Joss fluttered down from his window balcony and lit on the grass. He assumed that Morgan with her super speed would be waiting on him. He stepped over to the eged of the deepest pool and dipped his toes into the water. It was cool but not too cool. He waited there for the others.

Morgan walked out into the yard and over to the pools. She was wearing black swimming trunks with a lime green stripe down the seam. She wore a matching bikini top with lime green stripes on it. Morgan also had on a pair of dark glasses over her eyes. Her jet black hair shimmered in the sunlight. "Dang...you beat us?" she said to Joss, walking over to him.

Crys walked in behind Morgan. She was wearing a small red bikini and had her dark blue towel wrapped around her waist
Joss turned around when he heard Morgan's voice. He was about to answer her but for some strange reason he produced a sonic squeek which caused the water to ripple.

Morgan noticed the water ripple for no reason and assumed it was from Joss, "What was that?" she asked, walking over.

Crys raised an eyebrow curiously. She figured that that ripple had to come from Joss. "Yeah, Joss, what was that?"
Joss cleared his throat "Nothing." He squeeked

Arthur walked into the pools, two figures following him "Guys! I met two new people in the hall!"

Mort followed Arthur into the pools, slightly unsure about this. He waved nervously at the people there since he didn't really know anyone.

"Hi." Amy said, waving her hand. She was wearing a full body suit. All visible of her actual self was her jelly-like face.

Arthur grinned "This is Amy" he pointed to the jelly in a suit "And this is Mort" he pointed to the walking skeleton "They just arrived."

"Hi!" Crys shouted, turning toward the new people. She smiled brightly

Mort jumped as crys yelled out, he wasn't used to people let alone hyper people.

"Hello." Joss said offering his hand to mort, "Nice to meet you, I'm Joss miller.'

mort took his hand caustiously "Im Mortimer Jace" he said, nodding slightly "And yeah we're new here."

"We are too." Joss told him 'I arrived yesturday. So did Morgan, Crys and Aurthor." he pointed them out as he said their names

Crys waved to Mort and Amy as Joss introduced her. "So other than appearances, what do you two do?"

"Greetings fellow students." Morgan said with a wave, "I'm Morgan."

"As far as I know, that's it." Amy admitted, "It's a highly corrosive acid...so no touchy. I kinda destroyed the lawn in the front...heh..."

Mort shrugged slightly "Im what you see, a living skeleton. I cant feel or eat or anything." He turned his head to Amy "We're... kinda stuck like this. Well Amy might be able to turn back one day but Im like this no matter what."

"The big blue, furry doctor gave me some test tubes and other devices that I can work with in my room. My mom and dad were scientists....I kinda take after them." Amy admitted.

Morgan smirked, she looked relevantly normal, aside from the purple streaks in her hair, her purple eyes, and the wings on her feet. She thought that she would demonstraite what she can do. Morgan ran across the surface of the pool water at super fast speeds. The water split a little but she was already near the two new kids when it did. "I run fast." she winked.

Mort jumped when he found Morgan inches from him "I uhh... Im n-not used to p-p-people" he stuttered "Please dont do that." He hoped to god he was going to stop jumping soon. He looked ridicules, a skeleton scared of normal people.

Morgan stood her ground, "Sorry, thats just how I am." she grinned. "You're going to have to get used to it."

"Or I could just kill myself. Yup, the last one's easier" Mort mumbled before reaching up and pulling his own head off. He threw it at Morgan like a baseball before his body keeled over backwards.

"WOA!" Morgan was thrown off balance a bit when she caught the skull. "This is SO hardcore!" She looked to the group as a whole, "Imagine the haunted house we could to this fall?! We've got a living skeleton, a humanoid bat, a jelly girl, living hair that grab people as they walk through and Crys...who I'm sure could whip up some more effects. And I can-" she paused for a moment to think. "Well I'm completely useless in this case, but hell it was my idea!"

Mort stared up at her "How did you know I was joking?" he asked, his body getting up and dusting itself off.

Arthur raised his eye brows when he looked around at the clatter of bones on the floor as Mort's body fell over "Neat trick.." he mumbled.

"Cause who the hell would just kill themselves next to a pool while surrounded by new friends? Not to mention that you are practically dead already. I'm a quick thinker too, you know." Morgan said coyly.

"Me" Mort said stonily, his unchanging face not showing whether he was joking or not. Something sparked though "Freinds? Already?"

"Why not?" Joss asked "Who else are we gonna hang out with?" He indicated the entire group "We are the entire student body so far this year."

"And I find it odd that Crys and I are the only two rooming together." Morgan puckered her lips.

"Well it's not like there arent enough rooms." Joss offered "Mis. Frost aparently had a diecent idea. You and Crys really havent fought much today."

"We kinda talked about it when we were changing." Morgan explained. She tightened the ropes on her trunks.

Crys nodded. "I think we're good for now." She took her gameboy off it's holster. "As for what I can do, since everyone else showed what they do. I bring video games to life..."

Arthur grinned, it was good to know that Morgan and Crys were being nice to each other. "Here that, no attacking Morgan or Joss" Arthur hissed up to Locks

"We met some more people earilier... what were they called now? Joselyn and Java? Oh and there's another new boy who arrived. David I think." Mort said, staring at the ground and nodding slightly as if agreeing with himself.

"Joselyn kinda ditched us though.....Oh well." Amy shrugged.

"Joselyn kinda got called away, she seemed really angry." mort said, scratching his chin gently "Wonder what was wrong?"

"Oh well, who cares?" Morgan said quickly, "Pool time!" She quickly walked over to the edge and put her glasses off her nose and into her head.

Arthru walked over to the edge as well, looking down into the water "Time for a little dip" he said. He jumped up and cannon balled into the pool.

Morgan darted to the other end of the pool, avoiding the splash. When he came back up, she ran to the middle of the pool and stopped. Instantly after she stopped running, she plopped into the center of the pool, going underwater.

Arthur began to swim steadily, Locks swaying behind him making him look like a massive brown jellyfish. He headed straight for Morgan, humming the theme from Jaws.

Mort went up to the edge of the pool and looked down into the depths "Uhhh.. no thanks" he mumbled, taking two steps back.

"Might not be such a good idea for me either." Amy grinned, "I don't wanna kill ya." she winked.

"Can't you swim, Mort?" Crys asked him curiously. She could tell why Amy wouldn't want to get into the water.
Joss walked to the edge of the pool and steppe in up to his waiste.

"Swim with what?" Mort asked, flapping his arms wildly "It's all about body weight to the amount of space you cover isn't it?"

"HA!" Arthur exclaimed as Locks wrapped tightly around Morgan's ankle. He began to wrap slightly higher incase Morgan took off and might hurt her self.

Morgan turned at him in the pool and glared playfully, "I'm not so sure you want to do that...." she grinned, plotting.

Arthur held onto her leg tight "Try me" he mumbled, the top half of his head poking out from the water. Locks immediatley raised up slightly, pressing his dreads together to create a shark fin poking from the water.

Morgan took that comment as a challenge. She went underwater and spun horisontally, twisting Lock's tightly around himself.

Arthur was yanked down after some pulling, Locks making himself longer until he decided it was enough. Arthur took a deep breath before being pulled under, blushing slightly when he suddenly found himself pressed against a bikini clad Morgan very tightly.

Morgan's eyes grew wide under water and she stood up, pulling Arthur with. "What the hell was that?!" she shouted at him, pushing him away.

Arthur blushed more and coughed up a little water "I... I didn't mean too." Locks had shot back to normal the moment they'd resurfaced "Locks didn't let go and I sorta got pulled in."

Morgan gave Arthur and firm, yet friendly punch in the shoulder, "I don't blame ya," she joked.

Arthur blushed and looked down, then looked up again when he started drowning "S-sorry" he mumbled.

Morgan looked over at Crys, "You getting in or what?"

Crys took her gameboy holster off her hip and handed it to Mort. "Well since you won't be swimming, you can hold this for me." She smiled as sweetly as she could. "Thanks so much! Please don't lose them though, ok? I don't really have any powers without them..." She smiled again and cannonballed right in front of Morgan

Morgan's expression was annoyed. She smiled evilly, "Your SO going to regret that."

"Yeah right!" Crys replied, arcing a wave of water into Morgan's face.

Morgan ignored the splash and kept her sinful grin, plotting her moves.

"Bring it on already. What're you scared?" Crys asked, taunting her with fake splashes

Morgan kept her smile as she sunk deep underwater.

Crys yawned and stretched out her arms as Morgan sunk underwater

Suddenly the water around Crys got rough and swirled. Morgan was swimming around her, creating a giant whirlpool that was sucking her in.

Crys cursed as the water whipped around her. She looked around and took a deep breath of air before she was pulled under by the force of the whirlpool
Feeling the force of the whirlpool Joss held onto the side of teh pool.

Mort fumbled the gameboy but managed to catch it. Cocking his head to one side he flicked the switch on. He let out a little laugh as the screen flickered on.

Arthur gave a little yelp as he started to get sucked down as well, Locks' limbs flailing around him haphazadly as he did.

Morgan reappeared over by Joss as the whirlpool ended, she didn't want to down the girl. "Oopsy." she joked as if she didn't mean to do that.

Arthur was holding Crys under the water gently, putting a finger to his lips. Lock's tentacles were swaying around them, he really did look like a giant squid. With a massive push all three of them, Crys, Locks and Arthur shot towards Morgan and Joss.

Crys let out a yelp as she was suddenly propelled toward Morgan and Joss by Arthur
Joss quickly chirped three times, stoppiong Crys in mid air with the first, the last two where miss aimed and he accidently send a cascade of water crashing over he and Morgan.

Morgan gulped an instant before the water crashed into them. She was underwater for a while before coming up after the water settled. Turning to find Joss, she said, "Umm...did you do that on purpose?" Before he could answer, Morgan skid her hand across the surface of the water, skimming a splash of water at Joss.

Joss shielded himself from Morgan's splash with his wing. "Sorry but no."

"How the heck did you stop her in midair? That was freaking sweet." Morgan applauded.

Crys looked at Joss curiously. "Ummmmmm how did you do that, Joss??"

Arthur was looking puzzled and Locks was poking the air infront of him wondering what had stopped him. "That felt wierd...." Arthur mumbled, blinking a few times.

"What?" Joss asked "OH sorry!" he cleared his throat, stopping the tone his second nostrils was creating. The echop he'd used on Crys disapeared and she went crashing to the water.

Morgan burst out laughing. Her stomach began to hurt from it and she leaned over. "Haha!" she grabbed Joss's arm momentarily to regain herself. Morgan let go with a giggling sigh.

Since Arthur had been holding onto Crys he hit the pool with a splash again. He whimpered "I seem to be getting soaked alot today..."

Joss froze when he felt Morgan grab his arm. She was wet, half naked and breathing heavily. He just stayed there, not moving.

"Oh my gosh..." Morgan regained herself, breathing normal now. "That was awesome." she said to Joss before adjusting her shoulder straps. They had slipped off a bit.

Crys surfaced and coughed, spitting out some water. "That was pretty cool, Joss!"
Joss shrugged "It was an accident."

"That sure was cool though!" Crys said with a grin ass he swam over to the high dive and climbed the ladder. "Do it again! Ok?"
"I'm not sure if I can but I'll try." Joss said

Arthur swam over and rested beside Joss, looking up at Crys as she climbed the high dive "Felt like a sound wave.." he mumbled to himself.

"Um... It was." joss answered

Arthur nodded slowly, he'd never learnt what Joss' power was. He'd though it had been obvious.

"I can produce sound waves and sonic screams." joss informed him,

"More to you than meets the eye" Arthur chuckled. He sunk slightly in the pool, glaring out just over the edge of the water.

Crys looked down at Joss. "Can you make another sound barrier, Joss?" She called down to him. She had a reassuring smile on her face. She was confident that he could, which would make this jump even more fun. She would be able to land on solid 'ground' and then fall into the pool. How cool was that???

Morgan waited patiently, somewhat annoyed that Crys was taking the attention from Joss onto herself. They had a great two days together so she wasn't too worried she would 'steal' him.

Arthur bit his lip gently, watching Crys. He liked her alot and he knew that she liked Joss. The problem was Morgan liked Joss as well. Damn bat Arthur thought then cursed himself for thinking that.

Mort wandered over to Amy's side, holding out the gameboy "You want a go? Im sorry for not giving it to you earler."

"No thank you, Mortimer. I'm not really into games like that." Amy explained, "It taints the mind."

"Hooray for tainted minds" Mort mumbled, starting to play the game himself.

Amy walked over to a white lawn chair along the side of the pool. She pulled another one up next to hers for Mort to sit.

Mort lay down beside Amy on the lawn chair, still beeping loudly with the gameboy "At least you can sit down now" Mort chuckled.

Amy grinned, "I think that I'm going to miss the feeling of the steamy water on my back in the shower though."

Mort chuckled "I miss baths... I can still take them but I cant feel it anymore. Atleast I can see underwater better now."

"Being liquid is kinda....odd. That Tom teacher guy helped me though." Amy came back.

"Tom? That wierd guy in the hawian shirt you mean?" Mort said, looking up from the gameboy.

"I didn't really pay attention to what he was wearing....He was a water man...enough said." Amy replied.

Mort thought back "Yeah, I think I remember him. nice guy?" he asked, going back to playing the game.

"Very nice. He already taught me how to hold myself together and not drip like a melting popsicles." Amy explained.

"Oh good" Mort said "Atleast you dont leave small puddles of yourself everywhere you go."

"I'll try." Joss told Crys.

Crys smiled and gave Joss a thumbs up. She looked over at Arthur and waved. "This is gonna be soooo cool!" She ran the length of the diving boar and cartwheeled in the air, hoping that Joss could throw up that sound barrier or this would be one painful bellyflop

Morgan grinned, "Joss...don't do it."

It was toolate for Joss to properly object but he tried mimiking the same sound. Wther it was going to work or not he had no clue

Arthur waved back, trying to hide the nervousness in his grin. Hitting solid ground, whether it was made of sound or not, was not usually a good idea. That was even if it worked!

Crys spread her arms out wide and closed her eyes, hoping Joss wouldn't let her down and the barrier would be there. She took a deep breath and said a little prayer in her head, sure was taking a long time to get there she thought absentmindedly. Just as soon as she breathed in SLAM!!! She collided with the water and all the air escaped from her lungs and the water flooded in. She let out a cry of pain as she came in contact with the water

Arthur watched as she dove down, thinking how pretty she looked as she fell. He was still tense though, wary of Joss' worry that his powers might not work. He bit his lip gently and watched intently then finnaly with a thunderous crash Crys hit the water full force. Yelling something that cannot be repeated... ever... he dove under the water at top speed, Locks expanding out around him and propelling him right to Crys. He scooped her up as he swam along, aiming upwards as he did. His speed practically catapulated his body out of the water, still with Crys in his arm. He landed on the side of the pool gracefully, Locks taking most of the landing. He blushed as he checked Crys' face. "Are you ok?" he mumbled.

"Dang!" Morgan gasped, "That's gonna hurt in the morning." She grabbed Joss's arm, "Come on, let's go see that monster welt.." Morgan sped towards them and dragged Joss along the surface of the water.

Crys coughed and spit a mouthfull of water out. She winced after the cough. "Hey Artie..."

Arthur blushed slightly "Hey..." He looked down at the huge red patch on Crys' bare stomach, practically all of her front was red "That'll teach you to beleive someone when they say they're not sure."

Crys coughed again and touched the raw skin on her chest. "Ouchie..." She frowned as she looked down at herself

Arthur smiled nervously "Looks like you'll be sleeping on your back for a while." He carefully put her on her feet "Are you ok?"

"I'm sorry." Joss said "I don't have very good controle over it yet/"

"I will be." Crys said with a gentle smile. She wrapped her fingers around Arthur's. She looked voer at Joss. "That's ok. Was the splash big at least?"

"It looked like Yellowstone" Arthur mumbled, holding her hand.

"Hell yes." Morgan gave the thumbs up.

Crys looked at Arthur with wide eyes. "Yellowstone?! Really???? Almost makes it worth it."

Arthur let out a loud laugh and patted Crys on the back "Dont try it again though, something bad might happen."

"Wanna play chicken?" Morgan offered with a hand on her hip.

Crys winced as she turned to look at Morgan. "Sure. Let's see you do that."

Morgan had an unsure look on her face. She wasn't sure if Crys was being mean or not. "What?"

Arthur laughed gently at the look on Morgan's face "You asked for a game of chicken, she's already belly flopped off the highest board. What are you gonna do now?"

Morgan raised her brow and looked at Crys, "I'm not chicken...but I'm also not really stupid." Her attention went back to Arthur and Joss, "That's not what I meant. I forgot the exact name for it. But since there are four of us we can play. You know? They game were one sits on another's shoulder's while trying to knock the other pair over?"
"I vote for Chicken." Joss said at the prospect of having a scantily clad female atop his shoulders.

"Alright! Chicken it is then." Morgan grinned. She assumed that Arthur wanted Ctys on his shoulders, given the way he was blushing at her earlier. Even if Crys didn't want to play, it was three to one. With that, Morgan hopped herself into the pool. "Oh! It's cold..." She wrapped her arms around her chest, to hide her....'goosebumps'.

Arthur smiled at Crys "Looks like Im going to have you on my shoulders" he said before blushing again. Morgan was attempting to kill him by embarresment wasn't she.

Crys smiled weakly. She was really not in any kind of mood to play Chicken right now. She was hurting like crazy from that belly flop. She gave Arthur a thumbs up. "I'm sure Locks can protect me from Morgan, right?"
Joss floated still in the pool. Unsre of how this was going to play out

Arthur smiled gently, looking over her raw stomach "If you dont want to play just say. I'll tell them that Im tired or something..."

Morgan leaned and floated on her back in the water. "You can't use Locks...thats a foul."

Arthur pouted "And it isn't fair that you want to push Crys off my shoulders when you just saw her slam bodily into the water."

"It's only a flesh wound....builds character." Morgan said while still floating on her back. She thought it was amusing that he wanted to protect her.

"Then you go and belly flop off the top board, then come down and ask her to do it." Arthur said, crossing his arms and laughing.

Morgan kept afloat, "As I said....I'm not stupid. Not to mention that I can dive."

Arthur pouted and felt his head jerk as Locks spread the dreads wide, flapping them as if saying "CHICKEN!"

Morgan heard the sounds and bent her body, sinking into the water. She kept her head in the water just below her nose. She raised a brow at him and rolled her eyes. After a moment, she rose slightly so she could speak, "You think we can beat 'em?" she asked Joss, already knowing the answer.
"Piece of cake." Joss said

Morgan stood straight in the pool and stretched her arms. Since she would be holding up Joss, she thought it best to move them around a bit. He was a thin guy, but she was just making sure.

"Um..." Joss asked "Who's on who's shoulders?"

"You're on mine of course." Morgan grinned as if she had thought of it no other way. "With the damage you had done the Crys already, I dont doubt you can do a little more."
"Isnt that cheating?" Joss asked he did not other to mention that he thought it was a little unfair consindering he was a guy and Crys was a girl.

"I don't think so. I mean it's one and and one girl versus one guy and one girl. Seems fair to me. Think ya can handle it?" Morgan asked with a smug grin as she leaned in towards him.

"Yes?" Joss said hoping it was what she wanted to hear

Crys looked at Arthur. "I'm ready if you are." She smiled at him. She knew that Locks would give her a helping hand no matter what.

"Um..." Joss sort of gestured to Morgan wondering how they where going to do the whole him on her shoulders thing.

"Just hope on." Morgan told him straight out. She walked in front of him and turned around. She held her breath and went under the water completely, allowing him a chance to get on.
Joss took a deep reassuring breath. he was about to straddle the shoulders of a girl he really likes. He soldiered on however and swung his legs over her shoulders.

While still submerged, Morgan got goosebumps when she felt his thighs go around her neck. Trying to ignore it, she grabbed his legs and hoisted herself out of the water. Her eyes were closed, "Could you get the hair out of my eyes? My hands are kinda full here."

Joss obliged her and pushed her hair back from her eyes.

Arthur slid into the pool quickly, standing with his back to the edge so Crys could climb on. He was trying to hide his blushes, though Morgan was probably feeling just the same at that moment.

Morgan knew that being shorter then Arthur was a disadvantage because her face was closer to the surface of the water. However, she figures that all his power is on his head while hers is all with her legs. "We so have this in the bag."

"Um ok..." Joss said he felt a bit uncomfortble on top of Morgan but he was confident with her cnfidence.

Morgan had been noticing Joss's lack of expression and emotion. He has been somewhat like a zombie for the past couple hours. She didn't want to start a scene, so she ignored it for now.

Crys slowly got onto Arthur's shoulders, running her fingers through Locks with a grin. She patted the hair-creature and smiled. "You'll protect me, won't you Locks?" She asked in the cutest voice she could muster

Arthur let out a little laugh and adjusted to the weight change, though it was very small, as Locks crept down under crys' backside and then up Crys' back. He stood solid as if Crys were siting in a chair, that would stop her falling off.

"Pfft...showoff." Morgan said, laughing at the thought of her hair doing the same.

Crys blushed as she felt Locks creep along her body, but felt relieved when she realized that he basically turned into a chair for her.
"How do we start?" Joss asked opening his wings to elp keep his balance atop of morgans shoulders

"Clasp her hands and then just start!" Morgan replied, striding towards Arthur.

Arthur laughed "I dont think anyone's going to win. Crys isn't going to fall off now and Joss can keep his balance with his wings."

"And I'll move fast...BUT...what'll you do?" Morgan grinned, walking right up in front of Arthur to let the two above them grab hands.

Crys grabbed a hold of Joss' hands and smiled. "You're going down, Joss."

"Oh you'll see" Arthur said, grinning evily at Morgan. It was a confident grin, a grin that said that he was going to be very, VERY unfair.

Morgan kept her guard up and stanced her feet.
Joss was a touch worried but as he locked hands with Crys he had a devilish idea. It wouldn't be fair but it might be funny. He took a deep breath and concentrated. From his second nostrils he released a silent chirp that cause the water to rippel. If done properly it should knock ovr both Crys and Arthur.

Morgan didn't hear it, but she noticed the water rippling. She curled her toes on the pool toles on the bottom and grabbed tightly onto Joss's legs. She would be like a rock, steady and firmly planted.

Arthur yelped and wobbled, trying to keep his balance. There was a sudden activity of movement and then every dread lock on Arthur's head ,apart from the ones holding Crys, was standing on end. He looked like a massive spiky seaurchin with a grin, and best of all the spikes supported him. He got back up onto his feet "Looks like we're both up for it..."

Morgan grinned when she saw the effects, "Hey! Do that again!" She had an idea.
Joss focused and made the sound again this time with more force

Assuming that Joss could keep his balance with his wings, Morgan purposely got rid of her footing and brought herself completely under the water. In as swift of motion as one can do underwater, she swiped her foot towards Arthur's, hitting them firmly and making him lose his stance.

Crys yelped as she felt Arthur's footing give way underneath Morgan's kick

Once Morgan was sure that his footing was completely gone, she popped back up from under the water and took in a big breath of air.

Arthur yelped, but he and Locks were more prepared now. They were trying to make him loose balance rather than knock Crys off. Instead of Locks just spiking off now two large flat surfaces distended down and slammed into the floor. They looked like two massive brown floppy bunny ears coming from Arthur's head but they were acting more like feet. "Thanks" he mumbled, trying to get back on his feet.

"Pfft...that's not right." Morgan remarked.

"You can run on water and bat boy up there can blow me over by sneezing. How is me using my power not fair?" Arthur grumbled, crossing his arms.

Morgan laughed, "You leave yourself too vulnerable." she remarked as she moved her body back a little and brought her legs up to her chest. With all the force she could underwater, she straightened them, kicking Arthur's chest.

Arthur let out a yell, Crys tumbled sideways into the water with a splash but Arthur wasn't so lucky. He flew backwards threw the water until his body slammed hard into the wall behind him and driving his breath out of his chest. With a shakey cough he sunk under water.

Morgan came back up from under the water. Seeing them both not above the surface, left her pleased. "Oh heck yea...we win!"

Arthur gagged and panicked as he tried to suck a breath in but only getting a lung full of water. He floundered wildly, splashing wildly as he tried to get out.

It was clear something was wrong. Morgan's instincts took over. She went under the water and seemed to slither out from between Joss's legs, towards where Arthur went under. Since the water was somewhat shallow, she stood up and yanked him above the surface from his armpits, "You ok?"

It was a miracle that Morgan got close enough to grab him, he was moving so wildly. He coughed up a load of water, spluttering and choking slightly "Chest" he groaned, rubbing himself firmly "To powerful..." He straightened up and winced "Back... wall hurts."

Amy ran over to the poolside where the two where. She leaned down and grabbed his armpits, "Mortimer...help me."

Mort ran with her and reached down, grabbing Arthur's other armpit and hauling him up until Arthur could sit on the edge of the pool. "You ok?" he asked, patting his back gently.

A big bruise had already started to form on his chest. "I-...I'm so sorry. I didn't think that it was going to be that strong." Morgan said out of guilt.

Arthur coughed again and winced, somehow managing to smile "It's ok... you didn't mean to. Just dont do that to people you like from now on."

Morgan smiled a little too, Arthur was such a sweet, forgiving person. "But you have to admit....that is an awesome battle wound...if I do say so myself."

Arthur let out a chuckle that was wracked with coughs and wheezes "Yeah, I can bear my scars with pride and say 'I got this when my friend kicked me in the chest'"

Morgan was still in the pool when she turned to the side, revealing her back to him. "Go on...do it. Hit me as hard as you can to make the trade even." Her tone was very serious.

arthur chuckled softly, his breathing less raspy now "It's ok, I dont want to hit you. It's not like I could do as much damage as you did though... If you ever try it on dry land I swear you'll wear your enemies as shoes."

Morgan gave up. It was his chance to hit her and he wimped out. "We won."

Crys climbed out of the pool and went over to Arthur. "How come you didn't hit her?" She asked him quietly. She wouldn't have hesitated to unleash Locks on Morgan if it were her powers...

Morgan rolled her eyes, "Cause he's a good friend." inquiring that she wasn't if she wanted to hit her.

"Oh and you are?" Crys asked, glaring at her. "You practically caved in his chest!"

Morgan grimaced, she felt bad enough without her rubbing it in. "It's not like I meant to! I didn't think that I could do that ....that hard!"

"Then why'd you even try it???" Crys demanding, looking at Arthur's bruised chest worriedly

"We were playing a game!" Morgan came back. In a sense, she knew that Crys was right.

Crys didn't even dignify that with a response. She placed her hand on Arthur's bruised chest

Morgan felt her eyes get watery. In an instant, she turned away from everyone to hide them. Morgan got out of the pool with her fists clenched. One might think that she was angry, but in truth...she felt absolutely horrible for doing such an accidental thing to s new friend. The clenched fists were merely holding her tears inside. Being brought up on the streets has taught her never to cry....at least not in front of anyone. Without saying goodbye to anyone, she darted off to Crys and Morgan's Room. Her sunglasses fell off her head and crashed onto the cement.

Crys saw her run away and felt bad for what she had said. She looked back down at Arthur and couldn't help but change her mind back. What she said was true. Game or not, Arthur might have some severe damage inside or something

Arthur just stared at the floor and shook his head "You should never hit a women.." he mumbled, his hands shaking slightly. He felt horrible for letting Morgan feel like that but he also felt a great well of happiness that Crys was standing up for him. The happiness was dented by the pain, in fact it felt more like a horrible five car pile up than a dent, but it was still there.

"I...I..." Joss stammered for a moment before bringing himself out of the pool. "Sorry." It was clear by his body language that he didn't know what to do but his allegiance lied with Morgan so he hurried off after her.

Crys rested her hand against Arthur's chest. "Are you...are you going to be alright, Artie?"

Arthur smiled and nodded, getting up shakily and having to use both hands to push himself up "Im fine. More shock than anything else." He twisted his back and it made a horrible cracking sound "That's better..."

Amy grinned when she saw that he was ok. She turned and grabbed Mort's arm, "Come on..." she hinted at giving them some private time.

Mort nodded "See you guys later..." he mumbled, making sure his arm didn't come off. He walked towards the exit "Ok, some things I dont miss about having no skin."

"Oh? How so?" Amy asked, still holding his arm.

"You miss pain right up to the point when you see it" Mort mumbled "I dont miss almost breaking your ribs."

Amy wrapped her arm around his, "Well anyways...I had fun hanging out with you today."

Mort's immovable face seemed to smile wider somehow, you could almost tell he was smiling "I had fun today too. First time in a long while."

"Wanna hang out tomorrow?" Amy grinned, hopefully.

Mort laughed loudly "Cant think of anyone else I'd rather spend the day with."

Amy grinned and chose to take advantage of the situation, "Are you flirting with me?"

Mort couldn't resist "Maybe, do you want me to be flirting with you?"

Amy giggled a little as they walked, "Maybe isn't an answer and you can't answer a question with another question. But since I'll be the honest person here..." She looked down nd looked up at him, grinning, "Yea...I like it."

Mort breathed deeply with pride, more of a habit than anything else "Well I was anyway, I like you. Alot."

Amy's cheeks glistened a darker pink. The arm that was around his, lowered until she interlocked her fingers with his finger bones.

Mort was blushing though it was impossible to see if you couldn't read his body language. He squeezed her hand gently.

Amy smiled sweetly as they headed into The main entrance hall

Crys grimaced when she heard Arthur's back popping. She stood up and gave him a hand getting up. "So ummm...you wanna go back in the pool or do something else?"

"I think we should go tell Morgan I'm all right. It wasn't her fault really, she's not used to her powers. We dont want her too scared to use them now do we?" Arthur said, smiling as best he could to try and reasure Crys.
