What is Proof?



Proof is defined as;

1. The evidence or argument that compels the mind to accept an assertion as true. 2a. The validation of a proposition by application of specified rules, as of induction or deduction, to assumptions, axioms, and sequentially derived conclusions. 2b. A statement or argument used in such a validation. 3a. Convincing or persuasive demonstration. 3b. The state of being convinced or persuaded by consideration of evidence. 4. the effect of evidence sufficient to persuade a reasonable person that a particular fact exists; the establishment or persuasion by evidence that a particular fact exists, something (as evidence) that proves or tends to prove the existence of a particular fact. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law

Also, for the purpose of this wiki and what it pertains to, personal experiences will also be accepted as proof but only when used in the correct discussion and situation since much of the Christian faith has to do with the changing of a person mind, heart and soul.
