In World War II, America went up against Japan. It started when the Japanese did a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. They killed 2,300 Americans. Soon the Americans swore that they would avenge Pearl Harbor and they did. The Americans dropped a huge bomb in Japan and after that, Japan surrendered resulting in a major American victory.
