Chapter 2: The new kid

“Ugg that has got to be the most boring class in the entire world!” Jade exclaimed

“Tell me about it I mean could Mrs. Mahoney be anymore of a bitch. So I answered the question wrong, big deal it’s nothing to get a detention for.” Yokei complained

“Well, look at it this way now I’ll have a detention buddy and I won’t be as bored. Yippee!” Jade said happily sarcastic

“Haha very funny. I have to go to class now I’ll see you later” he said as he walked away

As she laughed Jade walked to her next class which just happened to be her favorite; herbology. This class came really easy to her it was like she was born to work with herbs. When she entered the class a body stopped her from getting to her seat.

“Hey bitch you’re in my way” that voice was like ten thousand nails scratching on a chalkboard.

“Actually Clarissa I think it’s the other way around. You’re in my way” and just like that Jade shoved the nasty girl aside as if she weighed nothing. Then she walked past her fallen body and sat down in her chair in the back.

“Ms. Tpaba are you seriously going to let her get away with that?” Clarissa asked in her nasally little voice

“I’m sorry my dear I wasn’t paying attention now what happened?” the old woman asked in her heavy Russian accent

“Arrrg!” Clarissa then proceeded to stomp over to her seat in anger. Ms. Tpaba winked at Jade knowing what happened.

Clarissa Jones is an American that moved to Japan when she was eight years old and is the most spoiled brat that Jade has ever had the displeasure of meeting. She thinks that just because her father owns Jones Hotels that she is entitled to everything she wants. The only reason she hates Jade is because Urusai pays more attention to Jade than he does to her… actually he doesn’t pay Clarissa any attention at all which makes her even more angry.

Ms. Tpaba is an old Russian lady who teaches the herbology class, her name actually means ‘herb’ and she knows everything about herbs; she knows what herbs are poisonous and which ones are not and what herbs are used for a certain injuries. Since Jade is incredible good at herbology, she is Ms. Tpaba’s favorite student; she also acts like a grandmother towards the young girl.

“Alright class let’s get started with today’s lesson. Ok, to begin who can tell me…” but she was interrupted when the door opened to revel the principal and someone Jade didn’t recognize. He spoke to her for a little while before leaving.

“Ok, class we have a new student today named Mamoru Hidenka.”
