The Four Kingdoms of De’gal

 
Northern Star kingdom-



Capital City: Kalaqa

A cold barren land that trades in mining metals and jewels; Known for their blacksmiths and heavy clothing where. They are more of a Viking people who live more to the north in the mountains surrounded in thick forest, and very little framing lands. The people of the north are a more of the independent kind, who has warriors trained in the arts of heavy battle fair; heavy swords, axes, lance ECT. Also the new emperor is a very well trained Knight in the art of true war. Women in this area, most have long fallowing hair if born in the court of the Northern Star, then the women who are not of the Court have shorter hair, and are commonly trades workers, foods, clothing, framing if any; or family businesses. Men in the Court are usually wear the colors of their family or lords, their hair is cut short and clean; older men have facial hair if they grow any, men not of the court are men who work in the mines, blacksmiths, and such. The gods the pray to are Arith and Drayereth; these two have the largest temples.

Arith Temple is a place where most wedding and celebrations take part in. Its golden walls and lovely Bath house out in the back; make it one of the most well known temples in De’gal.

Drayereth Temple is one of the most eerie temple but beautiful none the less. A place where both funerals and courts of law take place. The wall are made all from a black stone to which glows when light is shine on.    

Eastern golden sun kingdom-



Capital City: Shirobashi

A land to which is bright and green, full of farms, and rivers; the trades of the country is its rice and framed goods, but its most popular trade is the silks the make from the silk river, its most popular with the Southern fires kingdom. The land is full of growth and love; the people of the country are friendly; but skilled in hand to hand combat; Chinese blades, long blades and short. They are a people who believe in stealth. The queen of the is a women who is well known in the art of a steel fan. The women of this court has either short or long hair, but is always pulled back, never down unless home or married, they are trained as entertainers, and some even to fight. Women not in the court are framers, silk weavers. The men of the court have long tied back hair and are very skilled in the art of combat, the men not of court all trained to be men in the army, or farm for its country. The gods they pray to are Nenyrle and Sellra.

Sellra temple is a place where the walls are tall and painted by hand of all nature and truth as they say, stories of that once was. The temple is a place for children who no longer have a home or family, and are raised as children of Sellra.

There isn’t a temple for Nenyrle, but a statue in the center of the city Shirobashi. Where the words are so scratched out that no one can read it anymore….
 
Western winds kingdom-



Capital City: Poleos

Is lush forest and very strong when it comes to its fishing, the land is more forest then farm lands, but they have wonderful fishing, they have perfected the art of fishing in this country, and it’s beautiful white sandy beaches are a very popular attraction, the king of this land has sailed and became one of the most talented mages known to De’gal. The women of this court are all singers and have voice like angles; the ten to keep their hair shorter and kept up, as for the women who do not live at court, they help the men when they go out to sea; they also handle the icing and gutting of the fish when brought in; other handle the hotels and inn on the beach ways. The men of the court her have extremely short hair, they are also sailors or lords of the sea; they are well known for carpentries of boats and other woods. Most of the men fish or a selected to become fighter in their areas. The gods they pray to are Ithys and Chydim.

Ithys temple is on the beach, and fully open no walls; it Greek like setting, makes this temple a place to live, the incented fallow through beaches giving a dreamy effect.

Chydim temple is in the center of the capital city Poleos; where it is known for its famous weddings for lords and royals; its blue marble walls and pillars make for its cheerful feel when it is entered.

Southern Fires kingdom-



Capital City: Rhoiloroith

Sands and mountains and the harsh heat of the sun command this country; it is home to the fire breathing dragons of De’gal. They prefer the heat and warm sands to keep their scales healthy; The king of this land is said to be able to speak with dragon kin, being dragon himself, half and half or wyvern as they call it, a battle harden knight, and rides a masters dragon the color of fire itself. They very rarely leave the sand of the Southern Fires. They are all true warriors, and quite strong compared to the other kingdoms for their military. They trade stones for buildings and their service of their dragon kin. Also they train all four kingdoms young men, and some of the women if sent. The women of this court, has their extremely short cut hair, they are also all battle harden as well, to protect their house from any dangers, women who do know live at the fire court have long hair and are keepers of taking care of dragon kin. Men of the court ride along side of their king on might dragons with short hair as well; men not born at the court are trained to become carvers for sand stone and such. The gods that they pray to are Onalth, Azal and Azalix.

The temple of Onalth is the main site of Fire sands training; his temple is built right out from a sandstone mountain side.
