I think the Vampire coven embroiled in a war is pretty good [youngblood] 11:56pm pretty much. I do want to keep the coven in. Over all there is a coucil, whiich is made up of the heads of the species in the world [Anthony Thomas] 11:58pm right, the Triage correct? [youngblood] 11:59pm up! [Anthony Thomas] 12:00am hmmm, ok. So are we going to work with the same story line completely or rework it? [youngblood] 12:01am I just realized I have to go to work, but I should be back on around sixish. I was thinking it could have something to do with the fact the pureblood males are sterile [youngblood] 5:26pm can you expand that idea? do you mean that the war has something to do with it? [Anthony Thomas] 5:28pm or was maybe perhaps inadvertently started by it. Like maybe one of the women picks as a mate a male from one of the more stable morphed clans. Stable to the point where at first they don't know he's unstable or for that matter more than human. He turns, kills her and the Purebloods declare war on the morph clan. The leader of the group then draws in others because he weilds that kind of power and influence, thus you get a domino effect that leads to the war [youngblood] 5:30pm hmmm. How about that the last Queen pick a mate that abused the power given to him causing an uproar among the morphed due to the balance of power. so now there is a war going on between the morphed clans of who will marry the next heir. [Anthony Thomas] 5:32pm or he was particularly antagonistic towards a specific type of morphed/elemen [youngblood] 5:33pm okay i like that better so we need to decide what species the ing was and what group he antagonizied [Anthony Thomas] 5:35pm Hmmm, well are there beings from fantasy or just those found in real life? [youngblood] 5:36pm fantasy. there r vampire, werewolves, exc [Anthony Thomas] 5:37pm ah ok, so normally one would think i'd be a pissy were-wolf who was perhaps born the runt of a large litter (basically a major napolean complex) so there's that or perhaps a normally more subdued critter whose come into to much power and likes it to much [youngblood] 5:38pm i'd prefer the sub critter. That way when he's described (Hes dead by the way as the stpry takes place.) we can start out with him as a likable chracter but show how he became deformed because of the power [Anthony Thomas] 5:39pm sounds good now which critter to chose [youngblood] 5:39pm let me look at my list of creatures and pick a few for us to decide on [Anthony Thomas] 5:40pm okie [youngblood] 5:42pm siren, pheonix, dryad, Leparchaun, Kelpie Roane, [Anthony Thomas] 5:43pm Kelpie Roane? [youngblood] 5:43pm they're two different creatures. roane, is a seal that when it sheds it skin it can become human, but it needs to keep it's skin safe becuase to become a seal again needs to put the same skin back in Kelpie is a water creature that lives in lkes and rivers and takes the shape of a horse. when a traveler stops near the water it may mount the horse who will then drag it into the water and kill the rider by drowning. it doesn't usually take a human shape, but we can twiati it to were it does twiati= twist [Anthony Thomas] 5:47pm hmmm, how about a Dyriad, or would that be to obvious as to the culprit? [youngblood] 5:48pm how would it be obvious? [Anthony Thomas] 5:48pm Dryiads are some what sinister, and as to causing a war well there's bond to be reasons behind that which actually might be fun to explore [youngblood] 5:49pm then i'd like to stay away from that. I want our character to be conflicted with her father as she tries to fix mess he has created [Anthony Thomas] 5:50pm Maybe he knew something the others didn't and in his effort to achieve his ends he starts the war by accident and then she finds his diary during one of many battles which explains what he was trying to do and brings things into prespective? [youngblood] 5:53pm =what type of thing would he know be the issue? If he used his power negatively on another species what could have he known that would have made him do so? [Anthony Thomas] 5:54pm something that he could use the struggle between the others to achieve, or distract one faction long enough to retrieve what he was looking for [youngblood] 5:57pm so your saying he does one major attack because he wants something (could be infomation, an items or some goal). that one attack could be what seet the war off seet=set [Anthony Thomas] 5:58pm more like pits two or three factions against one in order to gain that information and the resulting others aligning with those they have alliances with is what sets the war off [youngblood] 5:59pm so your saying we make come up with one thing a few fractions want, but everyone gets sucked in due to alliances. [Anthony Thomas] 6:00pm No something the King wants, but is led to believe causing this tinder box to ignite is the only way to get it. He goes ahead with it and it spirals out of control, claiming him in the process and achieving whoever manipulated him into this goals [youngblood] 6:04pm i like the idea of taking the king as a a tinder box to the problem. i think we just need to decide what it is he was after or wanted or why he attack that species [Anthony Thomas] 6:05pm okie so we have the king. Who is after something that he thinks is being kept by one of the other species. now what should that be? a grimoire? [youngblood] 6:05pm well did we agree it should be a dryiad [Anthony Thomas] 6:05pm if you're good with it.
