Title: Vra’nok
Race/Home world: Jaffa/Chulak
Occupation: Former servant of Ba’al
Build: 6’3”, 247 lbs., strong, dark brown hair. He usually wears his SGC uniform, but he has his Jaffa armor which he prefers to wear into battle. Like all other Jaffa, except for the Sodan, Vra’nok bears the symbol of his slavery upon his forehead.
Specialization: Goa’uld tactics, death glider piloting, guerilla warfare, Jaffa close-quarter combat styles, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to new weaponry.
Background: He has done many unspeakable things in his service to Ba’al, he never expected that the god he served was a false one. That is, until the great Teal’c revealed the truth when he turned against Apophis. Vra’nok was freed of his service to the false god Ba’al when he gained control of Anubis’s forces. Ba’al had little need for Jaffa once he had the army of Kull Warriors. Vra’nok made his way to Dakaara and chose at first to live among his fellow free Jaffa, but he was not happy with this existence. He was a warrior and all those on Dakaara seemed more like the diplomat-type now that they were free. He thirsted for the adventure and battle that he had been raised for.
The opportunity to joint he SGC arrived and he took it in a heartbeat. He was glad to serve with the men and women who had helped to bring down the false gods, and to follow in the footsteps of the great Teal’c. He strove to prove himself to be just as good a warrior as Teal’c, but he knew that he could not achieve this. Teal’c was a First Prime, and he was simply a warrior. He had not the extensive training, nor experience that Teal’c had. However, he did have experience in other fields and he applied himself to those until he gained the attention of the Generals in charge of choosing the members of the Gemini team. He was selected from all the other SG teams and gladly accepted the chance to prove himself on such a scale.
