The place where experiments take place.

Ugh... my head.. Dokuja thought as she blinked several times and sat up. She was in a cell, off-hand-right to the experiment tables. She cringed under the flourescent lights and grimaced. She had needles in her arms. One in each wrist and again on the inside of each of her elbows. She glared down at them and concentrated. Poison filled every opening of her skin and in a matter of minutes, the medicine inside the needles bubbled and evaporated, not strong enough to battle her acidic poisons. She angrily pulled the needles from her skin and threw them aside with a clatter. She stood and looked around, her bare feet not making a sound as she walked from one end to the other of her cell. This wasn't the first time she'd woken up from an experiment. They were trying to make her poisons more toxic. And failing. Obviously, by "they," she meant the animals. She sighed and leaned against the wall of her cell, crossing her arms and ankles leisurely.

"Great success!" A voice sung, followed by the shuffling and dragging of something along the floor. The singing voice belonged to that of a huge, brown, grizzly bear which was wearing oddly enough some sort of armour. In it's right paw it dragged what seemed to be a man by his armpit. This was no ordinary man however. He had stripes across his arms and a tail which would normally belong to a zebra. The man was awake and well, and he was trying desperately to break free from the bear's grasp. "Get offa me!" He growled through gritted teeth, his emerald eyes flashing angrily.

Dokuja watched for a moment, then stepped forward to the front of her cell. Unlike the other cells, hers had to have a glass front with only a few breathing holes. She wasn't allowed to have bars, because of the risk she would reach through and poison anyone who passed within a couple feet's distance. She put both sharply-nailed hands up against the glass and smiled evily, showing snake-like pointed teeth, as her green eyes watched the grizzly. She was mocking him, whether she said anything or not. Her black and green-tinted hair fell across one eye and shaded the other, making her look even more demonic.

"Heh, you bet I'll get off you." The bear scoffed gruffly as he opened the door of the cell opposite Dokuja's. He practically slung the poor man into the corner of the empty cell like a piece of trash. "She'll be happy. " The grizzly's snout seemed to move into a smirk as he turned his head to look at the female Hybrid. "As for you girly, you've had to have lots of them haven't you, eh? He passed the first experiment." The man in the cell tried the best he could to escape out of the door which the bear had left open, but the grizzy's great hearing caused the beast to turn on his heel and slam the door shut, right on the male Hybrid's fingers. "Oh no you don't." The bear licked his lips as he gave the female one last glance before leaving the lab without another word.

Dokuja watched the grizzly leave with a disgusted grimace, curling her lip and wrinkling her nose as if he were some kind of malformed creature from the black lagoon. She then turned to the newcomer in the cell across the way. Her snake eyes looked him up and down, then she smirked and turned away smoothly. He wasn't worth her time. Once again, her daily task was to figure a way out.

The man winced as he held the fingers of his right hand in his left, massaging them gently. "Damn bear.." He grumbled and shifted uncomfortably on the spot. His new tail would take a lot of getting used to. On his arm were stripes, and as his eyes moved to look down to his wrist, he saw some.. letters? Tattooed into his arm? The Hybrid squinted to read them. 'S-H-I-M-A-U-M-A.' "Lovely.. my name I take it." Shimauma said to himself sarcastically, tilting his head backwards to look up at the ceiling of his cell.

Dokuja heard him say his name and looked over her shoulder, flipping her black hair. She watched him, boredly, for only a moment, then turned back. Because she was a prisoner--and a female one at that--she wore only simple clothing, practical in hiding her... private spots. Her shirt was a simple wrap with no straps, in order for the animals to easily monitor her heart during experiments. She was barefooted, and her skirt started at her hips, ending at her ankles with large splits up the sides of her healthy legs. Because of her natural poisons, hair on any other part of her body besides her head was dead and she had no need to shave. She walked to one side of her cell, then to the other again, swaying her hips in boredom.

Noticing something move out of the corner of his eye, Shimauma turned to look to his left. He hadn't seen anyone else like him for at least a month, and it was certainly a shock to see her. All he saw everyday were the animals. The bears staring down at him as he lay on his back on the cold, metal bed helplessly. That monitor beeping at the same moderate speed over and over. Not forgetting the needes.. Ugh. Shimauma wanted to speak. He wanted to interact with her. But would she hear him? The Hybrid decided to do something which he thought was rather foolish after he did it. Shimauma knocked on the glass of the cell door in attempt to get her attention.

Dokuja did turn around, but her eyes showed a hint of annoyance. The other glimmer was a bit of amusement. She was interested to see what this thing had to say. Her movements were subtle, smoothe, livid, just like the snakes she was biologically engineered after. Her black hair fell in tangles around her shoulders and framed her face delicately, making her skin seem all the more pale. She put one hand on a hip and watched him, waiting.

His eyelids drooped slightly as he looked up at her into her eyes. S- so tired.. Shimauma's hand flattened against the glass as it slid down it, his whole body falling down to the ground into almost a ball. He picked himself up after a few minutes and managed to lean against the wall of the cell. "How long have you been here?" Shimauma asked finally, without looking at her. His voice was tired however, and his soft, green eyes just found the floor.

Dokuja rolled her eyes. Of course he'd be too tired to talk or even stand. He just got out of an experiment. "Sleep." she hissed and turned back around, going back to looking for a way out.

"Whos the newbie?" came a voice from a cell across the way. A young girl stepped up to the bars of her cell.

Shimauma's eyes rolled to the back of his head as his back slid down the wall. He fell yet again for the second time into a heap on the floor. His nails rested on the cell floor's surface, as Shimauma's eyes surveyed how long they had become. He felt as if he had been left to die. The Hybrid heard the second voice however, and it sounded a lot friendlier. But he had no energy to speak.

"Don't worry it gets easier...i've been here my whole life...Kitsune's the name. Piece of advice..you ever get the chance to anoy the bear, do it, so much fun!" she said then laughed.

Dokuja sighed and rolled her eyes at Kitsune's words. "Airhead." she grumbled and crossed her arms. She had to find a way out. There had to be some way. She turned around and thought about the bear, looking at Kitsune. Her eyes flashed a dangerous smile as a thought entered her head. Maybe he'd be stupid enough..? She grinned and went to the glass wall of her cage. If anything, a small yell would help her, despite that she didn't like to talk. "HEY! HUNGRY IN HERE! FUZZYKINS, BRING ME SOMETHING TO EAT!" she demanded, knowing for a fact the bear would react to the name she'd given him.

Kitsune looked at Dokuja. "Have you got an evil scheme?" she said but with a smile. "Can I help?"

Dokuja looked at Kitsune and her expression changed to one of hatred. Her green snake-eyes glared at Kitsune, but she shrugged. She could help if she wanted. All she needed to do was follow along. "FUZZYKINS, WHAT'S THE HOLD-UP?!" she shouted again, hating the sound of her own, sultry, voice.

There was a huge, bellowing roar as the door of the labs crashed open. The same brown, grizzly bear which had brought Shimauma in earlier plodded in on all fours, his armour clanging together creating a metallic sound with echoed around the lab walls. "SHUT THE GODDAMN HELL UP!" The bear roared, his eyes flashing as he glared at Dokuju. He knew not to get too close to her. His leader had told Kasshoku well, yes she had.

Kitsune giggle. "Big bad bear is getting angry!"

Dokuja grinned and raised an eyebrow as she looked Kasshoku straight in the eyes, challenging him for dominance. It was a game. Whoever looked away first lost. She was good at this game. "Fuzzykins." she hissed again. She was playing on his angery nerves, hoping he would get pissed off enough to charge into the cell and beat her. Her poisons may have been temporarily disabled (because of burning the medicine in the needles), but all she would need is an opening.

"Don' even think fer one minute that I'm gonna come in there with a freak like you, lassie." Kasshoku glared her down even harder. "Why don' you eat him for your supper, eh?" He nodded in Shimauma's direction, but didn't look away from Dokuja. "An' you, hold your goddamn tongue." The bear growled at Kitsune, still not looking away. He seemed to point at her with his huge claws.

Kitsune continued to giggle. "Is the bear frightened?"

Dokuja smiled even wider and stared him down, putting her hands against the glass. If he had looked close enough, he'd see her poisons weren't working. Her skin wasn't even moist from the last time she'd used them. "Don't look away, fuzzykins. Or I'll win again." she whispered maliciously. If anything, she knew his pride wouldn't allow him to look away. In the background of his vision, she gave her hips a small sway, smiling.

The huge grizzly grunted at her. "Your a 'lil bitch. Jus' like the rest of 'em." Kasshoku still didn't look away from her, he was a rather competitive animal, and wouldn't be beaten easily. "Now wha' was the real reason you called me in 'ere fer, eh?"

"I told you already. I'm hungry." Dokuja hissed, watching him with a slight grin. "And you better fetch me something to eat. Don't want one of your precioussssssss experiments to starve, do we?" she teased, dragging out her "s" like a snake's hiss. It was an occasional habit that sprung up only rarely. But when it did, it sent shivers down the spines of anyone hearing it--besides the other snakes, of course.

"Yeah bring me some grub too...i'm starving!" Kitsune said watching the bear.

Kasshoku roared again loudly and finally turned away from Dokuja. He now stood in front of Shimauma's cell. "I GUESS YOU'LL BE WANTIN' FOOD TOO, EH?!" The huge bear looked as if he was about to knock the cell door clean down. His eyes were flashing madly as he stared at the heap which was the male Hybrid. "Wasshedoin? Eatin' his feet?" Kasshoku murmered, staring down at Shimauma who could have quite possibly be chewing his feet by the way he was crumpled up in the corner.

"He's fainted because of your lousy mistreatment." Dokuja said, crossing her arms and standing with her chin held high in triumph. "I doubt your leader would be very happy to hear about how you treat his precious weapons." she smirked.

The huge bear began to shake all over from the feeling of anger. "YOU SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTH!" Kasshoku roared even louder still as he barged over to the female Hybrid's cell. "There's no way in hell you'll be gettin' any food tonight you goddamn son of a bitch!" The bear was bearing his teeth now. "Jus' you wait. Leader will hear abou' this, n' she won't be happy." With that, the huge, annoyed grizzly stomped back out of the lab once more, not bothering to replace the main door onto it's hinges.

Dokuja watched him leave and grinned even wider. With the door shut, the room was soundproof to a fault. Unless they shouted at the top of their lungs, no sound escaped. Now, she could let out what she had wanted. "Ready to leave?" she asked the other two with a grin. She bent down at the bottom of her cell, where the opening for her to recieve food was, and let out a quiet, deep hiss.

Shimauma moved to look at her. "But you said.." He croaked, his green eyes watching Dokuja curiously. His blonde hair shone brilliantly in the light which was coming from where the main door once stood, and the light seemed to wake Shimauma a little.

Dokuja looked at him angrily and put a finger to her lips, her eyes threatening. If anyone else outside heard them, they'd be done for. She listened, keeping the finger to her full lips a minute longer before slowly lowering it. As she did, she stood with an evil grin, her green snake-eyes showing malice and trecherous(sp?) intent. "Say hi to daddy." she grinned in a whisper as a loud hiss came from the hall outside.

"What are you-" Shimauma began. But he stopped when he heard the loud hissing sound. His emerald eyes widened and they darted from the hallway to Dokuja. Why is she grinning? What's going to happen? And who the hell is 'daddy'? He thought to himself. There was one thing he did know however. Shimauma was wide awake.

Kitsune stood with her back to the wall now scratching the tip of her ear as she listened to Dokuja. She stayed quiet waiting for what was going to happen.

Dokuja grinned and looked at the open door, her hands against the glass. She pressed herself to it as far as she could to see, letting out another hiss.

There came a response to her hiss as a large, horned python, black enough to have a purple tint to its scales, slithered into the room. Kinage's eyes searched for her and when they found her equally green ones, it stood up on its haunches and curled its body under itself, looking down at her. Standing up like that, it almost touched the ceiling. He flicked his tongue. "What isssssss it you want, my daughter?" it hissed.

Dokuja smiled, looking up at it. Her eyes flickered and she moved her body in ways that almost made it look as if she was slithering too, there against the glass. "Daddy Kinage, Kasshoku is being mean to us."

Shimauma just watched in awe. She can speak with snakes? His tail seemed to be moving by itself, almost swaying. It reminded him of the huge snake. He shivered. Perhaps because Dokuja could speak with her Hybrid animal, maybe Shimauma could speak with zebras? Heh, nah.. I'm not going to see many of them around here..

"Whats going on? What are you doing?" Kitsune said watching Dokuja.

Dokuja gave Kitsune a rude glance, but ignored her and went back to talking to Kinage. "Kasssssshoku won't get us anything to eat, papa." she hissed next. "I'm hungry.."

Kinage eyed Dokuja for a moment, then looked around the room quietly at the others. Kitsune.. and the new one. "Shimauma. You're the newest successful experiment. Glad to sssssssssee you're at least awake." he said and grinned a little. He turned back to Dokuja. "I'll get you all food. Kasshoku isssssss incompetent anyway."

Kitsune rolled her eyes at Dokuja nd folded her arms, sticking her tongue out as she did. "So rude!" she muttered as she sat down with her bag against the wall.

Shimauma blinked at the huge snake. Something told him not to trust Kinage just yet. Even if he was Dokuja's 'daddy'. He looked to her and frowned. "What's your game?" Shimauma hissed at Dokuja.

Dokuja looked at Shimauma, her grin quickly falling. "Food. Of course." she said simply. They could believe whatever the hell they wanted to. But she wasn't going to tell them the truth. "Daddy.." she said.

Kinage looked down at her again, unblinking. "Yessssss?"

Dokuja turned back to him, looking up at him sweetly and rolled her tongue in another hiss, talking to him in their language.

Kinage listened closely, then an evil smirk crossed his snake lips, revealing his two, very long fangs. "Indeed..." he hissed, thinking. He watched Dokuja as she smiled up at him mischeviously. "Very well. So long as you hold up your end of the bargain."

"Trust me." Dokuja smiled.

"Bargain? What bargain?" Shimauma asked impatiently, his hands pressedup firmly against the glass as he watched the snake. But he did glance at Kitsune. How could she be so bubbly and happy when she was locked up?

"I'll jussssst go get that food for you all." Kinage said with that evil grin. He uncurled himself and turned to go, slithering across the floor, but as he went, his tail flicked at the hinges of their cage doors, easily unhinging them and making them swing open. "Be good now." he hissed as he left.

Dokuja grinned just as maliciously as she stepped out of her cage, her movements sultry and smoothe, her hips carrying a natural sway. "Love you, papa." she called and smiled at Shimauma and Kitsune.

"He's going to break you out of there, isn't he?" Shimauma questioned Dokuja without looking at her. "Why didn't you do it earlier?" He looked up at the ceilng of the cell as he had before. "He could turn, you know."

Dokuja groaned and rolled her eyes. She walked to their cages and pulled open their doors as well, opening Shimauma's last. She stood in his doorway and looked down at him, somewhat leaning against the door with a smirk.

Shimauma raised an eyebrow at her as he stood up. "What's funny?" He asked as pushed past her and stood outside his cell, his arms crossed over his chest. "If you think you're going to get something in return for getting me out of here, there's no chance in hell. I've got nothing." Other than a tail and stripes on my arms..

Dokuja chuckled a little, deep in her throat, and shook her head, moving around him. "I wasn't asking for anything." she said softly and traced a finger down his arm as she walked past and towards the door to the hallway. "Kinage will pretend nothing happened. That he went to get the food Kasshoku didn't get, and we escaped while he was gone. Then he'll try to capture us. Even if he doesn't get us all.. he'll still get the recognition he wants." she smiled evily. "So are we doing this thing or not?" She looked back at Shimauma and Kitsune over her shoulder, grinning.

He raised his chin and looked at her, thinking for a moment. Shimauma then shrugged and sighed. "Whatever, let's just get out of here." He began to move towards the hall without a second moments thought.

Kitsune quickly jumped up and skipped out of her cell. "Thanks!" she said to Dokuja her bright yellow fox eyes sparkling as she said it. She then quickly turned and followed Shimauma.

Dokuja watched her go, then grinned to herself. No.. thank you for being my distractions. she thought and walked out after them. She closed her eyes, able to walk without them open, and ran her fingers along the wall.

Shimauma looked around closely at each room which led off from the hallways. There were other cells full of creatures. Creatures like him.. He swallowed and took a deep breath as he led the way. But he froze suddenly when he heard a familiar voice.

"Yeh well, she jus' didn't deserve food at the time, 'kay?" Kasshoku's voice echoed angrily around the hallways. "Yeh jus' doin' it to impress her. 'T impress Leader. Damn snake." There was a low roar as the grizzly shuffled back to his dorm.

"Don't be jealoussssssss, Kasshoku." came Kinage's voice afterwards. It was clearly heard, he was smiling. "If you wanted to impressssss the leader, you should do your job."

Dokuja chuckled to herself and walked past Shimauma, poking his back with a nail as she did. Her green eyes smiled at him in amusement and she moved on down the hall. She was getting out.

Kitsune followed behind Shimauma closely making no noise at all.

"If that snake turns, I swear I'll kill you." Shimauma glared at her back as she walked past him. He probably would, too. Now was not the time for joking around. Especially with Shimauma. "Where is it, anyway?" He asked, looking around for the huge serpent.

"He'll meet up with us later." Dokuja shrugged and motioned for them to follow her, slinking through the hallways as if she belonged there.

Shimauma rolled his eyes. "Oh, great." He murmered sarcastically. There was a buzz of noise as a pack of dogs piled out of one of the rooms, quite a ways from the three. The three were out of eyesight of the dogs as they sprinted down the hallway.

"He's gone! Been taken! Taw! Murdered!" One of the dogs howled to another as they carried on running, their armour clinking as they went.

"We have to get out of here..now, before they find us." Kitsune said quietly.

Dokuja chuckled a little and shrugged. "What's the hurry? I'm not leaving without some sort of weapon." she said. "I know where the store room is." she winked. "Follow if you like."

"Store room?" Shimauma raised his eyebrow at her. Why did Dokuja's plan seem so.. dodgy? "Fine, I'll goddamn follow you. As long as it means getting out of this place, I don't care. Just hurry up already." He sighed as he brought a hand to his face and stroked the facial hair on his cheeks. It was white hair, with black stripes faded into it. Part of the experiments' work.

"What do we need weapons for? We just need to get out of here and hide." Kitsune said quietly, her fox instincts to stay hidden and therefore safe coming out.

"Sure, we can run and hide, but I'm not about to get caught again." Dokuja said and walked on down the hall, getting further away. She walked so carelessly. She found the room easily and opened the door, stepping inside.

Shimauma frowned when he saw the size of the store room. "Eh, it's tiny. There is no way I will fit in there." He crossed his arms over his naked chest.

"Fine." Dokuja called from inside. It was dark inside, but she could see her way around just fine. She grinned when she saw what she was looking for. "Perfect." she said and reached out, grabbing the pouch filled with silver throwing needles, each ten inches long. She licked her lips. Projectiles... covered in poison and thrown at the right target, these could easily take out anything the size of an elephant. She strapped them around her hips and fastened them to her skirt, then looked around. "Hmm." she smiled and grabbed a couple long spears. "A little out-dated." she shrugged and left the room. She tossed them to Shimauma easily and smiled. "Have fun."

"Can we go now?" Kitsune said peering round her nervously.

Shimauma eyed his new weapons curiously before feeling the end of one of the spears. Sharp. Extremely sharp. "Yeah, let's get moving." He said low with a nod.

Dokuja chuckled softly to herself and walked on ahead of them, her hips still naturally swaying as she did, her bare feet not making a sound. Her hair framed her face and shoulders, slightly covering one eye. She looked about ready to kill someone and bathe in their blood just for the hell of it. She suddenly made a turn into another hallway and started walking down through there.

The essence of dog wafted around this certain corridor. It was the one which the pack of dogs from earlier had disappeared down. "There must be an exit here somewhere.." Shimauma whispered, glancing around. "There were dogs, they ran down here." He kept his two spears close to him.

"I don't like this...something doesn't feel right..." Kitsune whispered.

Dokuja simply smiled to herself, licking her lips. She moved smothly to the end of the hall, then stopped and looked both ways before continuing forward. Honestly, she wasn't worried at all. She was out of her cage now. She could kill every animal in that compound if she wanted to. It would take a lot of them, in special suits, with cattle prods to take her down. They couldn't touch her, or else they'd die. Simple as that. Actually, she had a feeling that most of them were afraid of her. Clearly. She laughed to herself, deep and low in her throat. An evil laugh.

Just what is she on? Shimauma frowned as he watched Dokuja in front of him. She was strange alright, no question about it. Even if she was a Hybrid, she was still strange. "You do know where you are going, don't you?" He asked her gruffly, starting to feel less hope of getting out of the building. He did keep an eye out for that huge grizzly, too however.

Kitsune remained quiet now as she crept along her nose in the air slightly as she smelt all the different scents of the animals.

Dokuja smiled back at Shimauma over her shoulder. "Of course I do. Daddy works here, remember?" she grinned. She turned back and kept walking, then stopped when they reached a door at the very end of the hallway. "Right this way." she said, stepping aside. The door was the only service exit out of the building in case of a fire. Of course, if the door was opened, the fire alarm would sound, but that was a risk they'd have to take. She'd have no problem opening it. All they needed to know was, "Freedom is right outside this door."

Kitsune walked up to the door hopping slightly with excitment. "Let's get out now!"

Shimauma eyed the door carefully, and his equine senses sensed that the pack of dogs had exited the building through this door, and now so would they. "Alright, let's go." He said firmly, stepping forward. The dogs could be standing just outside the door, but Shimauma didn't care. He wanted out of the place. To be rid of it. To go home. The male Hybrid pushed the bars on the door and it sprung open. Of course, it alerted the alarm, and it sounded loudly. Whirring and whirring as red lights flashed above their heads on the corridor ceiling. "C'mon!" Shimauma yelled as he raced out of the door.

Dokuja let out a laugh. "Now's the fun part!" she laughed as she ran after him. She was fast, even though her feet hardly moved. It was almost like she was dancing after him, the silver needles around her hips jingling. She let out her low-sounding hiss again, back over her shoulder and suddenly the alarm was shut off.

Kitsune started off a sprint showing amazing speed as she ran. She couldn't help but laugh as she ran. "Wheeeee!" she said happily as she ran easily kept up with Dokuja, even passing by her.

It wasn't a game. At least to Shimauma it wasn't.. But he sprinted too, as fast as he possibly could. What surrounded the labs was a forest. A great place for hiding in. Just what the three needed. "We going in there?" He called out, nodding to the trees.

Dokuja nodded and was soon at the lining of trees. She chuckled and dragged a finger along the middle of a tree, leaving a line of poison along the bark. "It feels good to be free, eh?" she smiled back at them.

"Dokuja..?" came a hiss from behind them. Somehow, Kinage had managed to shut off the alarm, make up a story to keep the other animals from investigating, and catch up to them quickly.

"Daddy!" Dokuja laughed evily, running to him. She threw her arms around his thick neck and hugged him. In a swift maneuver, she was up on his back and riding him as he slithered towards Shimauma and Kitsune.

Kitsune watched afraid of the snake. She stepped backwards until her back touched the bark of a tree.

I'm not going anywhere near that thing.. Shimauma thought with a grimace as he followed after them. He looked over his shoulder at the labs. They were a lot bigger from the outside. Much bigger. There were hardly any windows of course. Each cell in the labs had no window of their own. Shimauma shivered lightly before shaking the thoughts out of his head and running on again.

When they were far enough away, and deep in the woods, Kinage stopped and Dokuja slid off his back. "Thissssssss is where I part with you." he hissed, looking down at her.

"I know." Dokuja grinned. She held up a hand, her fingers glistening with poison. "Ready?" she asked, her eyes flashing.

Shimauma skidded to a stop and slammed his spears down into the mud of the forest floor and waited. "Ready for what, exactly?" He asked Dokuja, eyeing her suspiciously. "Why are you hanging around when we have no time to waste?"

Dokuja turned to look at Shimauma with a blank, bored expression. "There hasssssss to be supporting evidence to every ssssstory." she said and turned back to Kinage. "Hold your breath."

Kinage nodded and turned his head away slightly, closing his eyes and holding still. "Do it." he said softly.

Dokuja smiled and slid her fingers in a line down Kinage's side, then again down his back, making them look like scratch marks. The poison fizzed in his open cuts, making the giant snake scream in agony. She reveled in the sound.

Kitsune watched in horror as she stood close to Shimauma finally her ears lying flat against her head to try and drown out the screams.

"Just what the fuck are you doing?!" Shimauma yelled. "They'll come after us now that they can hear that thing!" He growled now, picking both of his spears out of the ground with a low grunt as he did so.

"That's the point!" Dokuja snapped with an evil look on her face, a malicious grin. "He'll go back to the compound, wounded, near death. Because of me. They'll think--no, they'll know--we escaped. They won't know how, though. And they'll think Kinage came after ussssss. But we got away." she smiled and turned back to Kinage. "Hurry back. The poison will kill you in five minutes. Get an antidote." she whispered and planted a poisoned kiss on his back, making him scream again.

Kinage nodded, already whoozy from the poison running under his scales, and turned, slithering weakly, but still quickly, back towards the compound.

Dokuja watched him go, smirking to herself, then turned and walked on. "Let's go."

Although the huge snake had probably slaughtered thousands of humans, Shimauma still felt some kind of sadness for it. He didn't know why. It was probably something to do with his past. But he couldn't remember a thing before he was brought into the cell by that huge, lumbering grizzly which was most probably arguing with his own shadow in his dorm. He finally gave a brief nod to Dokuja and followed after her.

Kitsune followed after them. "So where are we going exactly?" she asked.

Dokuja gave a shrug. "Wherever we want. We're free now." she said simply, walking leisurely. She licked her lips for a moment and looked around. She was still hungry. And thirsty, for that matter. Even on the forest floor, her feet never made a sound.

"Wherever we want? How about home?" Shimauma growled in his throat as he kicked at the forest floor. His tail was swishing angrily as he walked. He did give Dokuja a few glares from time to time, however. Why was she so.. strange? Why didn't she seem to care at all? Shimauma could hear different sounds coming from inside the forest with his equine senses. The sounds seemed to belong to something living.. But Shimauma couldn't quite put his finger on what..

Dokuja could hear everything too, very well. She looked up at the sky when she heard a flock of crows heading their way and she turned, pushing both Shimauma and Kitsune backwards against a couple trees with a stern look. If anything, she looked like she was about to kill them both.

Kitsune yelped. "Let me go!" she cried trying to push Dokuja off.

"Goddammit, what now?!" Shimauma glared at her, his eyes flashing angrily. "Get the hell off of me!" Then he paused his shouts when he let his eyes move from Dokuja and up to the sky. "Wha-?" Shimauma whispered as his eyes found the black birds.

"Shut up, or I will poison you both where you stand!" Dokuja hissed softly, glaring at Kitsune, unmoving. She pressed herself closer to them both, using the tree's shade as a cover. "Stay completely still."

Kitsune looked up to where Shimauma's eyes had travelled and gasped slightly. She remained completely still now, afraid to move.

Shimauma's teeth gritted together as his lips thinned. I'm being told what to do by a girl! He thought, annoyed. But he stayed still however, watching the birds closely.

When the birds had passed overhead, Dokuja pushed herself back away from Shimauma and Kitsune. "They're on the look out for something. And I doubt it's us." she growled and turned, continuing on. Something wasn't right.

"What do you think it is then?" Kitsune asked as she straightened up.

"Yeah, you seem to know a hell of a lot about this place, so you ought to know." Shimauma grunted, folding his arms, watching her carefully.

Dokuja stopped and slowly turned to face them, her face blank, but her eyes laughing. After a moment's silence, she grinned a little. "I have no clue." she said softly and turned, moving on. "But it'll be fun to find out."

Kitsune watched her and couldn't help but feel a slight bit of excitment. "Yeah lets find out!"

Shimauma grimaced at Kitsune. "Don't egg her on.." He muttered. He just wanted to go home.. away from the labs, away from the forest, away from the animals, and mostly the two females of course. He felt rather stupid having to tag along with them. "Like I said, this isn't some kind of game. It's reality." He added, louder.
