In addition to the 20 books she has already written, Tamora Pierce has a slew of books in progress. Here is a tentative list of the books she intends to publish in the next 7 years.
Note: All the release dates are tentative, and are the release dates for Canada and the United States. This doesn't mean that those of you in the UK, Europe, and Australia aren't going to get the books ever! We simply don't have the schedule for these releases.
2004:
SHATTERGLASS, Book Four of The Circle Opens quartet.
TRICKSTER'S QUEEN, Book two of two books which detail the adventures of Alanna's daughter Alianne.
2005:
CIRCLE REFORGED (tentative title), which brings the original four Circle mages (Sandry, Daja, Briar, Tris) together after their adventures abroad.
TERRIER, book one of The Provost's Dog trilogy, three books which detail the adventures of a street girl raised to be a manhunter by Tortall's Lord Provost, set 200 years before ALANNA: THE FIRST ADVENTURE.
2006:
BLOODHOUND book two of The Provost's Dog trilogy, detailing the further adventures of the girl nicknamed "the Provost's Dog" as she rises through the ranks of the Lord Provost's command.
untitled Circle universe book, in which Tris enrolls at the mages' university in Lightsbridge under an assumed name, in an attempt to become an ordinary mage practicing normal academic magic (spells, charms, potions) with no one knowing her real name or power.
ELKHOUND, book three of The Provost's Dog trilogy, the ultimate task set for the girl nicknamed "the Provost's Dog".
2008:
