THE STORM

The sea swirling and churning
A tempest growing out of control
Feeding upon its intense anger
Roaring for release in the night

Swords of energy flashing brightly
As lightening illuminates the sky
Showing of the whirling blackness
Fading to recapture its strength


Thunder resounds through the air
Rumbling through the heavens
Vibrating across the sands
Agitating the seas rolling floor


The waves building upwards
Increasing height and width
Escalating toward the darkened sky
Only to crash back down again


The tempest that is mounting
Building and growing so strong
Churning up the mighty sea
Reflect this life within

Heart Encased


He tries to scale a wall of brick
That stands tall in front of him
Looking for a crack or hole
Some way that he can get in


A chink appears before him
Just right for his hand to fit
Loose mortar makes another one
As he moves it around a bit


Scaling slowly upwards now
His confidence does increase
The prize he sees in his minds eye
As he picks up his climbing pace


His hands he places on the top
Pulling up with all his might
On leg he throws up on the wall
The next follows close behind


His happiness is overwhelming
His joy grows by leaps and bounds
He finally looks down at the prize
Only to see a heart incased in ice

The Way of the Wandering Orc



The reverberation of metal could be heard
As the fight raged through out the night
Who would come out as the victor now
And who would loose this time their life
For one shall survive and one shall die
The dead not mourned but tossed away
While the conqueror would now rule them
The strongest will always command the rest
Be the ruler male or female matters not
One will do as well as the next to them
If they are the fiercest one of their race
They will follow them where they may lead
Until the time another takes up the helm
For this is the way of the wandering Orcs

Rain Against the Window



As the rain beats against the window
And your words rip across my heart
I wonder how we ever came to this
Wounded hearts and suffocating pain


I would gladly give up all that I am
To find that which we once had
How much more of this can I take
I think that I have finally lost my faith


The words we spoke have cut so deep
And all those that we left unspoken
Are the ones that would have mattered
So now there are no words left to say


How did we manage to come this far
From how we could not bare to part
The trust we had is shattered now
Our budding love has turned to stone


As the rain cries against the window
The wind howls its saddened song
Memories of the love we once had
Spin and dance along my heart

The world turns full circle
The night becomes the day
The problems of yesterday
Can well be left behind


A fresh starts awaits you
If only you looks and see
All around you blooms
A wondrous new day


Hold your face to the sun
As the wind flows over you
Listen to the songs of birds
And the laughter in the breeze


Know that you can truly be
Anything your heart desires
Leave the worries of yesterday

As the moonlight dances across the water
And stars shine brightly through the sky
Memories of you standing here with me
Flash like pictures through my mind


I see your hand reaching out to take mine
With laughter glowing in your eyes
The words spoken without speaking
Our time together stolen out of time


A soft breeze stirring up the wildflowers
The smell of them drifting through the air
Whispered words cutting through the quiet
Our laughter spiraling through the night


How did we ever loose those moments
The gifts life had bestowed us with
The whispers now have turned to silence
The laughter to tears brimming in my eyes

The Nights Sky


Standing on the seas lonely shore
I gaze upon the moon so high
Glowing brilliantly in the darkness
Of the immense star studded sky


Wondering just how it would feel
To journey on the clouds gliding by
Sinking upon the velvety softness
As the sounds of the night drift by


Shimmering streams of color cascade
In the wake of a star falling in the night
Burning brilliantly as it plummets
Into the vast darkness of the nights sky

He sits and thinks of words to say
To express his thoughts and views
Sending us to places far and wide
Where some dreams really do come true


The words paint a picture in our mind
As they flow from the pencil in hand
You can see and smell the things around
Because of the story tellers hand


He pulls you in with his flowing words
And leads you through all the lands
Showing you many wondrous things
Yes he is the master story telling man

He sees him in his minds eye
Before he ever starts to draw
The pencil races across the page
Bringing forth a brand new life


The eyes shine with hidden depths
As his mane of hair flows free
A sculptured body springs to life
Standing oh so proud and tall

From his thoughts where it began
And the pencil placed upon the page
Is now the man you see standing tall

As darkness recedes
And daylight filters in
I look upon the heavens
Looking for my friend


There on the horizon
Gleaming for all to see
Taking one final bow

Her beauty will be missed

Entrancing all who see
With her exquisiteness
She is my morning star

TODAY


I see your hand stretching out to me
Asking me to place my trust in you
I look down deep into your eyes
You’re asking me believe in you
I can hear all of your loving words
Asking me to truly care for you

I close my eyes as I think of you
Not being here with me today
I see the hurt of not loving you
The pain of loosing trust in you
And fear from not believing you
Aching from not caring for you

Realizing what is meant to be
Knowing just what my life is now
I ask myself what I fear today
Looking inside seeing what I want
My heart always reminding me
Oh yes and then I know what I will do

You’re all I need to make me smile
All I want is to hold you close to me
You take my love and give me more
I now believe in what we share today
My trust in you has grown so much
I care for you as you’re all I need today

Shattered


She walked across the land
Carrying her heart in hand
A present she desired to make
One she hoped that he would take

Across the many miles she went
Never feeling tired or spent
Her happiness it knew no bounds
as her feet walked over the ground

She tried to think of what to say
While she went along her way
Her steps slowed as she drew near
To the one she held so very dear

He turned and saw her heart in hand
He reached and threw it to the ground
You do not mean a thing to me
Just go away now and leave me be

She fell to her knees beside her heart
and watched as it slowly fell apart
Her hopes and dreams were torn away
Shattered beyond repair on that day

Lost

I lost a part of me today
It was when you went away
It hurt more than you know
As I watched you turn and go

Myself it was as if I lost
To high a price was the cost
My blindness is the death of me
I let him come first you see

Now I lost my precious friend
As she rolls away with the wind
There is no way I can condone
The fault is mine and mine alone

Never will I be the same
As the day you first came
Smiles and love you gave to me
In return I gave you tears you see

A fool I am for this I know
And now in turn I made you go
For I lost a part of me today
