Other: Mr. McVicar usually wears dark jeans and a deep-colored button-up. It is also notable that he only wears his glasses during allergy season and on lab days, opting to wear contacts the rest of the time.

History: For as long as Mr. McVicar was old enough to read, he was a fan of mysteries and crime novels. However, he learned as he grew up that real-life crime-fighters do not live such glamorous lives and--more importantly--that sometimes it takes years for the "happy ending" to occur, if it ever does. While he is still a fan of mystery fiction and a supporter of real heroes, he has found that his powers of observation are better suited for classroom experiments and aiding students.

Personality: Mr. McVicar is rather stern when it comes to student safety and laboratory procedures, but is otherwise a rather optimistic person. He especially loves to point out patterns and real-life applications to what he teaches.
