Appearance - Paki, like most non-trader Kkalas, is rather tall with dark skin. Aside from that, he does not really look that intimidating. He has an athletic build, but his rather rounded face shape and a slight gap in his teeth make him look younger than he is at times.

Personality - Paki is a curious and faithful person who would have done well in magic if he had a longer attention span. His sporadic thought patterns and inability to understand subtlety have made him the sort of person that takes some getting used to and causes him to come across as rude from time to time. Despite this, Paki does mean well and is very respectful (in his own blunt, inconsiderate way).

History - Paki was raised in the lower level of the Royal City with his little sister. He spent much time in the Mage Market since his father was a trader, and quite good at it. His mother was a devoted mage for Tara and taught Paki that while the earth was their source of life and strength, every element had its place and made its contribution. She tried teaching him magic, and while Paki is loyal to Tara and interested in what magic is capable of, he never had the concentration to master it. He never grasped subtleties and discretion well enough to barter, either. His sister is training to work in the Mage Market alongside their father. Paki is not really sure what to do with his life at this point.
