Shi Dorms.

Where the animals eat and sleep.

Kasshoku was in his own overly large sized dorm alone. He grumbled to himself about snakes and 'them' now and again, but he was mainly focusing on how to use a biro pen. When it came to writing out the files for experimental purposes, there were hardly ever any animals who could write. So obviously, Kasshoku the grizzly wanted to impress his Leader by learning how to write. "GODDAMN!" He roared as he dropped the pen yet again on the floor after it had wiggled between the claws of his paws.

Kinage hissed in pain as he slithered outside Kasshoku's door, now covered in bandages with a healthy serving of the antidote made of Dokuja's poisons. He groaned and slithered slower than usual, and stopped when he heard Kasshoku inside. He grinned a little to himself and peeked in. "What'ssssss the matter, Kasshoku?" he asked, trying to seem friendly.

The grizzly roared again as he dropped the pen for the second time. Mainly because the snake had frightened the living daylights out of him. Kasshoku turned and glared at Kinage. "YOU DAMNED SNAKE!" He shouted. "You made me drop the goddamn pen again!"

"Sssssssso pick it up again." Kinage said, slithering into Kasshoku's room more. "You'll get it eventually." he grinned, showing large fangs. He hissed inwardly when his scales shifted, still stinging from the scratches and poison under the bandages.

"Yeh don't say.." Kasshoku grunted sarcastically as he picked up the pen again. There was a desk in the corner of the room with a piece of lined paper set on top of it. The bear was just about to attempt his writing when Kinage's bandages caught his eye. "'Ere.." Kasshoku said gruffly, eyeing the snake suspiciously. "Wha' 'appened to yeh? Yeh gone off 'n started anuvva war withou' us or somethin'? Bloody well looks like it if yeh ask me."

"You think?" Kinage said, looking back at himself with an easy crane of his neck. "Were you not here when the fire alarm sssssssounded?" he grinned, looking at him a little. "The hybridssssss escaped. Set of the alarm... everyone elsssse thought it was just a wire malfunction. Dokuja did thisssss to me when I went after them."

"YOU WHA'?!" Kasshoku's voice boomed. "THA' SNAKE BITCH IS OUT?! Goddamn, the Leader will be fumin'.. 'n it'll be my neck.. my yeh hear! My neck in the guillotine!" The grizzly used his claws to slash down the wall hard, denting it. "Yeh shoulda caught her, Kinage. S'not like yeh at all. Yeh a good soldier 't Leader. Why ya' so goddamn weak now all of a sudden, eh?"

Kinage frowned angrily. "I wasssssss alone, Kasshoku. While it'sss my DNA that made Dokuja what she issssss, that doesn't mean I'm immune to her." he said, glaring at him. "I'm lucky she let me live."

"Damn your DNA 't hell, Kinage. Yeh let the lil' bitch get away. End 'o story." Kasshoku grumbled, not really caring if Dokuja had let the huge snake die. It meant nothing to the bear. He had no feelings for anyone at all.

Kinage grinned here. "I think you're forgetting sssssssomething, Kasshoku." he hissed, slithering up to him. "Dokuja isssss still out there. As well assssss Shimauma and Kitsune. They all escaped. You and I can catch them with the dogs' help. Imagine the gratitude the leader will have for you then."

"Whaddya mean, 'yeh 'n I'? I ain't lookin' fer tha' bitch with yeh. Yeh've got anuvva thing comin' I'm 'fraid." Kasshoku growled. "'N I don' see why yeh bother callin' her by her goddamn name. She's jus' anuvva experiment at the end 'o the day."

"Fine." Kinage said, giving a look on his face as if it didn't matter. "You're right anyway. I have to train the new recruitsssssss for the next week or sssso. But jussssst in case you do go looking for them... I sssssaw them run into the woodsss." he hissed, slithering away from Kasshoku and out the door.

Kasshoku grunted in response as the snake left his room. "Goddamn worm." The bear growled. "Always tryin' t' mess things up fer me. Always. Bah." The grizzly then returned to trying to do the almost impossible. Use a biro pen. Would he ever give up?

"Kasshoku!" Sudo called down the large hallway of the dorms building, reaching his door quickly. She used a large paw to pad it open and stepped inside. She had just as much authority as he did, and wasn't afraid to be known. "Kasshoku!" she said again, more stern.

Kasshoku had seemed to give up with his mission on using a biro pen, and he had decided to polish his breast plate in the corner of his dorm with a dirty cloth which wasn't doing the armour any justice at all. Fighting was the grizzly's thing. His head wasn't too bright. "Wha' do yeh want? Firs' Kinage, now you.." Kasshoku growled, giving the panther a sharp glare.

"I don't suppose you've heard about the escape of the three hybrids, have you?" Sudo asked, stepping into his room without his say-so. She padded over to him and sat down in front of him, watching him polish his breast plate. "The Leader knows about it now, no thanks to anyone else."

At the mention of his leader, Kasshoku's eyes widened and he let his breast plate drop to the floor with a loud clang. "Leader knows?!" The grizzly asked quickly. "I.. well.. yeah. That damned snake came slitherin' in 'ere without my permission a few hours ago 'n told me abou' it." He frowned. "'S tha' girl which pisses me off most. The one with Kinage's DNA. He comes in 'ere, 'n all I see is her tormentin' me."

Sudo scoffed slightly. "You're so easily flustered, Kasshoku. Anyway, the reason I came in here was because you and I are to search the forests for them. Immediately." she said sternly. "We need to find them and bring them back here before they get too far."

"Ill come, but I ain' touchin' tha' bitch." Kasshoku growled, obviously talking about Dokuja. He grumbled low as he picked up his breast plate with his paws and attached it back to his body. He cold hold larger objects, but when it came to needles, syringes, and of course, pens, Kasshoku was hopeless. "We leavin' now, yeh? Or are others comin' too?" The bear asked, ready to go.

Sudo shook her head as she stood. "No one else. As far as we know, everyone else thinks it was simply a malfunction in the alerts system. We go now. We come back discreetly." she explained and turned back towards the door. "The Leader wants them back as soon as possible."

"Yeh, 'n she'll have 'em." Kasshoku said, almost dreamily as he followed after her movements by moving towards the door himself. "You can take care 'o the two girls, 'n I'll tak the boy. He didn' 'av a chance against me yesterday." The bear grinned wickedly.

"Fine, whatever. Just don't kill him." Sudo growled as she moved down the hall. "And while I might be handling Dokuja, there's still a chance she could kill me. Keep your eyes on her and watch my back, if you think Shimauma will be that easy to catch."

The grizzly grumbled something which was unclear at first. "Tha's just it, though. He won' be easy to catch. Not after the drugs inside 'o 'im wear off. Leader said tha' he's gonna be one 'o the strongest experiments." Kasshoku said, his voice serious. "'N tha' snake bitch won' be easy either. Bu' I'll try my best, Sudo." The bear shrugged.

Sudo rolled her eyes again. "Good enough. But no one is to know about this. We get them back to the labs, and pretend they never got out." She glared back at him over her shoulder. "Got it?"

"Yeh, yeh.. Keep yeh fur on, Sudo." Kasshoku replied gruffly. "Gonna hafta knock 'em ou' or summat.. 't keep 'em quiet when we bring 'em in. 'Cause tha' Shimauma won' stay quiet fer long. Shouted enough yesterday."

Sudo smiled a little to herself. "Gag him then. Keep him quiet any way you can." she shrugged and held the door open for him with a paw. "Let's hurry. The sun will be up soon."

Kasshoku nodded. "Aye, yeh." The bear blinked up at the sky which was still rather dark and trudged out of the door. It was still raining, and it was starting to get heavier and heavier. "Damn rain.." The grizzly grumbled.

Shariah made her way slowly along the dorms, looking up at each door number carefully as she kept an eye out for Kinage's door. Then again, the snake's room didn't even need a door number. The scent from his venom wafted up into the lynx's nose, causing her to growl slightly in her throat. When she reached the door, she paused. "Let me inside, worm." Shariah growled.

"Yesssssssss, Leader." Kinage's voice hissed from inside, slightly annoyed, but the large snake used his tail to unlock and open the door to Shariah. "How can I help you?"

"There is a dead body in the east corridor. Move it." Shariah ordered, her eyes flashing slightly as she watched the snake. "But I wish to ask you a question before you do anything. What do you know about Dokuja's whereabouts?"

Kinage raised his brows and then narrowed his eyes at Shariah. "Nothing, my Leader. Do you ssssssssssuspect me?" he asked, curling his body about himself in a large black coil.

"Yes. I do." Shariah replied, almost glaring at the snake as she spoke again. "I have heard talks from the other animals about you and Dokuja. But I decided to let them pass. But now that these occurences have taken place, I must of course, ask questions." The lynx paused. "It came to my attention two days or so ago that you were covered with bandages. What exactly happened to you, Kinage?"

Kinage made a small hiss, along the lines of a hum in thought and nodded in understanding. "After the hybridssssss escaped, I went after them. Dokuja, of course, fought me off and I had no choice but to come back here. She had poisoned me." he explained easily.

"Is there nothing else you would like to add?" Shariah asked calmly, as if making out that the snake's answer wasn't the correct one she was looking for. "I think there is, Kinage."

Kinage shook his head in a waving-like motion. "If you sssssssee a hole in my aliby, pleassssse point it out." he hissed, obviously welcoming her critizism.

Shariah smirked lightly. "I would only be too happy to." She said coldly. "It was your post the night Dokuja, Shimauma and Kitsune escaped. You were supposed to be watching their corridor. How did they escape?"

Kinage grinned. She was obviously making a game out of this, of which he was all too happy to oblige. "There was a faulty wire in the locking mechanisms of their cage doors. Ask the technician. He'll tell you. Somehow, it was only their three doorsssssssss."

"You are lying, Kinage." Shariah said tonelessly, glaring at the snake. "It would have been much of a coincidence if it was just their doors. They are the most secure cages in the labs since they are the most important hybrids here."

Kinage chuckled. "Oh? And how did Renzo get out, hm?" he asked, raising an invisible brow. "I'm telling you, assssssk that rabbit who works the doors. He'll tell you it was a malfunction. And, if anything, I think that would make him a prime sussssssspect."

Shariah just scoffed at his response. "The rabbit would be dead by the time Dokuja had finished with him, and she would more than likely have eaten him, too most probably." She said coldly. "The technician is alive and well, I believe. As for Renzo, he escaped from one of the beds before it was wheeled into the operating theater."

"Ah." Kinage said, nodding at the information about Renzo's escape. Dokuja would like him. They're both scaley and cold. he thought, his forked tongue flicking. "Well. Was there something else you came to tell me, or are you jussssssst here to interigate me?"

The lynx' eyes narrowed as she watched the snake carefully for a moment. "Neither. For now." She said, her voice now it's once, calm self again. "Move the body. Sudo, Corp and I are going out on patrol. I expect the corridor to be clean, and for you to still be here when we return. Is that understood?"

Kinage grinned, his fangs showing. "Yessssss, Leader." he hissed, bowing his head respectfully. Mmm.. fresh dinner at least. he thought hungrily.

Shariah did not return the grin, she just bowed her head only slightly and left the room towards the main doors without another word, her tail higher than usual, showing that she was in an extremely serious mood, and that this cat was not one to be fooled around with at that moment in time.
