Magic: He has recently acquired the ability or absorb his staff and take on the attributes of a gorilla. His physical strength is literally unimaginable.
Strengths: In his slender form he is a master of evasion and counter strikes. The primal fist imitates the agility and acrobatics of monkeys. In gorilla mode his body becomes highly muscularly defined but not super beefy. His speed and evasion falls but his sheer physical strength cannot be rivaled.
Weaknesses: He is not the brightest fighter to date.
Appearance: Generally he has medium length brown hair that looks bed ridden, but With his staff in hand his hair is manged and wild. He has emerald green eyes and a primate like round face. His body is slender and willowy to fit his style of fighting. He wears a sleeveless grey tunic and baggy brown pants to match. He wears no shoes because it inhibits its opposable toes.

Personality: Saru never takes a thing seriously except a good fight. He will even go to extremes (or even the limits of reality) for a laugh. The only thing that does put him straight is the chance for a fight against a string opponent.

History: Saru's parents were scientists who studied the primates high in the mountains of Elftown. During their studies he was raised by both humans and monkeys alike until he was twelve when he stumbled upon a lost temple while exploring the mountains. There he met the lone remaining user of the primal fist, the martial arts that revered the primates. The old man took Saru under his wing with his parents permission to make him the next master of the primal fist. Upon the age of seventeen he was granted the title of master and the sacred staff. After a a while of defeating every beast in the mountains he became bored and descended into the world in search of competition.
