I guess I'm just a mortal dreamer,
Dreaming in a world of nightmares.
And you are the reality in these dreams of mine.
And it is for your bleeding heart I weep tonight.
Your smile is one of sadness,
And your soul, one of dispair.
But, alas, I think I love you,
Should I tell you?
Shall I dare?
Will you return the heartsong that I sing?
Yes, I'll admit that I am smitten,
But from your teeth,
My heart's been bitten.
I guess I'm just a mortal dreamer in this world.
