Tiptoeing Tigers

Gingerly the tigers
Tiptoed through the rain
Past the zebra riders
Right up to the drain

The gazelles didn't smell them
The giraffes didn't see them
Nothing there could stop them
As they bent to take a drink

Then the tigers started leaping
And the animals went running
And they ran until the sun set
Then they paused to get a drink

As they were calmly lapping
The rain slowed to a stop
Then the sun, it started shining
And the animals looked up

The tigers softly tiptoed
Off into the sun
The animals all sighed
And so the day was done

2006-03-17 [Runingwhispers]: interesting

2006-03-18 [Kitara Softpaw]: Hmm, it was just a whimsical poem I made when I was a Freshman. I actually rather like it.

2006-03-18 [Runingwhispers]: yes, I was not sure if I should tell you I was smiling about it all day...its like a metaphor on life, I think I have a dairy entry similar to it...not a poem just a thought that a friend shared with me.

2006-03-19 [Kitara Softpaw]: ;P The thought of zebra riders and tiptoeing tigers amuses me.
