"Don't worry, we'll get snow for Christmas," Nagi said evenly. He rested his chin on his palms as he joined Nami at the window.

"It's not in the forecast," Nami said with a sigh.

"We'll get a white Christmas eventually, right?" he asked.

"We can only hope," Nami replied, blushing when she realized that she had spoken to Nagi.

"Hey," Lucas called. "Nami! Nagi! The bell rang!"

"Oh, right!" Nami slipped her coat on and fumbled with her bag, trying not to spill it.

Nagi watched her curiously. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine..." Nami said with more redness on her cheeks.

"Oh....kay...so why are you in a hurry?" he inquired.

"I'm meeting my mom at the mall," she replied as she started out the door.

"She's more bothered than that..." Nagi said confidently.

"Well, yeah, duh," Chloe rolled her eyes.

"Hi, Chloe...didn't see you there," Nagi slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Uh, you don't know why she was so flustered?" Chloe guessed.

"I don't know why, per sei," Nagi admitted. "Uh...do you?"

Chloe nodded. "Look up."

"Hmm?" Nagi glanced up at the mistletoe that the teacher had up for decoration. Normally it would be impossible for any two students to be under it considering that two people are never staring out the window together. "Wha?" his cheeks flushed red.

"I can't believe you didn't take that opportunity to kiss her," Chloe chuckled.

"Considering she left in a hurry, she really didn't want that," Nagi argued as he finally gathered his possessions.

"Considering you were the one under the mistletoe which means she'd kiss you and she's shy...no," Chloe reasoned.

"Well, by your reasoning that would mean she'd want me to kiss her," Nagi said dryly.

"Wow. Women really are better at reading body language than men," Chloe shook her head as she zipped her purse. "Well, happy holidays and good luck with that kiss thing."

"Kiss thing?" Nagi growled. "There is no kiss thing." Unless Chloe's right...but she can't be. My crush is one-sided...isn't it?

"You're still here?" Drake asked as he poked his head in the classroom door.

"Yeah, just getting ready..." Nagi sighed as he left the room, walking beside Drake.

"I thought you'd be following Nami like her puppy," Drake teased.

"Guy to guy...can you tell when a girl likes you?" Nagi asked, ignoring Drake's comment.

"Every girl likes me. Except Nami and Anka who have made it clear that they don't like me nor will they ever."

"And how'd they do that?" Nagi wondered.

"Well, I was bragging about how awesome I am saying I could get any girl in the world and showing off my charm...when those two stayed oblivious and made it clear through cruel words that I'd never get them..." Drake whimpered.

"Wow, even I could tell you that Anka'd like a boy who accepts her," Nagi said dryly.

"Yeah, yeah. And Nami'd like a boy who is nice to her, makes her feel that fluttery feeling, who is romantic, thoughtful, smart and who has pretty eyes," Drake added.

That seemed a little precise... Nagi thought as he glanced over at Drake. "Did she tell you that?"

"Countless times," Drake said as he opened a locker.

Nagi blinked, "Did she say...who...she likes?" He blushed, "If she even does...not that she has to...like anyone..."

Drake laughed, "If you like her, say so."

"W-what?" Nagi blinked.

"It's obvious that you like her," Drake said as he closed his locker. "You follow her everywhere, glare at any guy who so much as thinks about her...which it's freaky that you seem to has ESP...but back to my point, you drool over her when she does something, and you're so concerned about what she thinks of you that you're barely relaxed and never yourself."

"I am so..." Nagi froze. "...you're right..."

"I know..." Drake said softly. "Uh...you might want to focus on letting her get to know you before you fall in love with her."

Nagi crossed his arms over his chest. In love...with...her? Nagi considered it. His cheeks reddened, "I am not."

"Right," Drake rolled his eyes. "So...would you have already bought her something that took you forever to buy as a token of the love you deny...?"

"Err..." Nagi froze again.

"Relax. I'm just teasing you in good fun, man," Drake said with a grin.

"I know...I just..." Nagi shrugged, "Have no luck with articulation."

"Go talk to her," Drake said as he shoved Nagi forward.

"Cookies and milk?" Nami pleaded.

"Sure," Kelly said softly. "Did you buy Anka a gift?"

"Yes," Nami said with a smile.

"And Naagggiii?" Kelly grinned.

Nami's cheeks reddened, "Umm...no...I...don't really know what to get him..."

Kelly smiled, squeezing her daughter's cheek affectionately. "It's okay to like-like one of your friends."

"Huh?" she asked.

"I know you have a little crush on him. You can still be friends with him, you know..." Kelly whispered.

"W-what?" Nami's cheeks reddened further.

"I'm your mother, dear, I can see the way you look at him." Kelly said affectionately, "And I can see why you like Nagi."

Anka clutched her small wallet tightly in her fingers as she glanced up at the front of a new store. "I wonder if I can find something for Nami in here..." She muttered thoughtfully, slipping past the beaded entrance and into the slightly darkened interior.

Glancing around she noticed all kinds of strange and bizarre items lining the shelves and walls. She browsed for a long while before she came across something that caught her interest.
