The Child Thief by Brom review

The Child Thief is similar to the old story of Peter Pan, but placed in a Dark Fantasy setting. Instead of getting kids and bringing them to Neverland to play forever, he finds kids who are runaways, neglected or abused. Once he finds and befriends a kid he brings them through The Mist that protects the mystical world of Avalon from the world of man and they join his rag-tag group of warriors known as The Devils to fight against the land's enemy known as the Flesh-eaters in order to protect the magical Goddess refered to as the Lady. In this fantastical story you, mainly, follow Peter, and one of his Devils, Nick to the conclusion. Brom holds nothing back when it comes to describing the gruesome combat or filth of the non-magical world of man. So pick up the book today and find out what happens to Peter and his Devils. Are they strong enough to turn back the tide of the Flesh-eaters, or will they be destroyed like the land they love so much has been?

2011-05-29 [Karithina]: I've wanted to own this for ages because Brom is my art and career hero... I guess nothing is actually holding me back save for a measly €11 so I'll take your review's advice and buy it right now! :)

2011-05-29 [Lord Josmar]: Awesome. It is a great story that adds to his repertoire along side The Plucker and the Devil's Rose*

Im going to do a review on his other two titles once I have the second one finished.

(*I think that's the title of that one.)
