She walked through a forest, the fog grabbing at the bottom of her cloak, the cold seeping through her shoes. She hurried on, ever remembering the guilt that rode her back like a mule carrying it's burden. Following the path, she became aware of something following her. Panicked, she turned around, time slowing down as she came face to face with a Fear.
Tall and terrible he stood, thin hand reaching for her, fingers tracing her skin like blades of ice. The guilt and dread flowed through her, stronger with each heart beat. Glimpsing a trio of three figures through the trees, she fled, escaping Fear's embrace. She came to a stop, the Guilt of her past driving her to her knees, her past deeds ever present in her mind as the trio, her beloved three, turned their backs on and walked into the mist.
Guilt nipped at her heels like a hound, driving her further down the path, finally withdrawing after a good distance.
The air took on a golden hue as she walked, and the air grew warm. Birds sat in the trees, sins and names dripping like blood from their feathers, sticking to her cloak. She stopped at a tree, resting, fingers lightly carressing the names written there, surrounded by a heart. She looked and saw other names, other trees, other hearts.
The birds watched her as she walked on, flying over her head, the sins and things she'd called herself dripping and falling down, clinging to her. the more she walked, the more sins fell, more memories grabbed at her feet with skeletal hands from the ground. Finally overwhelmed, unloved slid down her face like a bloodred tear and dragged her down, useless and worthless chaining her wrists to the ground, the memories dragging her lower, the sins buring her alive.
She closed her once blue eyes and surrendered, falling into the embrace of Darkness, the king. Story finished by Mike Sanders
And with this, the once great King, the true King, now stands before her, offering His life in place of hers. She that thinks her life useless and worthless, means everything to Him, the King, the Ruler of all, this seemingly insignificant girl, means everything to the King, so much so that He would give up His life for her.
Thus He saves her from this hell in which she resides, He saves her from the sins that fly o'er her head, the memories of her past, the things that she sees as failures in herself. Above all He opens her beautiful blue eyes to a place where there is no darkness, no feeling of loneliness, worthlessness, uselessness, or the feeling of being unloved.
This is the true reality, is it not?
The love from a Father that none can see, but everyone can have. This world in which you see is indeed a nightmare, but that can change, dream love, have the sweet dreams in that which you should. You are free.
