You are pushing yourself a little too hard today, or you're wrapping them to tight." But she doubted it the second one, and merely handed him his plate, with a knife and fork in her other hand.
Damion took the plate ignoring her comment. He had far too much on his mind to talk about. He knew he pushed far too hard but he was relaxed now. "Thank you." He simply stated.
"You're welcome," Melody said tiredly, as she fell back onto his bed, her head hitting his pillow, and her hair cascaed around her head like a halo. She gave him a small smile, knowing fully well that he had something on his mind, but she was a private person as well and would not push him. Her eyes fluttered closed as she dozed for a moment.
Damion looked down at her. "Tired?" He asked her as he ate slowly.
"Somewhat...ju
st tired from dealing with all those people..." Meldoy opened her eyes, looking at the ceiling. "I hate crowds..." She left it at that, streaching out her limbs, making sure her legs went behind Damion and curled her left arm under her head while her right hand toyed with a strand of hair that fell at her hip.
Damion nodded in agreement. "That's why I didn't stay." He stated.
Melody nodded, "How is it?"
"Hm?" Damion gave her a confused look forgetting entirely about the food in his lap or the utensils he unconciously fiddled with in his fingers.
Scott walked into the room and blinked. "Heey.. are you both my new roomates...?" he questioned.
Damion looked up at Scott. He looked down at his plate on his lap and realized she was talking about the food. "Oh. It's good." He moved the plate and stood up. "No. It's just me." He smiled at Scott kindly.
Scott nodded slightly and walked over to his bed, which was still covered in boxes. He started to unpack all his stuff. Skateboards, biking stuff, ect.
Damion looked at the items Scott unpacked and rolled his eyes. This would be a great year. He was obviously a popular boy and he himself could care less about other people.
Scott stopped when he came across something. "Sh... hey dude...?"
Damion took his attention off of the boxes and looked at Scott. "Yeah?"
"I forgot to take the weed out of the box... you won't tell anyone I have it will you?" Scott asked.
Damion's eyes widened but soon relaxed again. "No....I won't." He looked at Melody with a 'save me' expression.
Scott laughed slightly. "Thanks man... Don't worry, I only smoke it on Saturdays."
Damion quickly looked at Scott with a raised eyebrow. "Why only Saturdays?"
Scott shrugged. "Its when I need to relax the most..."
Damion squinted his eyes in thought and than went to speak but stopped. He wouldn't try entering the mind of a 'stoner' who needed some drug to relax. He had his own methods of relaxing. He instead changed the subject. "I hope you don't mind that I have that set up." He pointed at the punching bag he had up.
Scott shook his head. "Nope, not at all." he smiled. "You box?" he asked.
Damion smirked. What an idiot He thought to himself. "Not exactly. I'm not a boxer at all actually. I practice martial arts. I'm trained in Ju Jitsu, Judo, Ninjutsu, Taido, and Tae Kwon Do." He explained to Scott.
Scott nodded. "I see... well, its a good way to get your anger out..." he said in a soft tone. He seemed pissed off. Wow, doesn't this guy think he's all high and mighty... assholeic bastard... he thought to himself.
Damion nodded and rose from his position on the bed. He approached his punching bag and rested his hand on it. He than looked over his shoulder back at Scott. "I guess you can say, it's my weed." He chuckled.
Scott shrugged. "The weed is usually just a last resort... I've been trying to quit."
Damion grinned. "If you wish, I can help you with that." He looked back at the punching bag. "This can be quite helpful."
Scott smiled. "I might...." he chuckled.
Damion smiled in return and sat back down on his bed.
Melody sat back upright when Damion's weight bounced the bed. SHe smiled at him breifly, wary of Scott. She had bad experinces with stoners and she was not very welcoming of newcomers like her sister.
Damion looked at Melody. "Are you alright?" He asked her.
