I like to cook, well love to cook. My food is a little different. You may like some but hate other things I make.
I will add my foods as I go. These are just basic starts, you can add to them for your taste. When I get a dig-cam I will have pic's of the process & foods.
Vegetables
Ingredients:
onion, mushroom, fresh peppers, garlic or any vegetable
butter (olive oil works, but is not as good)
non-stick frying pan with lid *lid must be smaller than pan*.
Directions:
Toss all vegetables in pan with lots of butter.
Cover with lid, press down lid till all vegetables are covered.
Heat on med-high
cook 5-8 min or till desired tenderness.
Crispy Cheesey Bread
Ingredients:
Non-stick frying pan
bread
Thin sliced cheese(colby jack, provolone, mozzarella)
Butter
Directions:
1)pre heat pan medium-high
2)spread butter on bread one side, place cheese.
3)flip over butter other side place cheese.
4)place bread with chese down in center of pan.
5)cook each side till brown should take 1-2 min total time.
if you burn it a little don't worry, that's why it's called crispy.
Stuffed Biscuits
Ingredients:
dinner rolls you buy at store. 8pcs
cheese(does not matter what type)
butter
cooking sheet
oven
Directions:
1) Pre-heat oven to 425deg's
2) Take cooking sheet and spread butter on it(Olive oil can be used)
3) Flatten biscuits on pan.
4) Place cheese in center of roll. Fold in to ball.
Repeat till all biscuits are ready
5) Reduce heat to 400deg's. Cook for 18-20 min or till golden brown.
*you may put other stuff with cheese: onion, mushroom, fresh peppers, or any vegetable, lunchmeat E.I. ham, roast beef, turkey. If you do this, it is best to use 2 biscuits, one for the bottom and one for a lid. Still roll in to a ball when you're done putting your stuff in it.
Candy Apples
Ingredients:
fresh apples
sugar
water
non-stick frying pan
Directions:
Cut apples in to small pieces; add to pan with water.
Heat to med high
Add sugar for every one apple use about 8 or more spoon fulls
Cook till apples look clear and soft. The water will thicken as it cools -- turning it into apple-jam/syur
p
Sausage and Salsa
Ingredients:
Non-stick frying pan
Italian sausage 6pcs
Salsa
Directions:
Pre-heat pan to medium
Take sausage and remove the skin part.
Make little balls
Put jar of salsa in pan
Cook for about 30 seconds
Put meat into pan
Cook till meat is about done
Stir meat and salsa around till done
Once meat is cooked, simmer for about 2 mins
Total time should be about 15-20 min.
Creamy Soup
This can be done in many ways
Ingredients:
med or large sauce-pan
You can use more then one can of any type
1 can(s) of cream of mushroom
1 can(s) of cream of chicken
1 can(s) of cream of broccoli
1 can(s) of rice with mixed veggies you may or not want to drain the broth. If you do not drain broth, use less water
Milk
Cheese preferred shredded or velveeta anything that will melt fast.
Water
Directions:
open cans of soup
pour into renable (reasonable) size sauce-pan
for every 2 cans of soup add one can of milk
for every 2 cans of soup add half a can of water
heat till hot, stir often.
