Poem's Title: Summoner
Poem:

The gathering clouds, the waiting storm
The darkness far deeper than the norm
The thunder rolls and beats real hard
The lightning flashes like a mirror shard
And at the center of this onslaught
Is a young child, who this storm brought
Her thin arms raised to the sky
One hand rotates to say goodbye
But her target is missed, her strength too weak
And she is struck, instead, with a thin streak
The town of evil, responsible for the death
Turned away without holding breath
For once evil won
And good undone
The child is taken up into the sky
Where her heaven is waiting nigh
So evil hasn't won
And good is not undone

Poem's Title: The Product of Insomnia and Time to Kill Becomes the Poet's Brainchild
Poem:
Choo-choo! Choo-choo!
Chugga-chugga Choo-choo!
Like a train, coming off the tracks
This poem really sucks

I close my eyes, it makes them burn
I try to sleep, but it's no use
This poem sucks really bad
And there's nothing you can do to stop it

It originated in a small town
On the north end of Kentucky
And it started sucking there and then
And hasn't stopped since

It first sucked the poet's house in
Then his neighborhood whole,
Then the whole town of Alexandria
Soon was sucked into their doom

It spread across the state
Is suckitude a word?
If it was, then it would describe
This poem, because it sucks.

The entire forty-eight contiguous
Fell flat into the belly of the beast
The poem kept on sucking,
But skipped right over Canada

It seemed nobody knew how
To stop the wrath of the suck
This great, immoral vacuum
Ate Jason Biggs of American Pie fame

It looked like it would never end
It sucked in the whole earth,
Next the universe, it thought
And this poem is too long for its own good

Well, the poem sucked and sucked
I mean, this poem, it sucks real bad
It got to The Flaorjaoejenndne galaxy
But they REALLY suck, more than this poem
(Trust me, I've been there, the place sucks)

So Flaorjaoejenndne's citizens
Sucked and sucked and sucked
And eventually the wrath of the poem that sucked
Was ended by their sucking.

Everyone was going to rejoice
But they were too busy pondering
Why they allowed me to waste their time
By reading this incredibly bad poem.

Poem Category: Controversial
Poem's Title: Humanity
Poem:

On the brink of disaster,
On which the world lies
We look for a savior
Up in the skies.

Destroying the earth
The virus we are
Blaming each other,
Going too far.

Litter the streets,
Smog the clouds
Doom the earth.
Join the crowds.

The majority ignorant
To impending doom
Too stupid, too blind
The fate we presume

Are we that foolish?
Unaware of the obvious?
Or innocent and censored,
Just oblivious.

The earth sees this all
To us it warns
Humanity, replies
With uncaring and scorn.

In the final hour
Denial, confusion, lies
The sky goes black,
And cries.

Poem Category: Deep Thoughts
Poem's Title: Broken
Poem:

My heart is broken
I thought it couldn't happen.
“To Me? Never!”
But I let it happen
I loved
I disserve to be broken
I slipped
I let my heart be opened
I can't let it happen again
I won't let it happen again
Never again!
I will never let anyone in
I'm not to be broken again

Poem Category: Love
Poem's Title: Adoration Disturbed
Poem:

There was a passion knot within
at every glancing smile
there was the spicy scent of sin
which tempted for a while

the darkness pierced by gleaming truth
the blindfold quite slack
the secrets left unspoken now
are carefully gathered back

the cautious kiss and soft caress
my gently offered palm
night's entrancing siren's cry
has faded to a psalm
